Her mind raced and her eyes finally landed on the large bed.

The bed was too low to hide under, and these people were professionals; if she hadn’t left, she would be found no matter where she hid.

She decided not to hide at all.

Lifting the quilt, she crawled into bed.

With the blanket covering her face and only the back of her head with her hair peeking out, she looked like she was sound asleep.

Right when she settled in bed, a voice echoed from next door, "Found it!"
