Chapter 1671: Chapter 415: KOTOS

"KOTOS!!"

"Boom!"

With a rumbling, muffled roar and a tremendous impact, a massive figure leapt down from Leviathan, crashing heavily onto the tail end of the Keiform Flight Land, an area connected to the Hell Formula.

That area originally belonged to the outer walls of the Black Prison Castle. In a previous intense tectonic upheaval, the walls were torn apart, revealing a huge gap that led down to the inner fort castle, forming a triangular wedge intrusion—the Mist transporting four great demon ships now permeated the skies above the Keiform Flight Land.

The Divination Group guarding the ancient castle dispatched hundreds of wizards adept in arrays, gathering at the tail end of the Keiform Flight Land, intending to use magic to summon a wall and then temporarily construct a magic circle to trap the four great demon ships that intruded into the Black Prison Castle—shut the door and strike the dogs.

The colossal silhouette descending from the sky happened to land at the tail end of the Keiform Flight Land, pressing onto the enormous wall that had been half-summoned by magic.

Rumble!!

The overwhelming potential energy crushed the wall like dry wood, rolling up dust several meters high.

Nearly a hundred elite registered wizards invoking summons were repelled by magic power backlash, spewing blood in unison, while the fractured sections of the outer fort walls instantly descended into chaos.

"Restricting South Mountain, Maintaining Rock-like Firmness!"

"Yin Qi Lei, stands before this city!"

"Uncle in the Bush, fire spreads!"

"Heaven sends prevention, maintains its advantage!"

"Boiling spring torrent!"

"Walk Hesitant!"

"I Ma Hui Tui!"

Hundreds of spells of different effects and colors fell from the fracture in the wall onto the massive silhouette: Guarding Spell, Thunder Curse, Fire Curse, Clear Spring Spell, High Tier Binding Spell, Soft Leg Curse, Dizziness Curse, among others.

"KOTOS!!!" The intimidating roar emerged amidst the rising dust, as if those spells were just tickling it.

When the dust was suppressed by the Clear Spring Spell, the enormous silhouette finally appeared before the wizards.

It was a bizarre giant with more than a dozen heads and dozens of arms, nearly a hundred meters tall, standing on the fractured wall base, almost level-eyed with the wizards on both sides.

"KOTOS!!"

The giant’s heads simultaneously rose, roaring skyward once more, seemingly casting a powerful spell. Its dozens of arms clustered on either side, resisting the walls slowly closing under the influence of magic, while two arms held a thick wooden staff.

On the walls, the wizards attempting to repair the gaps sang spells in unison; in the gaps, the giant’s many heads bellowed "KOTOS," forcibly resisting the closing walls.

Crack.

Crack-crack.

The fractured wall continuously emitted unsettling sounds—the sounds of bricks shattering under the power struggle between the giant and wizards.

"KOTOS, born of the Otherworld giant in the Olympus World, due to its immense strength and beast-like instinctive wisdom, caused significant trouble for the New World exploration, hence hunted multiple times by over a dozen large hunting teams... I thought they were extinct, but unexpectedly, one can still be seen here."

Atop the highest tower of the outer fort, Silent Souls stood at the wall’s edge, overlooking the giant heads close at hand, his tone carrying a hint of surprise:

"...These big ones are less intelligent than the Fathers and Titans in the reserves now, not protected by the Wizard’s Codex, but their bloodline is far superior to giants like Mountain Giants... truly an admirable masterpiece of nature!"

William Tapott squinted, eyeing the Ghost Tribe’s Upper House Member, who’d fallen into a frenzy over ’high-quality experimental material,’ wanting to remind him that KOTOS wasn’t easy to provoke.

But considering Silent Souls was a seasoned Great Wizard while he was merely a ’quasi-tier’ Great Wizard, it was as though he lacked the confidence to issue such a reminder.

Su Shijun, however, noticed Gongsun Bing at the outermost, tilting his head slightly.

The witch, immensely sensitive to magical fluctuations, sensed something amiss, her fox tail behind her swaying with surprise: "You’re planning to deal with this giant?"

As the strongest and oldest Upper House Member in the Moon Council, Gongsun Bing was always reticent but wielded immense influence across the council. Aside from Silent Souls, other succeeding council members held great respect for this elder member of the Zombie Clan.

His words immediately drew the attention of the other three Upper House Members.

"Isn’t it a bit early?" Milton Karen muttered, stealing a glance at the copper-armored zombie, whispering softly: "The nine bigwigs outside haven’t truly acted yet... are we stealing the show by starting now?"

With vampires being conservative, Mister Wolfman naturally chose the aggressive side.

"KOTOS has already intruded right under our noses, should we let it continue its rampage?" William pulled off his cloak, rolled up his sleeves, bared his pale fangs, eyes gleaming with primal light: "...I feel its heads are beautiful, could pickle two and hang them at the castle entrance as helmets for the gargoyles guarding the door!"

Gongsun Bing tilted his head, sparing the young werewolf a glance, his gaze showed some appreciation.

"Alright," he nodded slightly: "Then it’s yours."

"What?!" William was about to dash out gleefully, but upon hearing this, his expression froze, and his wild, unbridled nature instantly vanished: "...And you?"

Just from the momentum and power, the KOTOS outside had reached the standards of a High Tier Great Wizard.

Although ambitious, William wasn’t so blinded by battle enthusiasm that he believed he could solo this behemoth; his earlier actions were merely to pick up leftovers behind Gongsun Bing.

Milton’s head shook under his cloak, shoulders quivering violently, clearly laughing to himself.

"Me?" Gongsun Bing paid no attention to others’ expressions, turning to focus beyond the outer fort, at the Giant Beast at the end of the Hell Formula, his breathing becoming long and powerful:

"Originally, I planned to team up with Captain Iceberg, but since it entered the main castle, naturally, the Starry Sky’s President Sun will handle it... in that case, I’ll try out the power of the legendary Dark Beast!"

Leviathan, Ziz, Behemoth, renowned as the three Dark Giants in the wizard world, powerful magical beasts, equal to elite Great Wizard tier, nearly on par with legends.

Despite long imprisonment in the Black Prison, Behemoth maintained Great Wizard-level combat power, growing skillful in wielding power.

Indeed, a fitting opponent for the copper-armored zombie, who pursued the ultimate limits of power.

But for the werewolf Upper House Member who had yet to advance as a Great Wizard, the reality was less appealing—being a rival, he couldn’t seek Milton’s help; men’s dignity prohibited him from asking assistance from Su Shijun either.

Thus, William finally turned hopefully toward Silent Souls.

"Hold on," the Ghost Tribe Upper House Member’s eyes carried a trace of jest, offering comfort: "No hurry, no hurry... let’s see what this giant can accomplish first."
