Chapter 220: Amusement Park

Weekend arrived.

"Mommy, faster! Get ready! We don’t want Daddy Enzo to wait for us!" Kimmy tugged Lanny’s hand.

Lanny was preparing their lunchbox for today’s trip.

"Don’t rush me. You don’t want to be hungry later. Besides, it is still early. The Amusement park will open in two hours." Lanny shook her head. Her daughter was very excited today.

"Where’s Aaron?"

"I’m here!" Aaron showed up, carrying his small backpack.

"Is Aunt Athena here?" he asked, his eyes scanning the house.

"Not yet. But she’s on the way." Lanny simply responded. She was done packing their food, putting them into the picnic basket.

Ding! Dong!

"Oh! That might be Aunt Athena!" Aaron ran toward the door.

"Aunt!" He exclaimed cheerfully upon seeing Athena. He immediately hugged her.

Athena smiled seeing how happy and excited Aaron was.

"Is everything set?" Athena asked them as she entered the unit.

"Hi, Aunt Athena! It’s good to see you." Kimmy approached her, hugging her.

"Same here, Sweety." Athena gently stroked Kimmy’s hair.

"Athena, come!" Lanny waved at her. When she reached her spot, Lanny immediately pulled her to the corner.

"Do you think this is a good idea? Dominique and Enzo will join us with the kids. I feel so awkward about this set-up." Lanny hesitated, thinking about backing out.

Athena sighed deeply. She also felt the same thing. But the moment she looked at Kimmy and Aaron, she didn’t have the heart to spoil their excitement.

"Let’s endure it for the kids," Athena softly mumbled. "They look so excited and happy about this. We don’t want to ruin their mood."

Lanny nodded in agreement. "You are right. If not for Kimmy’s persistence, I won’t agree to this."

"By the way, where is Dmitri?" Athena was surprised not to see Dmitri around.

"Oh. Dmitri and Vladimir were summoned by my father. I’m glad he did because we don’t have to explain to them why we are going to the amusement park without bringing them with us." Lanny giggled. She felt relieved that Miguel invited the two men to come over.

But little did she know, it was Kimmy who suggested to her grandfather to summon Dmitri and Vladimir, keeping them company. The old man didn’t hesitate to fulfill Kimmy’s request.

Since it was an invitation from Miguel, the two men couldn’t refuse.

"Mommy! Aunt Athena! Daddy Enzo is here!" Kimmy’s voice echoed inside the living room as she called Lanny and Athena’s attention. Enzo had just arrived.

"We are coming!" Lanny yelled back.

When they returned to the living room, Kimmy was already holding Enzo’s hand.

"Hi, Lanny and Athena! Shall we go?" Enzo greeted them with a warm smile.

"Alright! Let’s go!" Lanny responded.

The four of them headed to the amusement park. Athena just messaged Dominique to meet them there.

[ At Smith Family Mansion... ]

Sasha was drinking her coffee in the living room while waiting for Dominique to go downstairs.

Sasha narrowed her eyes the moment she saw Dominique descending the stairs.

’His secretary is not lying. If he is going to meet someone for an official business transaction today, then why is he just wearing casual clothes?’ Sasha’s suspicion intensified further.

"Babe, it’s too early. Are you going to meet Miss Song?" Sasha asked him.

"I’m going to meet her later. I have another business to attend to." Dominique simply responded.

"Okay, Babe. Good luck with your transaction today. I hope the ’business meeting’ will go smoothly." Sasha eyed him meaningfully.

Dominique just nodded as he headed out of the mansion. He was clueless that Sasha planned to secretly follow him.

’I’m going to find out who this woman is. Miss Song, just you wait! I won’t let anyone steal my husband.’ Sasha clenched her fists.

She just waited for a few minutes before she grabbed a taxi. She maintained a distance from Dominique’s car so that he wouldn’t notice he was being followed.

A few minutes later, at the Amusement Park.

Dominique finally arrived at his destination. He stepped out of the car and texted Athena.

Dominique: [ "I’m here. Where are you?" ]

He immediately received a message.

Athena: [ "We are here in the roller coaster booth. Just go here. We will wait for you." ]

After reading her message, Dominique proceeded to the main gate of the Amusement Park and paid his entrance fee.

Someone was watching him from a distance.

"Amusement Park?! What is he doing here?! Is this a date? Not a business meeting?!" Sasha couldn’t believe it. Her heart began to feel uneasy. She didn’t know what she was going to do if she found out Dominique was seeing a woman behind her back.

"Is Dominique cheating on me?! No way! This can’t be true." Sasha shook her head in disbelief. She was anxious. She hoped that her suspicion was wrong.

With a nervous heart, Sasha followed Dominique. She also entered the Amusement Park.

Dominique looked like he was searching for someone. Since it was the Weekend, the place was crowded.

Sasha made sure that she would keep her eyes on Dominique and not lose him in the crowd.

It did not take long when Dominique finally saw the Roller coaster booth. With large strides, Dominique walked toward the booth, excited to see Aaron and Athena.

Soon, a tiny voice called out cheerfully.

"Uncle Dom! We are here!" Aaron waved his hand while jumping.

Kimmy also followed his line of sight. ’Huh? That man. We had already met him in the mall.’ she remembered Dominique.

Dominique smiled faintly at Aaron. But he was surprised when he saw the people standing next to Aaron.

’They are also here.’ Dominique looked a bit disappointed.

Meanwhile, Sasha, who had been tailing Dominique, stood frozen in her spot when she recognized the woman whom Dominique was meeting here in the amusement park. That woman even brought two children with her.

"Damn! Lanny is Miss Song? I can’t be wrong. That woman is Lanny, Athena’s manager! Why is he meeting Lanny? Why her?"

Sasha gritted her teeth as she shot Lanny with a cold sharp glare. If only one look could kill, Lanny would be shot dead.

But unknown to her, aside from Lanny, Enzo and Athena were also there. They just went to buy ice cream for everyone.
