Chapter 1061

A roar of anger tore through the room, a man full of hatred grabbed a fruit basin and furiously lunged at his niece by blood relation.

But Chloe Collins simply stood calmly in the doorway, her frail figure radiating a chill and lonely aura, watching the man that was charging at her.

The next second, a strong arm blocked in front of Chloe. Clear-knuckled fingers grasped Reginald Taylor’s wrist in time, and with a twist, forced him to let go of the fruit basin he held.

Heijii’s gaze was ice cold: "Deliberately causing injury, do you want to end up in jail?"

Reginald Taylor was still fuming, glaring at Chloe Collins, he roared, "You wretched whore, you destroyed my home, I will make you pay!"

"Come if you’re not afraid to die." Chloe responded coldly, her clear and decisive eyes glanced at him indifferently and then she walked into the hospital ward.

"I have a few words to speak with Madam alone."

The others were naturally unwilling, and Rosa Taylor was even more angry, she pointed at Chloe and shouted, "Aria, Francis, this woman ruined your home, why aren’t you forcing her out?"

Chloe Collins lifted her lips, casually sat on the armrest of the couch, assuming a nonchalant demeanor.

"The victors are kings, and the losers are outcasts, so this is all you’re capable of now?"

Rosa Taylor glared at her with teary eyes, smirking coldly, "And you think you’re the ultimate winner? God will punish you! Just you wait!"

Chloe shook her head in disapproval, "Madam, wasn’t it just a few days ago, you were flaunting your might in front of me, talking about reconciliation, speaking up for me? And now you cry so tragically? Oh, I forgot, you’re no longer the strong woman people speak of."

These words hit Rosalind Taylor’s sore spot, but she had no words to counter with.

Chloe’s words were like cloyingly salty salt, purposely poured onto their bleeding wounds.

At that moment, the old lady said, "Rosalind, Reginald, take the children and leave first, if anything happens, I’ll ring the bell."

"Grandma, if she dares to do anything to you, I’ll kill her!" Rosalind’s son, Francis Taylor spoke out.

The old lady waved her hand for them all to leave.

The door closed, and Hejii stood guard at the entrance.

Chloe didn’t move, sitting coldly on the couch, silently watching the old lady on the hospital bed.

The old lady let out a dry chuckle, her laugh sounding like the rustling of bark being peeled from a dead tree, dry and fragile.

"Are you happy now, are you satisfied, has your anger subsided?"

Chloe didn’t respond.

The old lady was still laughing, but her teeth clenched tightly, "You’re more ruthless than your mother, at least she wouldn’t do something this heartless to me, you’re simply inhumane."

"Thank you for the compliment." Chloe replied in a chill tone.

Her legs casually crossed, finger resting on her forehead, her gaze distant and indifferent. She looked on, as if a god fallen from the heavens, observing the sorrow of mortals with a blank expression, or like a wandering demon from Hell, seemingly harmless but cold to the bone!

"Regardless, the person your mother hated was me, Reginald and the others had nothing to do with it. The Taylors are now yours, but you have to take responsibility for them, the position of the president, you must give it to Reginald!"

Chloe smiled slightly, "At this point, do you think you still have the right to demand anything from me? Is this the attitude of someone needing help?"

Madam clutched the bedsheet, excitingly said, "The Taylors was originally ours! When it was established, you didn’t even know where you were! How dare you sit in this position!"
