Chapter 363: Chapter 233 Snow Woman Was Abandoned (Additional Chapter for Dongfang Wufei’s Reward)

Hiss...

Diaberlic’s body began to shiver uncontrollably.

It had been manageable until that statement, but upon hearing it, Diaberlic became even more certain of the fact that his future princess had been defiled by a human male ahead of time.

His frame trembled without restraint, his already unremarkable face completely twisted in horror, resembling an evil ghost, as he let out a series of weird, distorted roars from his throat.

Seeing Helois with her face flushed crimson only fueled his anger.

Was she happy about Qin Chu’s compliments?

Shameless creature.

With an indifferent glance at Helois, Diaberlic spoke in an icy voice that was cold to the extreme, "Helois, don’t forget, you have already signed a contract with me. In this lifetime, I will forever be your master. It’s best not to even think about doing anything inappropriate."

Helois’s pretty face turned pale; she wanted to explain, but the Prince clearly had no desire to listen.

Huff... huff... huff...

Diaberlic possessed the brutal aspect of a demon.

But compared to Edrich, he had much more control over his emotions.

He couldn’t lose control; all this was the Hero deliberately provoking him—once he completely succumbed to fury, he would give his adversary an opportunity.

Speaking of which, the Hero’s strength was truly surprising. Although not long in this world and despite being ambushed, the fact that he could kill him with one move was an outrageous talent.

Diaberlic’s eyes narrowed; the existence of the Hero was the most terrifying threat for demons.

He scanned his surroundings.

The members still able to fight included Helois and Iyeta; there were six, and these six members were also the most powerful among the eleven demons.

In addition, with himself at full strength, seven against two.

The advantage is mine.

The Hero was strong, but Diaberlic was equally confident in his own abilities. As long as he wasn’t ambushed, he could surely capture the Hero.

This poor Hero, perhaps still dreaming of defeating him in one move, had no idea that he could resurrect.

The only concern was that short woman.

Wrapped in chains, emanating weirdness.

There were faint pulses of energy diffusing from her, making it impossible to accurately judge her actual strength.

But, she certainly couldn’t match his level; it should not be a problem for Helois and the other six to take down this woman.

The plan to seize the core energy of the Fiery Flame Witch seemed to have failed, but if he could kill the Hero here, although it wouldn’t compare to the life he lost, it would still be a decent outcome.

Diaberlic made a sign with his eyes to the few demons still able to fight around him; these were his trusted aides who had followed Diaberlic for many years, and a single look was enough for them to immediately understand the Prince’s intention.

The Snow Woman quickly reined in her chaotic thoughts, her cheeks once again regaining their icy pallor and fairness, as she and her companions spread out in a fan shape, closing in on Qin Chu and Antia at the entrance.

The calmed womb of the mountain began to fluctuate once more.

However, whether it was Qin Chu, Diaberlic, or those demons, all had overlooked another formidable presence within this very mountain.

The Fiery Flame Witch.

In the sky, that ball of flame continued to churn violently, the accumulating energy growing stronger and stronger.

Just as the atmosphere on the ground became increasingly tense and oppressive, and it seemed a conflict was about to erupt any moment, the scorching ball of flame suddenly plummeted to the ground from the sky.

It was an assault containing all the energy of the now insane Fiery Flame Witch.

An indiscriminate attack.

Boom, boom, boom...

The moment the fiery flame crashed onto the ground, the earth unleashed a startling roar.

This mountain range, already battered and pushed to its limits, could no longer hold and collapsed thunderously.

The cave entrance behind Qin Chu was instantaneously sealed by tumbling boulders, the ground fissured beneath them, and a mass of crimson flame surged up, engulfing both Qin Chu and Antia.

From the outside, the scene was even more dramatic—mountain peaks erupted like volcanos, huge columns of fire shooting into the sky.

The searing magma, along with falling boulders, tumbled down toward the base of the mountain.

The rolling black smoke had obscured everything, the scene was akin to the end of the world.

Inside the belly of the mountain, the situation was just as dire.

The vast cavern was filled with spouting pillars of fire; streams of intense flames writhed like massive pythons, seeking prey to devour.

One by one, powerful demons in the belly of the mountain frantically dodged, and if by misfortune entangled by the fire-python formed by the flames, they would be instantly dragged into the abyss filled with crimson magma.

Even though these demons were strong, at this moment they could not help emitting bursts of terrified roars.

Suddenly, Diaberlic heard a scream of terror, and turning his head, he saw it was the Snow Woman Helois.

A pair of delicate and slender legs had already been entwined by a massive Fire Python that was connected deep to the ground; its strength was astonishing, and Helois’ body uncontrollably plummeted downward, about to be consumed by the flames below. Diaberlic gritted his teeth, rushed over, grabbed Helois’ slender arm, and attempted to pull her from the clutches of the Fire Python.

