Chapter 193: Chapter 0187: Just keep hitting hard downwards_2 Chapter 193: Chapter 0187: Just keep hitting hard downwards_2 Qi Tian slammed into it with a thud, emitting a dull explosion. Runes circulated on the wall of light, causing it to sway wildly, but it did not shatter.

From behind the light wall, Gao Han burst into laughter. “Qi Tian, this is all you’ve got. You thought I didn’t know about your penchant for high-speed ambush? I saw everything clearly when you were dueling on the Life and Death stage. I’ve figured out all of your tricks. Now that I’ve blocked you, let’s see how you can attack me!”

“Chen, this is unfair, isn’t it?” Luo Xia lashed out angrily. “Gao Han’s your disciple, but you shouldn’t be so biased towards him. You even gave him a middle-grade talisman, the Golden Wall Talisman. Given Gao Han’s capabilities, it is clear that he would be unable to activate it himself. You must have helped him. What difference does this make from you personally dueling Qi Tian?”

Chen Wenbo couldn’t even be bothered to lift an eyelid, and replied calmly, “Luo Xia, you need evidence to back up your claims. How can you be so certain that I gave Gao Han the Golden Wall Talisman? And that I helped him activate it? Isn’t it possible for my disciple, with his profound blessings, to obtain it on his own? Moreover, let me tell you, both of your accusations are unfounded. Besides, when we initially agreed, we didn’t say that giving Gao Han necessary guidance and gifts were not allowed.”

“You…” Luo Xia was rebuffed by Chen Wenbo and could say nothing in return.

In the center, Qi Tian’s attempt to use the Galloping Skill imparted by the Wuhang Ring failed, while Gao Han successfully used the Golden Wall Talisman to block Qi Tian. In an instant, he seized the initiative. With his right hand pointing to the sky, he shouted loudly, “Sword, come.”

With a whoosh, a brilliant Flying Shadow Sword was released from his fingertips. The sword was over three feet long with a narrow body, radiating a chilling glow. It belonged to Luo Xia and was a heavenly-level middle-grade spirit sword – the Flying Shadow Sword.

The Flying Shadow Sword soared high into the air, tens of feet high, before turning under Gao Han’s control and darted towards Qi Tian. Its speed was incredibly fast, even surpassing Qi Tian’s when using the Galloping Skill.

Qi Tian turned to run, but with hundreds of spectators crowded on Wild Goose Falling Mountain, there was hardly any space to dodge.

In great alarm, Luo Xia, standing on the high platform, yelled to the Imperial Master Mansion’s disciples scattered on the Wild Goose Falling Mountain, “Move, all of you move.”

Some of the disciples who knew the power of the Flying Shadow Sword immediately fled downhill. However, the majority either did not know how powerful the Flying Shadow Sword was or subconsciously thought that Gao Han wouldn’t dare to kill within the Imperial Master Mansion’s turf. They watched on without moving an inch.

Seeing this, Luo Xia was furious with frustration, shouting, “Damn it, not even listening to my orders. All disciples below the Foundation Establishment Stage get down from the mountain. Anyone who disobeys will be expelled from the National Master Manor. All brothers at the Foundation Establishment Stage, maintain order and ensure the safety of the other disciples. If necessary, take some measures.”

Those disciples who had remained rooted in place began to descend the mountain, only upon observing Luo Xia’s severity. Chen Wenbo smirked at the sight of this, while the cultivators who had followed Gao Han burst into laughter. Some even began cheering for Gao Han aloud, no longer able to hold back their excitement.

At this point, Qi Tian simply didn’t have the time to consider all possibilities. He had thought of various scenarios in advance, but he never suspected that Chen Wenbo and Gao Han would be so shameless. Not only did Gao Han use his strength to bully the weak, but he also used a five-grade Golden Wall Talisman – a talisman typically used among the Foundation Establishment Stage cultivators. Qi Tian had made plenty of preparations, but there were limits to his considerations. He hadn’t thought it possible for this situation to arise. The thought also hadn’t crossed Huang Liuyan, Xiao Xiaowu, and Luo Xia’s minds; they had all considered things strictly within the realm of Qi Cultivation Period and hadn’t taken the possibility of Foundation Establishment Stage into account.

