Chapter 92: Photoshoot

"Athena, are you ready for today’s photoshoot?" Lanny asked while packing their stuff. She would accompany Athena to the place where W Diamond Group decided to take their photoshoot for the upcoming Product Launch.

Each endorser would do a photo shoot for their respective posters, wearing the mystery jewels. A music video would also be taken as part of their advertisement and teaser for the most awaited product launch.

"Yes. I put everything I need in our doppel bag," Athena responded as she came out of her room, wearing her mask.

No one was allowed to do her hair and makeup except Lanny. They already requested a separate dressing room for her.

"Alright. I’ll wait for you in the car," Lanny carried their doppel bag as she headed outside the house.

She was leisurely walking toward their car when her phone rang. When she checked it, Lanny’s expression turned serious. The call was made by one of her men from Country M.

’Hmm. I wonder if this is something urgent.’ Lanny thought to herself before answering the call.

"Hey, Jules. What do you have for me?" Lanny asked her with intrigue.

"Madam, someone is investigating Miss Athena’s background and origin. He is digging for more information about her."

Lanny wasn’t surprised at all. ’This guy must be Dominique’s underling. I think he is on the move.’

"Did he get something significant?"

"No Madam! We restricted all the information related to Miss Athena. You don’t have to worry about it."

"Good." Lanny paused for a moment, thinking about something. She needed to feed Dominique false yet convincing information about Athena.

"Jules, I’m a bit busy today so I’ll send you something later. I want you to give this information to the guy who is investigating Athena’s profile." Lanny already prepared something for this situation. She anticipated this moment.

"Okay, Madam. I’m so sorry for disturbing you. By the way, I already dispatched the team to York City along with the important package. They will accomplish your task by today." Jules informed her.

"Thanks, Jules. I know I can always count on you! I’ll treat you and the team as your reward!" Lanny commended her men.

Lanny and Athena came up with a plan that would convince Dominique that Sabrina was dead. Lanny’s team prepared the evidence and they would execute the plan today.

She smiled inwardly, excited for the good result of their plan.

"Lanny, let’s go?" Athena’s voice caught her attention.

Lanny just nodded and gestured for Athena to enter the car. "Hop in!"

The two ladies drove to the resort where the photoshoot would be held.

Meanwhile, Sasha and her staff were busy preparing the props and the backdrop of the photoshoot. The team of videographers and photographers was now setting up their equipment.

Bella, on the other hand, was assigned to assist and entertain the needs of the endorsers. The three artists who came from abroad were already there, fitting their clothes for the photoshoot. They were waiting for Athena to arrive.

"Athena and her manager are on their way now!" Sasha informed her team.

Bella’s eyes sparkled in excitement when she heard that. Even the three artists were also intrigued by Athena. They were looking forward to meeting her.

"Oh, So the masked singer Athena is coming!" Francis Clarkson, one of the male endorsers, exclaimed at the mention of Athena’s name. "I’ve watched her video. She’s good. As in really good!"

Tommy Cruise chuckled at Francis’s remarks. "Are you one of her fans? I’m surprised."

"Yes. I hope she will be my partner," Francis mumbled with a hopeful look in his eyes.

Lina Jolie, the female celebrity endorser, could only shake her head as she listened to the two men.

"Why do I feel like she is more famous than us? Have you heard of it? W Diamond Group prepared a separate dressing room for her." There was a hint of jealousy in Lina’s tone.

But Bella immediately clarified it so that the other celebrity endorsers wouldn’t feel bad or upset.

"It’s part of the contract Miss Athena signed with us. She wants to keep her mysterious image so she doesn’t want other people to see her face. This is one of the reasons she has a separate room from you. Only her manager can accompany her. No hairstylist and no makeup artist."

"But if you prefer to have a separate dressing room, we can arrange this for you," Bella added, smiling at them politely.

"Haha, Don’t worry, Miss Bella. We are not complaining about it. Never mind Lina. She is just a bit jealous." Tommy chuckled, wrapping his arm around Lina’s shoulder.

"Lina, behave. Keep your bad attitude," Tommy whispered in her ear, teasing her.

Lina just elbowed him, giving him a cold sharp glare. "Shut up, Tommy!"

Francis and Tommy erupted into a peal of laughter. They just made fun of Lina so that she would stop bothering the staff.

