Athena and Lanny sat comfortably on the balcony, each holding a steaming cup of coffee which the aroma mingling with the fresh air.

"So how’s your stay in Fortuna Grande? Do you feel refreshed now?" Lanny asked her friend.

Athena nodded with a smile, her gaze wandering to the city skyline stretching out before them. "I had fun with my brother, celebrating the Lantern Festival and touring around the island. Fortuna Grande is a very nice island, a perfect place to unwind."

Lanny took a thoughtful sip of her coffee before asking another question. "Have you met her? What is your impression of her?" She failed to control her curiosity about Enzo’s new girlfriend.

Athena set her cup down, turning her attention back to her friend. "Lanny, before I answer, I want to hear something from you first. Were you affected after knowing my brother had a girlfriend? Did you get jealous?"

Lanny bobbed her head, the look in her eyes turning solemn. "I don’t want to admit it but... Yes, I felt a little bit jealous. He is off-limits now. How can I ask him to meet the end of our deal?"

Athena chuckled when she heard that. She gently patted Lanny’s back and said, "Honestly, Alice is not bad. She’s so sweet and caring. No wonder my brother fell in love with her. But... if you will ask me, I will still continue rooting for both of you."

Lanny grinned with gratitude as she leaned back, her eyes fixed on the sky. "Stop being biased. Don’t get me wrong, my dear friend. I’m not hoping to marry your brother. I simply wish for him to provide me with a male heir. That’s all I want from him."

Athena just smiled knowingly. "Alright. I won’t tease you with my brother. But I hope you will not avoid or ignore him once he visits us here."

"Of course. I am still his friend. By the way, Athena, let’s talk about business and our next move." Lanny reached into her bag, fingers searching for the familiar shape of her laptop. With a swift motion, she pulled it out, placing it on her lap as she switched the device on.

"I received several emails from various companies, expressing their intent and desire to collaborate and work with you." Lanny excitedly informed her.

Athena leaned closer to Lanny, taking a peek at her laptop. "Which companies?"

"Hmm. Let me see."

Lanny checked her emails thoroughly, filtering the top companies that wanted to sign an exclusive contract with Athena. Working with the top companies in York City would help Athena boost her popularity and earn more money.

"We have here... Lee Divine Fashion Co. a subsidiary of Lee Corporation, the premier fashion company in York City. It appears they are interested in having you as the featured model for their upcoming magazine issue, showcasing their latest apparel collection scheduled for release next month." Lanny was exhilarated to receive an offer from this top fashion company.

"Oh my goodness, even without seeing your face, they recognized you as model material with your stunning hourglass figure!" she exclaimed, playfully pinching Athena’s waist.

"Lanny, stop that. You are making me feel ticklish." Athena grabbed Lanny’s wrist to stop her.

Lanny continued giggling. "I’m sorry. I just feel proud of you!"

"Hmm. What are the other companies?" Athena asked her again.

"Hey, Athena! I think you also captured the attention of the renowned entertainment company, YJ Entertainment. They want to recruit you to be their artist, offering you to launch your Single Album! The President, Timothy Wilson, expressed his desire to meet you in person to discuss the offer."

Athena smiled when she heard that. "It’s not a bad offer, having a Single Album. I always dream of creating music that resonates with the hearts of people around the world."

Lanny nodded with a knowing smile. "Okay. Let’s consider this one. But guess what! I received another interesting email here."

"Jones International Hotels and Resorts want you to become their ambassador and serve as the face of their hotels and resorts. You are the hottest celebrity right now on Ye-Tube. They think your popularity can help them attract more clients and guests. This is Oliver’s company, your cousin’s fiancé."

Athena’s eyes lit up at her last remarks. "Accepting this offer will bring me closer to Oliver. Perhaps, we can use this opportunity to break off the engagement between Oliver and Melody. I can’t allow the Williams Family to be more powerful and influential after the union of these two families."

Lanny concurred, "Indeed, that sounds like a good plan. If you get closer to Oliver and gain the trust of the Jones family, we can easily instigate a conflict between the two families. Breaking off the engagement won’t be challenging. After all, this is merely a marriage of convenience."

"Okay. Lanny. We will prioritize this one. You can respond to their email and set a meeting appointment with them. I’ll leave this to you... my great manager!" Athena winked at her friend, confident with her managing and negotiating skills.

"Alright! This will be our priority."

The two ladies were clueless that aside from these three big companies, W Diamond Group was also considering a collaboration with Athena for their product launch. They hadn’t contacted Athena’s manager yet since the company was having an internal disagreement about whom to choose as their ultimate endorser.

Today, an emergency board meeting was called to address the matter. Twenty board members were present including the fifteen major stockholders of the company.

The spacious boardroom at W Diamond Group was filled with tension as the members gathered for an emergency meeting to decide on the product endorser for their upcoming launch. The members exchanged glances, each representing different departments and interests within the company.

In the lineup of contenders were Athena, the global sensation on Ye-tube, and Minerva, the superstar of YJ Entertainment. Before proceeding into the voting process, the two sides had the opportunity to present their proposal.

Sasha would stick with advocating for Minerva, providing reasons for her selection, while Bella was called upon to articulate the reasons supporting Athena as the ideal endorser.
