"What? Artificial Insemination? But why?" Athena couldn’t believe her ears.

"There is definitely wrong with the married couple. In four years of their marriage, they failed to produce a child. And now, Sasha is so desperate to have Dominique’s child so that he won’t divorce her." Gael truthfully shared his thoughts with Athena.

Athena fell silent for a moment. She recalled Dominique’s words when he said he didn’t love Sasha.

Maybe he was telling the truth. But she was confused as to why he married her despite the fact he didn’t love her.

After careful consideration, Athena spoke up. "Gael, can you stop it?" She held Gael’s hands tightly.

She was almost there, reaching her goal. She couldn’t let Sasha win.

"Are you asking me this because of your revenge or do you have another reason?" Gael wanted to know Athena’s real feelings.

"Of course, it’s for my revenge. Nothing more." Athena promptly responded.

Gael just stared at her for a long moment, trying to figure out if she was being true to her feelings. Part of him was afraid that Athena wanted to prevent Sasha from getting pregnant because she still had lingering feelings and affections toward Dominique.

After taking a deep breath, Gael nodded his head.

"Don’t worry. I will find a way to stop her scheme." He reassured her. He patted her shoulder.

Athena smiled when she heard that. "I know I can always count on you, Gael!"

"Will you visit him tomorrow?"

Athena was taken aback for a moment.

"It depends. If Aaron would want to see him, then I will accompany him," Athena responded.

"But Sasha is there, staying by his side. At this moment, she might be suspicious of Lanny. I don’t think it’s a good idea to visit him tomorrow."

Gael was worried that Sasha might be suspicious of Athena as well.

"I got this. Besides, this is what I want. She must feel anxious and wary because Dominique is seeing another woman behind her back. I want to torture her mentally. I know she won’t be at ease if there is a seed of doubt in her mind."

Athena smiled triumphantly. "She will be threatened and afraid thinking Dominique is having a secret affair."

"But if they will divorce, Sasha might demand for his company’s shares. Dominique might lose if they meet in the courthouse. He is at a disadvantage here." Gael was thinking about the property division of the two when they would be separated.

"No. I won’t let Sasha have her way. I must acquire Dominique’s property at all costs and leave him with nothing... not even a penny. I have proof of Sasha’s infidelity." Athena said confidently.

"Besides, Timothy is on my side. She slept not only with one guy. I will also use Ashton as a witness for Dominique. She can’t get away with this," she added.

"Okay. If you need help to gather more evidence, I will help you with that." Gael offered her some support.

"Thanks, Gael! You are the best!"

Gael gently stroked her hair. "Hmm. I am always here for you, Sabby."

"I know. That’s why I feel so lucky." After saying that, Athena hugged Gael.

Gael embraced her as well.

’Should I confess my feelings for her before it’s too late? But I’m afraid to ruin our friendship.’ Gael was still hesitant to express his affection toward Athena.

’No. This is not the right time. I don’t want to distract her. Her attention is focused on her revenge right now. She will not accept my feelings if I confess now.’

With those thoughts in mind, Gael had decided to keep his feelings for now. He would just focus on assisting and helping Athena with her revenge.

"Since Sasha has started doubting Dominique, I guess we have to move on to the next step of our plan." Athena suggested.

Gael glanced at her meaningfully. "What are you planning to do?"

"I will make her more anxious by sending her another package," Athena replied with a sly smirk.

"Okay. Do you want me to deliver it to the hospital? I will ask someone to give it to her." Gael volunteered to bring the package with him.

"Okay. Wait, I will just pack it."

Athena stood up. She was on her way to her room when she suddenly halted on her steps. She turned to look at Gael.

"Gael, I need you. There is something you must do for me." Athena’s face looked very serious.

"What is it? Just tell me. I’ll do anything for you."

"Can you preserve any evidence about Sasha’s plan? She is trying to do this without Dominique’s knowledge. I want him to know that Sasha is doing something without his consent. This will be another source of their conflict."

Gael liked Athena’s idea. "Sure. I can do that for you. Just leave it to me."

"Once Dominique recovers, I will reveal this to him." Athena couldn’t wait to see how Dominique would deal with Sasha once he learned about this.

"Got it, Sabby. I know what to do."

[ 9:00 pm: at the hospital...]

Dominique was still sound asleep. He hadn’t regained consciousness yet ever since he arrived at the hospital.

He had broken ribs and fractured leg. He wouldn’t be able to stand and walk properly in the coming days. Fortunately, his head injury wasn’t severe. He needed to rest for a month to recover completely.

Sasha stayed by his side, waiting for him to wake up.

It did not take long for someone to knock on the door of the private ward. Sasha stood up and strode toward the door.

When she opened the door, she was greeted by a nurse who was holding a brown envelope.

"Mrs. Smith, someone left this in the front lobby. It’s for you. I came to deliver this." The nurse handed over the brown envelope to Sasha.

Frowning in confusion, Sasha accepted the package. The nurse immediately left.

’Who sent this?’ Sasha pondered to herself as she returned to her seat, next to Dominique’s sickbed. There was no name of the sender in the package.

Sasha didn’t waste her time as she ripped the envelope open. Her heart sank instantly the moment she saw the contents of the mysterious package.

"What the fuck is this?!" She mumbled as her eyes scanned the printed photos of Dominique lying on the bed while hugging a woman.

He was half naked and the lower part of his body was only covered with a blanket. She couldn’t recognize the woman since her face wasn’t clear in the photo. Her side profile was only visible but it was blurry.

Sasha braced herself as she checked the other photos. Looking at the background, she could tell that the photos were taken inside a hotel.

"Damn it! Who is this fucking bitch!!!" Sasha screamed as she crumpled the photos in her hands.

She couldn’t believe what she was seeing right now. Dominique spent a night with an unknown woman in a hotel. He slept with her!

At that moment, a certain woman popped up in her mind– Lanny.

"Don’t tell me this woman is Lanny!!! I’m going to punish her! I’m going to kill her!"