Bella could only watch them, feeling relieved. She was grateful to the two male celebrity endorsers. Because of them, Lina didn’t make another comment regarding the special treatment of Athena.

However, before she left their room, she heard Lina mentioning Athena being late. Bella could only scratch her face. Athena was not late. The call time was 9:00 am. It’s just that the company car fetched the three artists from their hotel so early.

Meanwhile, back to the studio where the photoshoot would take place, Sasha received a visitor. Just as they agreed a few days ago, Ashton came to visit and watched the photoshoot in order to see Athena.

Sasha immediately approached her friend. "Ashton, I’m glad you are here. Have you seen Dominique? He didn’t go home last night."

Ashton saw the sadness in Sasha’s eyes when she talked about Dominique. But, Ashton still couldn’t forget what he witnessed last night.

’I’m dying to ask her why she went to Timothy’s condo unit. Why did she hide from me? Am I just overthinking? Or I should worry about it? But the way I see things... I could tell that Sasha loved Dominique so much. There is no way she would cheat on him, right?’ Ashton got so lost in his own thoughts that he failed to respond to Sasha’s question.

"Hey Ash, do you know where I can find Dominique? Did he ask you not to tell me?" Sasha shook Ashton’s shoulders, demanding him for an answer.

"Sash, I don’t know where he is right now. Just let him be. Once he cools down, he will return home." Ashton patted her shoulder, consoling her.

Sasha was still troubled by Dominique’s actions. She felt like he was serious about leaving her.

’Damn it. I must do something. I can’t lose him.’ Sasha clenched her fists.

"Hey, forget about Dominique. Focus on your work first." Ashton wanted to cheer her up. He couldn’t bear to see her sad. "By the way, where is Athena? My Goddess?" He decided to change the topic.

Sasha’s face brightened up when she saw Athena and Lanny at the entrance. "They are here." she pointed her finger in their direction.

Ashton immediately turned around, following Sasha’s line of sight. Athena and Lanny waved at them as they recognized Ashton.

Ashton and Sasha quickly approached the two women, welcoming them.

"How’s your trip?" Sasha asked them.

"Just fine. This resort is easy to find." Lanny winked at her.

Meanwhile, Athena’s attention was focused on Ashton. She greeted him first.

"Oh, Mr. Davis, you are here. How have you been?" Athena let Sasha witness how happy she was upon seeing Ashton. Getting close to Ashton would help her lower Sasha’s guard down. She won’t treat her as a rival for Dominique’s attention and she won’t feel threatened by her anymore.

Ashton smiled shyly, scratching the back of his head. "You still remember me, Miss Athena. I feel so flattered."

"Of course. I won’t forget someone like you, Mr. Davis. Are you Sasha’s friend?"

"Yes, we are. We know each other!" Ashton promptly responded.

Athena nodded, flashing her charming smile. "I hope to see you more often."

"Y-Yes... I would love to." Ashton was a little bit overwhelmed. He didn’t expect Athena to pay so much attention to him. He was indeed lucky.

"Ahem! Ahem!" Sasha cleared her throat as she gazed at them meaningfully. "I’m sorry to interrupt but Athena needs to go to her dressing room and check her clothes for today’s photo shoot."

"Oh right. Talk to you later, Mr. Davis." Athena smiled and winked at him.

"Y-Yes...I’ll be waiting," Ashton responded with a faint smile.

"You owe me today!" Sasha whispered to him as they watched Athena and Lanny walking toward their assigned dressing room.

"Yes. I did owe you."

On the other hand, everyone was unaware that aside from Ashton, someone dropped by the place today.

Melody talked to someone secretly. "You must do it. Don’t worry, I got your back. I just need a minor accident to happen during the shoot." She passed an envelope filled with cash to one of the staff members.

"Just a little injury won’t hurt her," she remarked with a soft chuckle.

The staff nodded as he accepted the money. "Ma’am, will they investigate this? I don’t want to lose my job."

Melody patted his shoulder to reassure him. "As I said, I got your back. Besides, if someone gets injured, the company will compensate them and shoulder all the expenses. Just follow my instructions. I want to give this Bitch a lesson."

"Okay, Ma’am. I got it. Leave this to me," he said confidently.
