Chapter 1059: Chapter 1059 The Taylors Have No Hope, Surrender_1

Chapter 1059

Chloe Collins laughed, as though she heard a joke.

"For mistreating my mother alone, your sins are grave."

Exhaustion filtered through her eyes as she had enough of observing the desperation etched on their faces, a desperation born out of a woeful lack of solutions.

"The Taylors will only get worse from here on. A debt of several billion is my gift to all of you. Enjoy."

A smirk played around her lips as she turned to leave, gliding away like a crane taking flight, leaving behind an aura of cold emptiness.

Reginald Taylor grabbed his head on the verge of tears, "We’ve put all our people into this! What do we do now! The day after tomorrow is payday. Without the Phantasm deal, we don’t have enough money to keep things running! If the staff goes on strike, the only thing left would be to file for bankruptcy!"

Rosalind Taylor staggered. Her mind buzzed with only one phrase: finished.

Suddenly, her hand was clasped.

"Ruth, please ask Tristan Collins for a loan. You ask him, and I’ll appoint you President of the Taylors, also I’ll give you half of Reginald’s and my shares!"

Rosalind Taylor was furious, but she had to admit, the offer was tempting.

With the thought that the Taylors would entirely be hers once this crisis was over, she sought Tristan Collins that very night.

Tristan Collins, having deduced her intentions from the news, showed no signs of surprise upon her arrival.

"I will not contribute a single penny to salvage a hopeless mess."

His words struck Rosalind Taylor like a ton of bricks.

"Husband, please help us. The Taylors just fell short this time. Just help us past this crisis!"

Raine Nolan stepped forward, "Dad, everything was going smoothly until Chloe Collins sabotaged us. She leaked the information to the press. If it weren’t for her, the Taylors’ businesses would still be thriving."

Tristan Collins was stunned.

"You’re saying that all of this is Chloe’s doing?"

Raine Nolan declared with urgency, "Yes, she said it was to avenge her mother! It was intentional!"

Tristan Collins cracked a smile, much to everyone’s surprise.

"Dad, you..."

Tristan Collins snorted coldly, "The Taylors got what they deserved! I can’t wait to watch them go bankrupt!"

"And as for you, you should’ve learned by now that you’re not cut out for business. Stop daydreaming, stay home and take care of the kids!"

He turned his back on them and walked off with indifference.

Just as Raine Nolan tried to dissuade him, she was held back by Rosalind Taylor.

With a vacant expression, Rosalind Taylor murmured, "He won’t help. He didn’t help when the Taylors’ had a crisis years ago, he won’t help now. He despises the Taylors."

"But what do we do? Mom, how much do you stand to lose?"

Rosalind Taylor closed her eyes in resignation, "I don’t hold many shares, so I’ll lose some, but it won’t be devastating. The main problem is Reginald and the others; if they can’t finance their ventures, they’re truly destitute."

"Damn you, Chloe Collins! You heartless witch!" Raine Nolan cursed.

A wave of anger and helplessness washed over her. No matter how much she cursed, it did nothing to change their current predicament.

That same night, a determined Rosalind Taylor rushed back to the Taylors to call for a meeting regarding funds.

The next morning, amid a barrage of negative news, Reginald Taylor admitted his mistakes and made a public statement that he wouldn’t divorce his wife, who expressed forgiveness.

By the afternoon, rumors circulated that the Taylors couldn’t afford to pay their employees. Additionally, news about defective products sprouted as well.

By the third day, the situation had spiraled out of control. Hospitals that purchased products from the Taylors informed that they had discontinued the use of the Taylor-made products.

On the fourth day, the Taylors’ stocks hit a new low!

By the seventh day, Rosalind Taylor was exhausted and finally ready to admit defeat.

No one in their circle was willing to lend money to the Taylors.
