Chloe Collins, enamored by the delicious food, decided to eat first before thinking further.

The television was playing a variety show.

By coincidence, it was the episode where she and Robert Foster were on!

She was doing archery to tarnish Shelby Hamilton’s reputation, but the post-production staff spun it into her showcasing her skills in front of some handsome guys.

Showed her staring blankly in a certain direction. In the frame, it magically turned into her staring at a male star, with an added subtext: "Brother is so handsome, I wish I could give him perfume."

She was portrayed as a little fan girl.

After a while, she lost interest in watching further, as it was distasteful to her.

Just as she was about to start eating, she felt the icy aura of the man sitting next to her.

His eyes were glued to the TV unblinkingly, with a piece of shrimp in his hand snapped into two pieces.

Only when the camera moved away from her face, his icy aura began to fade away slowly.

"This is just how the entertainment industry works. Otherwise, there will be no highlights." said Chloe calmly.

Alexander probably figured out what had happened, but it was hard for him to associate her with the people he used to know.

She said, "When I first started, I was bullied. Then I was punished to sweep the floor, where I first met him. He’s a good person, gave me medicine, helped me out of the predicament."

Smile on Alexander Foster’s face gradually stiffened, his beautiful eyes were heavy with thoughts.

In his memory, a frail and miserable figure overlie with Chloe’s.

He knew about the tragic experiences of the little girl from others. Seeing the blood on her wrist, he felt pity and took care of her a little.

It was too long ago. He couldn’t quite remember the name of that girl.

But he remembered that she was strong, smart, and even kind.

It’s hellish torture, far worse than death!"

Her whole body was covered in injuries, her face unrecognizable. Both of her eyes were swollen from being punched. Apparently, it might affect her vision and her nose and mouth were also wounded. The most terrifying part was she didn’t eat anything for days, so she could die at any moment!"