As expected of Diaberlic, his formidable strength was on full display at that moment.

Even though the Fire Python’s strength was linked to the core of the earth, immovable as mountains, Diaberlic managed to stabilize Helois’ body for a moment.

His face was stern, his eyes wide open.

Seeing Helois in pain, a dark wind blade emerged in his palm, preparing to sever the Fire Python.

But just then, with a buzz, another Fire Python suddenly shot out, its huge body snaking capriciously in mid-air, coiling towards Diaberlic.

The crimson firelight reflected in the Prince’s pupils, flickering.

At that moment, his face seemed to contort with distortion.

He didn’t know what the situation was like below, unable to judge whether his strength would allow him to survive in that scorching lava.

Just as the Fire Python was about to wrap around Diaberlic, he suddenly let out a long breath...

A hint of panic and fear surfaced on the face of the Snow Woman Helois, mixed with a sense of relief.

The next second...

Diaberlic released Helois’s slender wrist.

The Snow Woman’s icy body was engulfed by the raging flames.

Meanwhile, Edrich’s body ascended swiftly, his form trailed by intense winds and black mist, as he punched upward directly at the boulders piled above his head.

It was a punch with all his might!

With a thunderous crash, the collapsing boulders were forcefully pierced through by Edrich, creating a hole through which the remaining Demons with fighting capacity rushed out one after another.

Floating in the sky, he looked down at the mountain range that had completely collapsed, his expression extremely grave.

"Prince, what do we do now?" A member of the Winged People asked Diaberlic.

"Wait,"

Diaberlic replied quietly.

His expression was grim to the extreme.

His mind kept replaying the image of Helois being devoured by the flames, her beautiful face tinged with sadness and resignation.

Diaberlic looked down at his palm, noting the bareness of his fingers.

His rebirth had involved coalescing a new body, as his original body had been utterly shattered; the whereabouts of the two rings were unknown.

Those two rings represented his covenants with Helois and Iyeta; the Snow Woman Clan and the Blood Elf Clan had placed all their bets on him long ago, offering the most beautiful girls from their tribes to him and signing a master-servant contract with him.

As long as those two rings were in place, neither Helois nor Iyeta could refuse his commands.

He shook his head vigorously. Helois was a Snow Woman, with no chance of surviving once engulfed by such flames—she was doomed.

Whether he had the rings or not didn’t matter anymore.

The problem was the ring of Iyeta. Without that ring, he couldn’t control the Blood Elves freely.

But it probably wasn’t a big issue.

Iyeta had always been obedient to him; even without the ring, manipulating her shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

The real matter of importance now was the Second Generation Brave Warrior, Qin Chu.

The Hero was very strong, and Diaberlic couldn’t be sure if he had truly perished.

...

The Snow Woman’s body was submerged in molten rock.

Helois could feel her entire surroundings enveloped by the Crimson lava.

The scorching sensation was agonizing.

She hadn’t died yet. Just as she was engulfed, a gentle light separated the surrounding lava, granting her a brief respite.

With all her magical powers, she formed an Ice Shield, resisting the waves of heat. She wanted to break free from the lava but was utterly unable to do so. As the white light faded, the searing lava had wholly surrounded her; she didn’t even have the strength to move her arms.

The searing heat rapidly depleted the magic energy within her.

The layers of ice around her body grew thinner and thinner.

And her body, she didn’t know how long it had sunk, like an abyss that could never be reached.

When the magic energy was exhausted, the lava surrounding her would rush in and consume her to the bone.

Her life, her consciousness, everything she cared for, would end.

The magic energy was dwindling.

The feeling of waiting for death was not pleasant.

Every minute, every second, was a torment that could shatter one’s will.

She would have preferred death to come sooner, rather than endure the torture of waiting to die.

Finally... the Ice Shield around her had become so thin that it was at its limit.

Unable to withstand the onslaught of the lava anymore, it shattered with a crack.

Helois shut her eyes tight, waiting for the moment of agony... But the pain didn’t come, and it felt like she had finally passed through the thick, viscous layer of lava, her body suddenly free-falling towards whatever was below.

It didn’t take long.

Splosh!

Helois landed heavily on something hard.

Her bottom hurt from the fall.

She wanted to adjust her posture, but she simply had no strength left.

Struggling, she got up from the ground, grimacing and groaning in pain.

Confused, she looked up and realized the lava was still flowing overhead, like a Crimson river, but an invisible barrier prevented the lava from invading the space below.

Although she didn’t understand how it happened, it seemed she wouldn’t have to die, at least for the moment?

Gently patting her ample chest, the Snow Woman took a long breath of relief.

Suddenly, unbidden, the image of Diaberlic scolding her and letting go of her wrist came to mind. Tears welled up, and two sparkling droplets rolled down her fair cheeks.

She had been abandoned, after all.
