In the testing process, he found issues, made adjustments based on the issues observed, and repeated this process. Qi Tian carried out dozens of adjustments large and small for over a month, finally creating a Thirty-six Jindan Core Array that he was relatively pleased with and believed had a smaller chance of having issues.

He asked Prince Zhao to wait outside of the array while he walked in. In each position where a Gold Core was needed, he squatted down and placed a prepared Gold Core.

Qi Tian had specifically processed these Gold Cores, each wrapped in a layer of a special treasure known as ‘Dan Yi’ that he had bought from Wanjie City. This special material could isolate any external prying into the Gold Cores while not interfering with the power release from within. It was uncommon but highly useful for his needs.

Qi Tian used the Dan Yi mainly to prevent Gao Jinmei and others from getting any emotional uprisings at seeing him use so many Gold Cores. Also, using the Dan Yi could prevent any incidental exposure. The place he had chosen to set up the arrays was not too desolate. If someone passed by and noticed, word might get out. In this regard, any potential risks were best avoided.

After he placed all the Gold Cores, Qi Tian stepped out of the array for Prince Zhao to step in. He then activated the Thirty-Six Jindan Core Array. Even though he had the son of Prince Zhao under control, he knew that the legitimacy brought about by the son wouldn’t be much compared to that of Prince Zhao. Furthermore, the son was too young, and if he became the imperial grandson, there would be too many uncertainties in the future. A slight carelessness could push the entire Great Zhao Nation into abyss of war, which was not the result Qi Tian wanted to see.

Unless Qi Tian could stay in the Great Zhao Nation until the imperial grandson came of age, only then could he possibly prevent a civil war from breaking out. However, that would mean Qi Tian would have to spend quite a few years in the Great Zhao Nation, which was not what he wanted.
