His Mafia Prince
Chapter 46: You’re Crazy

Chapter 46: You’re Crazy

(TYLER)

"Tyler," Sasha rushes out of the car and perches beside me, rubbing my back, and hovering. "Are you okay?"

I shake my head. "No." I shut my eyes tight, trying to not pass out.

"What the hell is happening.?" He asks. "You looked fine a few minutes ago. Is it the baby?"

"I don’t know. Maybe."

"What else could be the problem?"

I close my eyes. Stress is eating me from the inside because I have no idea what to do. I’m terrified of what might happen when he learns the truth. I can’t tell him about me and Angelo. I’m terrified because Angelo might take advantage and begin to use me to try and pull him down. Those two loathe each other, and now I’m trapped between them. I feel like a pawn in their game.

They’re both selfish and are using me. Neither one of them cares what happens to me while they play their game.

"I want to go home. I don’t want to be here anymore." I plead, tears already filling my eyes. "Please, Sasha. I just want to go home. Let me go home. Please."

"I’m taking you home." He says, looking bewildered.

"No. Not your mansion. I mean my old life back at the camp. I... I don’t want to be your omega. Please, let me leave. I don’t want to be in your life."

His features harden. "What the fuck do you mean you want to leave? You’re crazy. Today is the most important day, Tyler. We are either pulling this or we can’t."

I turn my face to him. Desperation eats at me as I clutch his arm, digging my nails deep in it. "That’s it, Sasha. I don’t think I can pull this. I can’t."

"Why won’t you just tell me what the hell is going on, Tyler?" he seems out of patience. "You were fine, what happened?"

I laugh. "Fine? Sasha, I’ve never been fine ever since I met you."

"Is it your hormones ruling you now?"

"No. No hormones are ruling me. I’m telling you what I want." I hiss. "I can’t be here anymore I need to go."

"Are you crazy, Tyler?" he heaves. "You don’t get to leave now. This is the time we’ve all been waiting for, grow the fuck up."

I rake my shaky hands in my hair. "Once Angelo sees the mark I can go, right? I... I will stay for a few days then I’ll leave, right? You’ll let me leave then?"

"What?" he exclaims and his face turns red. His eyes become dark.

"They won’t care. Nobody will. I know they don’t care about me that much. They’ll just have to meet me then it will all be over. None of them will even care that I’m gone." I’m in a panic mode and I can’t seem to control the words as they tumble out of my mouth. "I... I mean, you did what they wanted, right? You can tell them I... I ran away. Or that I got sick. Hell, you can tell them anything. I have to go."

"Okay. That’s it, Tyler. You’re crazy." He shakes his head

"No... no, no, just listen to me, okay?" I lean closer to him. "Just give me money for the abortion and I’ll be on my way. For good. I won’t bother you again, I’ll be out of your hair. See... you said you’d give me any amount if I accepted your mark. That’s all I want. Money." I exhale shakily. "You really don’t want me here though, do you? What would it matter if I go away?"

"And what kind of a leader would I be if my own omega ran away from me? Do you want me to lose my men’s respect?"

I shake my head vigorously. "You must see this, Sasha. I’m not cut to be your omega." My gut is churning while I watch his face shift into a range of emotions.

He exhales, looking defeated. "What’s the problem, Tyler? What changed?" his gaze is piercing. "Where’s the omega who begged me to claim him? I’m sorry if you feel bad Tyler but you pushed me. You begged me. I only wanted to give you the bite but you, you pushed for more."

"I...I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that. It was a mistake."

He closes his eyes and exhales harshly, his hands balling into fists. "I could strangle you right now, Tyler. Don’t fuck with me."

I keep my head down. "Sasha I’m not...I’m not trying to mess things up for you. I just want to go home. I thought I couldn’t do this, I... I can’t."

"Why are you doing this now? Why so suddenly? He spreads his palms to his side, his eyes narrowing on me. "This all started when you met Angelo. What’d he do to you? What did he tell you? Why don’t you tell me why he did that upset you this much?"

"He didn’t do anything," I yell.

He narrows his eyes. I can tell by how he is looking at me that he doesn’t believe me. That much is evident. "You begged me, Tyler," his voice is low. "You begged me to claim you. Why did you make me do that when you knew you’d just want to run away?"

"You forced me to be here. I didn’t want to." I’m on the verge of hyperventilating.

He blinks at me repeatedly. "Yes, I did, but that was back then. That was in the beginning. That’s not what happened earlier today, Tyler. That wasn’t me forcing you. You begged me, literally.

I feel guilty for making him gamble with what it is that could possibly make me react like this. He is bewildered. But then why should care about his pain? He never cared about mine. But I’m not him. I’m not a nonchalant psychopath like he is.

"I shouldn’t have asked for more. It was a mistake, Sasha. Let’s just forget it happened. Okay?"

He laughs hard, which I find menacing, to be honest. "No, Tyler. I can’t just forget I gave you my bite and claimed you. You begged me to, and I claimed you. Officially."

"But this was just temporary. You told me that yourself." I implore, hoping my soft voice softens him inside and that he can change his mind. I really hope he does, because if he doesn’t, I’m cooked.

"Yes, I did. But it’s not the same now." He stands up, obviously fed up with me. He glowers at me."Everything changed."

"What?" my eyes go wide.

Of course, I’ve grown used to him changing his stance whenever he sees fit, not caring whether or not it affects me, but I can’t take that now. I can’t stay just because he wants me to. I’ll go full-on crazy if I have to share space with him and Angelo. I don’t know how I’ll handle being around them both with this grave secret eating at me. I could try, knowing it would never work anyway. That doesn’t mean I want to try though. I want to go. Home.

"You’re not going anywhere, Tyler." His eyes glower with raw possessiveness. "Not now, not ever."
