Chapter 1070

Alexander Foster gave her a slight smile: "Please make a wish, Miss Collins."

Chloe Collins usually didn’t make wishes, she didn’t believe in them.

She stared into his dark eyes for two seconds, then closed her own.

Secretly, she recited a phrase in her heart.

Afterwards, she opened her eyes and blew out the candles.

Everyone was clamoring, asking what wish she had made.

Smiling, Romelo Woods said, "Did she wish to be with Mr. Foster forever?"

"That must be it, that must be it!" the crowd chimed in teasingly.

As they teased, they all crowded together.

Chloe Collins smiled lightly, saying, "It’s a secret."

Alexander Foster reached out his hand to her, asking, "Would you like to join me to see the Starry Ocean?"

The warm summer breeze gently blew, bringing a smile to the girl’s face.

She put her hand in his, and together they climbed up onto the hot air balloon.

Everyone started teasing again, following them eagerly.

Layla Lowell failed to notice and stumbled backward.

Suddenly, her waist was tightly grasped, a strong arm steadying her.

Turning her head, Layla found herself looking into Charles Carrington’s playful eyes. His glasses made him look perfectly disreputable.

"Was that on purpose?" He raised his eyebrow slightly.

Layla Lowell frowned, kicked him in the shin, and walked away.

Turning her head to look at the rising hot air balloon, she resumed her smile and called out, "Kiss!"

Everyone echoed in unison, shouting "Kiss."

Evelyn Thompson was wiping away tears, tears of emotion.

Cherry Foster had an envious look in her eyes. For the moment, she set aside her prejudice against Chloe Collins, nothing but envy remained.

To the side, Jameson Spence lowered his gaze, pursed his lips, and reflected upon himself.

The old master wore a complex expression, a blend of relief, joy, and more prominently, worry.

How he wished that this moment could be the conclusion of the two people’s story.

He sighed, turned, and walked away.

The hot air balloon gradually soared into the sky, blending with the stars of the night. It seemed as if the painter’s fantasy world had come to life.

Chloe Collins was surprised by the abundance of snacks and her smile widened.

"So much to eat."

The man’s expression was gentle, like tranquil spring water. He said softly, "Your birthday gift is inside."

Upon hearing this, she squatted down to rummage through the pile of delectable food. Eventually, she found a hard square box.

The box was large and rectangular, made from sandalwood, and had fine reliefs on its surface.

"Open it and see."

She thought, perhaps it was some sort of jade artefact. The box was pretty large, unlikely to be jewelry like a necklace.

As she opened the box, a fragrance of sandalwood wafted out.

Under the light, Chloe Collins saw herself.

She frowned slightly, seemingly perplexed.

Standing up straight and placing the object under the light, she found it to be an exceedingly finely crafted wooden figurine.

The figurine, was of her.

She looked at Alexander Foster, her eyes filled with surprise.

"Take it out and see." He said.

Before his words had finished, the figurine was already in Chloe Collins’ hands.

The formal dress on the figurine was familiar. It was the same one she wore for her grandfather’s birthday celebration.

The white dress he had personally designed was soft and flowing. The strapless design complemented the wide-legged trousers, embodying her unrestricted yet unrestrained style.

Chloe examined the wooden figurine closely, her eyes never blinking.

The left hand of the figurine was holding a pure white mask, the right hand holding a sweeping length of white cloth. The cloth, adorned with an abundance of stars, made her look like a goddess of the universe, holding the galactic starlight. Upon closer inspection, each star adorning the "starry cloth" was unique. At the start of the Milky Way was a perfume bottle upside down with fragrance dripping from it. Engraved in tiny letters on it was, ’Young Master Miles White,’ along with a cluster of star-like code symbols arrayed around the word ’hunt.’ Further along, a crescent moon was connected to a string of stars, with the word ’Primordial’ inscribed on the moon. Interweaved within the ’Primordial,’ there was an exquisitely small and realistic brush, drips of ink forming into a passionate racing world, and emblazoned on the front of the dashing race car was the name, ’Aaron Hill.’
