Chloe Collins looked at him, stunned.

Was he asking her... to feed him?

Forget it, appeasing their emotions was the priority right now.

With that thought, she picked up the chicken leg and brought it to his mouth.

Alexander Foster opened his mouth and took a bite.

Milton White put down his chopsticks.

"Eleven, you should focus when you’re eating."

This was a phrase Chloe had heard since she was a child at the Temple. From the first day the medical staff took care of her, she had heard this phrase repeatedly. But after she entered the Dark Alliance, she had hardly heard it.

Now that she heard it again, she felt a hint of nostalgia.

She picked up her bowl then took a bite of rice, and asked Alex, "You still haven’t mentioned your discovery."

Alex responded, "There are outsiders here, I’ll discuss it later."

Milton sneered, "So you mean, I need to leave soon?"

Alex glanced at him, "If you understand, there’s no need for further discussion."

Chloe looked from one man to the other, understanding that they were not on good terms because of Robert’s issue. And now that they were sitting together because of her, it was her responsibility to make them get along.

"Nobody’s leaving. Let’s discuss together, there are no outsiders here." With that statement, she silenced both of them.

The two men exchanged a glance, then looked away, ignoring each other.

Then Alex wiped his hands before speaking, "The two robots we brought back, their chips are faulty."

"Are they made of meteorite crystals?"

Alex looked at her in surprise, "You knew?"

"The medical staff just told me." She casually patted Milton White’s shoulder and gave it a friendly squeeze.

A look of pleasure appeared in Milton’s eyes. He added more food to Chloe’s bowl and casually said, "And here I thought it was some earth-shattering discovery."

His casual comment made everyone else feel uneasy.

After draining his glass of wine, Alex looked troubled. The complexities of learning about the joint venture between Milton and Chloe for LM resurfaced in his mind.

"Nevertheless, the medical staff’s discovery stops there, whereas you seem to have unearthed something else." Chloe looked at him.

Milton also looked at him expectantly.

Alex softened his expression a bit, "Yes, but I won’t do anything without certainty."

He busied himself with his phone, keeping mum for a while.

The next second, Chloe felt her phone vibrate, so she checked it. Turns out, Alex had sent her a message.

It was a series of pictures, of a meteorite crater, the meteorite itself, and the flora and fauna surrounding the crater.

"This data was recorded after the meteorite accident twenty-five years ago, Chlo-Chlo. Do you notice anything special about the plants?"

Listened to his words, Chloe zoomed in on the images.

"Eleven."

Chloe responded, then passed him her phone to see the message.

Milton seemed displeased. It was not the result he wanted.

They were supposed to look at it together.

On the other hand, Chloe had already zoomed in. After staring at the images for a while, she pointed out, "These plants and flowers are larger than usual, and their colors are much more vibrant. Plus, the lychee tree bears fruits much bigger than what we see normally."

She looked at Alex, "Lychee trees don’t do well in the North, right? Even if someone grows it, they wouldn’t bear fruits of this size, would they?"

Alex nodded, "Indeed, there is an apple orchard here, but the orchard owner’s son planted some lychee trees around it. The trees didn’t bear good fruit for years until this year. However, shortly after bearing these fruits, the trees all died."
