Chloe had a smile on her lips: "That’s why you need to think clearly before making any decision. She just goes with the flow without thinking. After choosing Orlando University, she found out she didn’t like it, and now it’s too late to change her mind. She wants to go to Capitol University now, but it’s going to be tough to get in. Besides, she can’t necessarily choose the major she wants even if she goes to the Capitol."

Madam: "What’s wrong with Capitol University? It’s the best university in the nation, located in the capital. It should have been her first choice."

"Ah, that’s how she is, sometimes you just don’t know what she’s thinking. She prioritized her participation in the training squad over college entrance exam preparation for an entire term. I believe she could do well in chemistry, but the other subjects... it’s not looking good. I heard the admissions scores for Capitol University are going to increase this year, especially for the Department of Mathematics that Raine got into. Without a score of at least 700, there’s little chance of getting in."

"Enough boasting about your child, let’s wait for the results before saying anything." Madam then asked, "You said Tristan and his sister want her to go to Orlando University? Why is that?"

Rosalind’s smile faded slightly as she explained, "Milton White of the Whites family is interested in her. They hope for a marriage alliance and, of course, they want to send her to study there. They even promised to give her the flower field and the amusement park on her birthday."

She gritted her teeth.

"So those assets are indeed in her hands!" Madam was a bit excited.

"Nothing’s certain yet." Rosalind smirked. "Now that she has given up Orlando University to apply for Capitol instead, Tristan is furious and even claimed he won’t hand over those two things to her."

"That’s unacceptable!" Madam ordered, looking intently at Rosalind. "You’ve got to persuade them to leave everything to Chloe. Only then, can we benefit from it."

"Benefit? Mom, you are delusional. Do you think she would give us anything?"

"Possibly. Do you know why the Taylors are suddenly doing well?"

Rosalind looked puzzled.

Madam pointed at the stone table, explaining, "It’s her. She brought in a professional team to help your brother. That’s how our company overcame difficulties and got back on track. Now it’s growing rapidly and much of it is thanks to her effort."

"Her heart must indeed be with us if she’s willing to help the company like this. We just haven’t been visiting her often, so she’s upset."

Rosalind was surprised. "Is this true? Did she really get involved in the company’s management? How many shares did you give her? I only got ten percent of the company’s shares. How many did she get?"

"Look at you, being so greedy. She didn’t want a single share. She just didn’t want to see the company her mother built collapse, so she helped."

"Not a single share? How could that be possible?" Rosalind looked incredulous.

"Mom, there must be an issue here!" She asserted confidently.

Madam: "What issue could there be? She didn’t want any shares and yet managed to revive the company. What issue could you possibly see?"

Shaking her head, Rosalind responded, "Never mind that for now. Go back and try to convince her that the Taylor family is her only support. It would be even better if you could persuade her to sell the flower field and invest more money into expanding the company."

"Mom, aren’t you being a bit too naive? You’re not also thinking that if she marries Alexander Foster, the dowry will end up with the Taylors, are you?"
