Chapter 1084

Three seconds later.

"Robotics Research, are you sure you want to choose this major?" Milton White asked, his tone hinting at a plea.

He was begging her to reconsider.

Alexander Foster added, "The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering - they can all help you in robotics development. You should consider them."

As far as he knew, these majors had quite a few female students.

Automation was the only "forbidden territory". Last year, there was only one female freshman, and later, she transferred to a different major.

As a result, there were no female students in the previous class.

Chloe Collins stopped in her tracks and turned to look at the two men: "What on earth do you guys have on your minds all the time?"

So much to say about choosing a major.

"Why are you choosing this?" The pair asked simultaneously, before exchanging looks of distaste.

Chloe Collins casually replied: "Automation is Capitol University’s most prestigious major and boasts the most impressive faculty. I always want the best."

"What’s Wanda Wesley’s major?" Alexander Foster faintly remembered that his brother Robert Foster mentioned Wanda Wesley was also at Capitol University.

"Physics."

The Physics Department also had quite a few female students; it was supposedly the major with the most balanced representation of male and female students at the university.

"Good friends should study together."

Milton White swallowed his irritation, managing to say in a neutral tone: "I agree with that statement."

Great. Now the two men were teaming up.

Chloe Collins was delighted to see them get along like this, given that the situation with Robert Foster had lasted so long; it was time there was some closure.

But she felt she had no right to intervene; she was simply happy to see them interacting.

Reflecting on this, she retorted: "We are not lovers. What’s the need to be together all the time?"

The words "in love" successfully hit a nerve in both men.

They agreed that the poetry-spouting university student was just a wake-up call.

But they both knew about the young lady’s stubborn nature; once she made up her mind, there was no room for turning back.

Neither soft nor hard tactics would work with her; she would have to come to a realization on her own.

At that moment—

"You guys lacking confidence in yourselves?"

The girl looked at them, her beautiful eyes seemingly holding all the wonderful things in the world.

A belated sense of happiness slowly emerged from their hearts, enveloping them, gently comforting them, smoothing out all their unease.

The two men exchanged glances, their thoughts clear without the need for words—

Even they could not put her down, so what chance did those kids have?

Chloe’s comment was deliberate, hoping to put an end to their incessant chatter.

The three of them continued walking towards the Canteen Building.

Both Alexander Foster and Milton White had studied at universities abroad and were not familiar with Capitol University. Consequently, without any directional signs, it was Chloe who was leading the way.

Of course, she didn’t know her way around either. But she didn’t need signs, she simply followed the pleasing aromas in the air.

Upon stepping into the main gate of the canteen, myriad delicious smells enveloped Chloe, bringing her great joy.

The dining options at Capitol University were numerous and basically the same as external eateries, only they were located in the Canteen Building, not scattered around. In addition to each establishment having its own dining area, there was also a public dining area outside that was tastefully decorated; at this time, quite a few people were already seated.

Because she had just had a meal not long ago, Chloe Collins decided that a snack would do.

Her first choice was the grilled skewers.

Everything was going smoothly, until it came time to season the skewers and the two men had a disagreement.

Alexander Foster: "Make it spicy."

Milton White: "A tiny bit spicy, better not to add it at all."

Alexander Foster: "She likes spicy."

"Just because she likes it, you’ll give it to her? Don’t you know that spicy food is bad for the stomach?" Milton White’s gaze gradually became stern.
