Ashton couldn’t believe that Athena agreed to date him exclusively.

"Athena, are you serious? Are you willing to date me and be my girlfriend? There are lots of men chasing after you." Ashton asked her again.

Athena reached out, caressing Ashton’s face. "Yes. I want to try. Because among them, you are the most genuine person I’ve known."

Despite her gentle smile, hidden her true feelings toward Ashton. She also hated this man. He was Dominique’s best friend, someone who turned a blind eye to Dominique and Sasha’s scheme.

She also wanted to get revenge on Ashton and this was all part of her plan. She would play the three of them. She would ruin their friendship.

"This is my special gift to you, Ashton. I hope you like it!" Athena added.

Ashton couldn’t contain his joy when he heard that. He stood up, hugging Athena.

"I promise. I’ll do my best to make you happy as your man. You won’t regret your decision, Athena."

Athena smirked slyly before breaking the hug. "Okay. Let’s go now. Sasha might be waiting for us already."

"Oh Yes! Let’s do that."

Ashton grabbed her hand as he gently guided her out of the house.

"Athena, is it okay with you to share this piece of good news with my friends, Sasha and Dominique?" Ashton consulted her as soon as they settled down inside his car.

Athena smiled inwardly. That was what she wanted. "Sure. Let’s inform them about our relationship. But can we keep this from my fans? For now, I can’t let my relationship be revealed in the public."

"Of course. We can do that. I don’t want to ruin your career just because of our relationship. We can keep this a secret for now, until you are ready." Ashton kissed the back of her palm.

After saying that, Ashton focused on driving. It took them half an hour to reach the Smith Mansion because of the traffic.

Dominique had just arrived when he noticed Ashton’s car at the gate. His expression turned grim when he saw Ashton holding Athena’s hand as they entered the mansion. He was jealous. He didn’t want other men holding Athena like that.

"Oh Ashton, you are here. Come!" Sasha was the first one who greeted Ashton. Then she paused and stared at Athena.

"Athena, is that you? You are not wearing a mask. You finally revealed your real face to me." Sasha didn’t expect this. Then her eyes fell on their entangled hands.

"Yes. There is no need to hide my face. You have become my friend. And Ashton is very close to you and your husband." Athena explained to Sasha.

At first, Sasha was threatened and slightly insecure by Athena’s beauty. She had to admit that she had never imagined that Athena was a gorgeous woman since she had been hiding her face behind her mask.

They were still talking when Dominique joined them. Sasha immediately ran into him, giving him a peck on his cheek. She did it to appear like a loving couple in front of Athena.

"Babe, our visitors are here." Sasha anchored her arms around his elbow, keeping Dominique close to her. It was her way of telling Athena that Dominique was off-limits.

"And this woman is Athena. She removed her mask, acknowledging our friendship." Sasha said to Dominique.

Sasha had no idea that Dominique had already seen Athena’s real face. She thought only Ashton knew Athena’s face because she believed that Ashton was the one who spent the night with Athena after winning the bid.

Dominique didn’t show any reaction. He just nodded in response. Sasha felt so happy with Dominique’s nonchalant reaction.

’Hmm. I guess even Athena’s beauty doesn’t have any effects on my husband.’ She smiled triumphantly.

Meanwhile, Ashton excitedly raised their entangled hands. He couldn’t wait to tell them the good news.

"Guess what! I have an announcement to make!" Ashton blurted out, making Sasha and Dominique look at him with interest.

Ashton turned to Athena with his loving eyes. "Athena and I are now officially dating!"

Sasha gasped the moment she heard that while Dominique frowned, clenching his fist. He couldn’t hide the displeasure he felt after hearing Ashton’s announcement.

"Oh my gosh! Is that true?" Sasha asked them for confirmation, her face lighting up with relief.

Athena nodded with a smile. "Yes, it’s true."

"I was just as surprised when Athena agreed to date me," Ashton said, chuckling. "Can you pinch me? Am I still dreaming?"

Dominique’s expression was unreadable, a storm of jealousy brewing behind his eyes. He stared at Athena with a sharp gaze, itching to ask her why she got involved with Ashton. But he couldn’t voice his thoughts now, not with Sasha and Ashton present.

Sasha, oblivious to Dominique’s inner turmoil, clapped her hands together. "Now, this calls for a double celebration! I’m so happy for both of you!"

Ashton smiled sheepishly, scratching his face. "Yeah, thank you. But Athena and I have a request."

"Oh, sure, just tell us," Sasha said eagerly, her focus entirely on Athena and Ashton. She failed to notice the icy aura emanating from the man standing next to her.

Ashton glanced at Athena, who gave a slight nod of encouragement. He took a deep breath and continued, "We want to keep our relationship private. We don’t want to reveal this in public, especially if this might affect Athena’s singing career. Her fans will be heartbroken once they find out she is already in a relationship."

Sasha beamed, her enthusiasm unwavering. "Of course! You have our full support. We won’t tell anyone right, Babe?" She turned to Dominique.

Dominique forced a tight-lipped smile, his jaw clenched. "Yes, wonderful news," he echoed, though his eyes betrayed his true feelings. "We will keep this private."

Athena, sensing Dominique’s dark mood, reached out and gently squeezed Ashton’s hand. "We just want everyone to be on the same page," she said, her tone soothing.

"Absolutely," Sasha agreed, her excitement spilling over. "This is a new beginning for all of us. Let’s make tonight memorable."

Ashton glanced at Dominique, hoping for some sign of acceptance. Dominique’s eyes flickered, and he gave a curt nod. "Let’s get inside now," he said, though his voice carried an undercurrent of something darker.

Athena met Dominique’s gaze, a silent plea for understanding in her eyes. He held her stare for a moment, then looked away, his emotions a tangled mess he couldn’t quite unravel in front of everyone.
