Chapter 89: Confrontation
Chapter 89: Confrontation
Timothy continued ignoring Sasha’s call. He even switched off his phone to avoid being interrupted by Sasha. He bonded with Oliver, talking about business and their plan to work with Athena.
"I’m really curious what she looks like without a mask," Oliver mumbled with his dreamy eyes.
He clinked glasses with Timothy who was also thinking of the same thing.
"Maybe we can also get an opportunity to see her real face. Besides, she looks so hot and stunning even with a mask. I love her body the most." Timothy winked as he chuckled huskily.
Oliver playfully punched his shoulder. "You pervert! You are indeed a playboy. Don’t tell me you love fooling around with your artists? I wouldn’t be surprised if you have slept with every beautiful artist in your company?"
Timothy emitted another soft chuckle. "Can you blame me? We’re young, full of energy. And hey, I’m still single. Unlike you, tied down with a fiancée. I’ve got the freedom to enjoy myself with any woman I choose."
Oliver shook his head helplessly. "I started to hate this engagement. I don’t like hot-tempered and scandalous women. Why do I feel like Melody is one of those women?"
"Tell your dad. Why does it have to be her? There are lots of successful women here in York City."
"Sigh. Because she is part of the Williams Family, one of the prestigious families here in York City. Our fathers are good friends." Oliver sighed deeply, frustration evident in his eyes.
Timothy just shrugged his shoulders. "Well, Melody is not bad either. She’s pretty and hot. But your only problem is her attitude. I can guess she’s a spoiled brat."
Oliver nodded before taking another sip of his whiskey. "Sigh. I’m so unlucky when it comes to women."
Timothy just patted his back to comfort his friend. "Don’t worry. Who knows you might meet an angel who will help you out with your problem."
"What I need right now is to seek my goddess’s forgiveness. I have offended them by bringing Melody. I don’t know how to fix this mess." Oliver tugged his hair tightly, looking problematic.
"Oh right! I remember. Athena signed a contract with the W Diamond Group. She will be attending the Product Launch as one of their endorsers! I will meet her there." Oliver found new hope.
Timothy was surprised when he heard that. "Oh, really? They managed to recruit her. How?"
"It’s their marketing director who personally negotiated with Athena’s manager," Oliver responded.
"Hmm. So it’s Sasha Smith." Timothy’s eyes gleamed and smiled meaningfully when he mentioned Sasha’s name. "No wonder my artist Minerva didn’t get the offer from W Diamond Group."
Oliver smiled sheepishly while giving him a peace sign. "Sorry, Bro. Initially, Director Smith recommended your artist, Minerva. It’s me who suggested doing the voting process since Chairman Alfonso wanted Athena."
Timothy gently smacked Oliver’s forehead. "You have to pay me for this. My artist lost a potential contract because of your suggestion."
"Ouch!" Oliver rubbed his forehead. "I’ll get you an invitation so that you can attend the product launch. You will meet Athena and her manager there."
"Good. That’s what I wanted to hear." Timothy was satisfied with Oliver’s proposition.
"Alright. Let’s call it a night. I have to go home." Timothy bade farewell to Oliver.
"Don’t forget to secure my invitation for the event." He reminded his friend before leaving the rooftop bar.
"Okay. I’ll talk to Uncle Alfonso." Oliver reassured him.
When Timothy left Oliver’s hotel, he switched on his phone. He found a reason to interact with Sasha again. Besides, he thought he could use her help to connect him with Athena and her manager.
[ Do you want to see me? Come to my place. I’ll be waiting for you there. ] Timothy messaged Sasha.
With a wide grin on his face, Timothy returned to his place, getting ready to meet Sasha.
*Half an hour later...*
Ding! Dong!
Sasha was now standing in front of his condo unit. Timothy was satisfied to see her. He wondered why she came tonight.
He opened the door for her and greeted Sasha. "Good evening, my lady–"
Pak!
His words were abruptly cut off with a hard slap from Sasha. Timothy was taken aback for a moment, trying to process what had just happened.
"Why did you slap me?" Timothy’s annoyance was evident as he frowned, rubbing his reddened cheek where the sting of her slap still lingered.
"You Bastard! Why did you pretend to be Mr. V!" Sasha snarled at him, throwing punches on his chest.
As Sasha’s fists flew towards him in a fury of anger, Timothy swiftly intercepted her arms, catching them mid-air with a firm grip.
"Stop making a scene here." Timothy gestured to the CCTV camera.
With a swift motion, he pulled her close, guiding her into his condo unit.
Sasha struggled against his hold, her breath coming in quick, ragged gasps as she tried to break free. But Timothy’s grasp was strong and unwavering, his determined gaze meeting hers.
"Stop fighting, Sasha," he urged, his voice firm yet gentle as he held her close. "Let’s talk this out calmly."
"How can I calm down?! You made me believe that you were Mr. V.! You deceived me!" Sasha was furious. She couldn’t forget the humiliation she got in front of Vladimir. It was Timothy’s fault.
This time Timothy pinned her against his door. "Don’t blame me, Sasha. It was you who made the first move that night. You willingly offered yourself to me while thinking I was him!"
Timothy held her wrists, pinning her arms above her head as he continued to press her body against his door. "Have you forgotten about it? Perhaps, do you want me to reenact what we did to refresh your memory?"
Sasha gasped when Timothy’s free hand began to explore her body, cupping her breast through her shirt.
"Fuck you, Jerk! Let go of me!" Sasha continued to struggle against his firm hold.
"Yeah. If that’s what you want then I’m gonna fuck you right here right then!" Timothy forcefully yanked her shirt to undress her.
