His Mistress is His Ex-Wife -
Chapter 10: Unmask
Chapter 10: Unmask
"Let’s be honest with one another, Mr. Smith. I heard you are a married man. And you are not even my fan. Why do you want to see my face?" Sabrina confronted him with a direct question.
She delicately twirled her wine glass between her fingers as she waited for his response, her eyes not leaving Dominique’s face.
Dominique met her gaze and replied, " Because your voice reminds me of someone... my ex-wife."
"Cough! Cough!" Sabrina choked on her saliva. ’Wow. He is so damn honest.’
Sabrina smiled sweetly, keeping her composure.
"Really? This is weird. You haven’t gotten over her yet? I thought you were happily married to your current wife. What’s her name again?" she asked, feigning ignorance.
"Sabrina," he replied, his penetrating stare seemed to strip away every layer of deception behind her mask. He was clearly testing her, assessing her reaction.
"Eh? I mean your current wife." Sabrina chuckled, hiding the sarcasm in her voice.
’He is a hypocrite. How dare he utter my name!’ She cursed him inwardly.
Meanwhile, Dominique couldn’t stop comparing Athena to Sabrina. Even the sound of her laughter reminded him of Sabrina, including her simple gestures and mannerisms.
The more they interacted with each other, the more Dominique was convinced she was Sabrina.
"Can you remove your mask now?" Dominique requested her.
However, Sabrina just let out a soft giggle. "You are so impatient, Mr. Smith." She put her wine glass down as she stood up from her seat.
’Not so fast, Dom. I’m not yet done playing with you.’ Sabrina’s lips curled up into a playful smile as she strode towards him.
She stopped behind his chair, leaning in so her chin rested on his right shoulder, her hand brushing against his sturdy chest. The intoxicating sweetness of her scent enveloped him, clouding his rationality.
"You just spent five hundred million to be with me..." she paused, bringing her lips closer to his right ear. "A happily married man talking to a stranger who reminds him of his ex-wife. You are playing with fire, Mr. Smith," she whispered sensually, her soft lips lightly grazing his earlobe.
Dominique narrowed his eyes at her words. He wanted to argue and justify his action, but his words were caught in his throat because of a certain distraction.
Their closeness was making him feel hot. And surprisingly, his body was reacting to her. Many women had tried to seduce him and get intimate with him but he had never been affected quite like this before.
’Is it because of her voice? I am seeing Sabrina in her,’ Dominique pondered to himself.
The moment he witnessed Sabrina jump off the bridge five years ago, her death altered the course of his life.
Despite any intimacy a woman offered him, he found himself unable to respond physically. His sexual desire had vanished. That might be his punishment for his guilty conscience.
And now, this mysterious woman unexpectedly stirred his burning desire effortlessly, awakening a hunger he hadn’t felt in years.
Feeling the need to stop her, Dominique grabbed her wrist, pulling her towards him. She ended up sitting on his lap.
"Oops! Wrong move, Mr. Smith!" She teased him.
This time she used her other hand to pull his necktie, anchoring herself firmly on his lap. Straddling him now, her rounded soft breasts were almost visible in the plunging neckline of her silk robe.
Her beautiful twin peaks seemed like inviting and tempting Dominique to touch and kiss them. As she settled into her position, a playful glint danced in her eyes.
As if he was hypnotized by her allure, Dominique instinctively released her grip on her wrist, gently resting his arms around her back and at the side of her waist, securing her in his arms.
That was her cue. Sabrina seized the opportunity that Dominique was not resisting. She cupped his face, capturing his lips with her own lips.
To her surprise, Dominique became more aggressive, kissing her back fervently. He nibbled on her lower lip, sucking and biting it hungrily.
It did not take long before his tongue took action as well, probing her lips apart and delving inside her mouth, exploring and savoring her essence.
’Damn! He is still a great kisser.’ Sabrina screamed in her mind. ’I think we have recorded enough. I have to stop now before I end up being carried away.’ She reminded herself cautiously, aware of the hidden camera that was recording them right now.
Breaking free from his passionate kiss, Sabrina distanced her face away from him. Both of them were still catching their breaths.
As he regained his focus, Dominique’s hand reached out, gently removing her mask from her face. It was too late for Sabrina to stop him.
Soon, her true face was revealed to Dominique. He froze on his chair, his eyes filled with disbelief and confusion.
"You are not her... You are not Sabrina!" Dominique uttered through his gritted teeth.
She could hear the disappointment in his cold voice.
Sabrina sneered at him and replied, "Of course. I’m not Sabrina. Because I’m Athena."
Dominique gently pushed her off his lap. As her face was unveiled to him, he felt as though a bucket of cold water had been poured over his body. Except for her amber eyes, she bore no resemblance to Sabrina’s face.
Dominique hastily rose from his seat, taking his leave. However, the moment he stood up, a sudden wave of dizziness overwhelmed him. He sank back into his seat, pressing his fingertips against his temples as a sensation of lightheadedness washed over him.
He uttered Sabrina’s name softly before he completely passed out. The drug she mixed in his wine finally took effect.
Meanwhile, Sabrina observed the man she despised the most, her emotions in turmoil. She had sacrificed a lot to reach this moment, even altering her appearance to adopt a new identity before coming back here.
’I’ll break you little by little. I’ll make you feel my pain. I hate you, Dominique.’
