As they stood up, Faye Armstrong suddenly came over and asked, "It was you two, wasn’t it? When I ran out last night, I was stopped by the guards downstairs. I couldn’t get past them. Then you two came down, and they fell asleep by the door. The Cold Lizard didn’t stop you either. Both of you are neatly dressed. Clearly, nothing happened!"

Her voice was a little hoarse from shouting too much the night before.

Faye Armstrong insisted, "I want you two to admit you did it, don’t let Bennett White take the blame!"

Wanda Wesley retorted, "Without us, you would have been dead long ago. Who gave you the audacity to boss us around?"

Faye Armstrong shrank back a little, surprised at Chloe’s coldness.

Due to the mask, everyone had imagined a different, yet equally handsome face for Bennett White.

When his real visage was revealed, they inevitably compared it with their ideal Bennett White in their minds.

Seconds later, collective sighs of disappointment hissed through the crowd.

"So he looks quite ordinary..."

"I at least expected something on the level of a Korean superstar."

"Honestly, both his looks and fighting skills are a disappointment. This isn’t the Bennett White I had in mind."

"The higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. Let’s not go overboard though, he was someone we once admired."