It couldn’t be said that Qi Tian and Huang Liuyan were dull. The truth was Chen Wenbo and Gao Han had crossed all lines in their attempt to become the Lubei County Master, not even caring about face anymore.

Qi Tian felt incredibly grateful that his Wuhang Ring was equipped with the Galloping Skill. This allowed him to match Gao Han’s Flying Shadow Sword in speed. If he lacked this ability, he would have been done for after one exchange of strikes.

Qi Tian pushed his Galloping Skill to the limit and started a foot-race around the Wild Goose Falling Mountain. His speed of fifty meters per second was his absolute limit. The Flying Shadow Sword hot on his trail, never more than two meters behind him. Occasionally, Qi Tian would have to jump onto rocks to get past them, but the Flying Shadow Sword would just barbarically pierce through any stones in its path, breaking them apart before resuming its relentless pursuit of Qi Tian. Gao Han’s actions had turned Wild Goose Falling Mountain into a mess. Luo Xia, Zhang Lei, and the rest watched with fury in their hearts.

For every disciple of Imperial Master Mansion, the Wild Goose Falling Mountain was a sacred place. Yet now it was being desecrated by Gao Han. Many wanted to take him down, but they were deterred by Chen Wenbo’s watchful eyes. All they could do was root for Qi Tian and hope he could severely defeat Gao Han.

Chen Wenbo sat high on a platform with a cold smirk on his lips. Gao Han’s wanton destruction was at his behest. He wanted to regain the face he lost when Xiao Xiaowu had embarrassed him some days ago.

Being chased, Qi Tian was in a rather difficult situation. His mind raced to find a solution to turn the situation around. While he had advantages in timing, geographical and human conditions, the advantages Gao Han had were simply too great, enough to fully overwhelm his side.

Continuously running around Wild Goose Falling Mountain was certainly not a solution. The Galloping Skill on the Wuhang Ring drained his True Essence heavily. Once all the True Essence in his sixteen meridians were consumed, he wouldn’t be able to compete with the speed of the Flying Shadow Sword. He believed that Gao Han, controlling the Flying Shadow Sword from afar and maintaining such high speed, was also depleting his True Essence rapidly. Originally, Qi Tian was confident in competing against Gao Han in terms of consumption, but now he had lost hope in competing fairly against the shameless Gao Han. He firmly believed that Gao Han could continuously break through the bottom line in ways he could not imagine.

Since fairness was out of the question, if he wanted to win, Qi Tian would have to resort to extraordinary measures. After running around Wild Goose Falling Mountain for two rounds, he saw an opportunity.

Gao Han was remotely controlling his flying sword from within the defensive line formed by Golden Wall Talisman, sitting atop the peak of Wild Goose Falling Mountain. Hence, there were several blind spots due to the irregular shape of the mountain. This was Qi Tian’s opportunity.

On the third circle around Wild Goose Falling Mountain, Qi Tian began executing his plan. As he neared one of Gao Han’s blind spots, he drew the Red Hoop Stick from his War Soldier Ring. He then activated the Heavenly Dao Engine, slightly accelerating on top of the Galloping Skill from the Wuhang Ring. The Heavenly Dao Engine did not disappoint him; its acceleration was just as effective on the Galloping Skill. Instantly, the distance between Qi Tian and the Flying Shadow Sword had extended to about five or six meters.

Qi Tian suddenly turned around, he swung his Red Hoop Stick vigorously towards the Flying Shadow Sword.

Choosing a location in Gao Han’s blind spot for his counterattack, Qi Tian banked on the fact that Gao Han could not adjust the Flying Shadow Sword in time, remaining on course due to inertia. This gave Qi Tian a chance to predict the path accurately and strike accordingly.
