Chapter 1447: Chapter 0820 Rules Chapter 1447: Chapter 0820 Rules Chapter 0820: Rules

After Xu Xinge assumed the so-called leadership role, he wasted no time in exercising his power; he appointed all the disciples who came with him as team leaders, and assigned team members to them. Although Qi Tian and Sun Xiqi were both from National Master Manor, Xu Xinge had no hesitation in separating the two and placing them under different leaders. They were not the only ones destined for such a fate; Nascent Soul Masters from other forces also underwent the same splitting process.

According to Xu Xinge, doing so allowed each individual’s strengths to be utilized without masking anyone’s abilities, thus enabling everyone to establish their own merits within the secret realm. His explanation sounded fair, but everyone clearly understood that Xu Xinge’s arrangement was entirely to better control each of the Nascent Soul Masters. For instance, if Qi Tian and Sun Xiqi were placed in the same team, their unity could easily challenge the authority of the team leader. To prevent this scenario, their separation was an inevitable outcome.

The leader of Qi Tian’s team was Wu Jiahui, a man who appeared to be in his early forties, with closely cropped hair revealing much of his hair had turned white. The other three members, two men and a woman, included Xu Jun from Wanjie Commerce, with the other two, named Li Zizhuo and Bai Ningshuang, hailing from two different third-tier forces.

Among the five of them, Wu Jiahui and Xu Jun were of similar cultivation levels, just a bit below the peak of First Level of Nascent Soul Stage. Li Zizhuo and Bai Ningshuang were slightly weaker. Compared to them, Qi Tian was undoubtedly much lesser in cultivation level; however, having once publicly defeated Cheng Daoran, the others in his group did not underestimate him, at least not openly.

After Xu Xinge finished arranging the four teams, he said, “The conditions within the secret realm are extremely complicated. Initially, we and another Sacred Cultivation Place had already clashed in the realm, with neither side able to gain the upper hand. After serious negotiations with them, we finally reached a mutually acceptable agreement.

All of our people, as well as all of those from the opposing side, will enter the secret realm simultaneously, engaging in indiscriminate combat. When encountering the opposition, any method imaginable may be employed, including killing, as it is within the rules.

Of course, this isn’t meant to encourage murder or to suggest that the enemies should kill us. Upon entry, each of us will receive a teleportation talisman. If you find yourself unable to hold out, or face severe danger and fear for your life, you can crush the talisman. It will transport you out of the secret realm, ensuring your safety.

This struggle will continue until only one person remains in the realm. If the last person is from our side, the secret realm will belong to us. Conversely, if the last person is from the opposing side, the realm will belong to them, and we will have no further claim to it.

I hope everyone considers the stakes carefully. Please do not crush your teleportation talisman prematurely; if possible, fight till the very end. The time you leave will affect how much of the realm’s cultivation resources your sect can claim. If you desire more, endure longer. If you aren’t interested in these resources, you can crush the talisman immediately upon entry.

That’s the gist of the rules. I won’t say more; we all have been cultivating for many years and understand the significance of cultivation resources. We chose to wage this fight in the realm to allow everyone to directly see how vital it is for us—it contains many cultivation resources we desperately need. Finding another realm so suitable for us might take several hundred, or even a thousand or two thousand years. That’s all from me; it’s time to set off. Let’s go.”

Having finished speaking, Xu Xinge stood up first and headed out towards the gathering point, followed by the team members he personally selected. The other teams gradually left the gathering point one after another, leaving only Qi Tian’s team behind.

Group leader Wu Jiahui glared with wide eyes, sweeping his gaze over the faces of Qi Tian and the others. He said, “Brother Xu made things very clear just now. The ownership of the secret realm is intrinsically linked to every one of us. I don’t care about others, just you few. I’ll say it upfront: I don’t expect you to be the last to leave the realm, but anyone among you who refuses to fight to the death, or flees at the slightest danger by crushing a teleportation talisman, or leaves the realm early, will not pass muster with me. No matter who ultimately owns the realm, don’t blame me, as the team leader, for settling the score after we emerge. And do not take my words lightly; they represent not only my intentions but also those of the Ink Flood Dragon Association. If you think you can withstand our pressure, then do as you please, and we’ll see who has the last laugh.”

Qi Tian and the other team members remained silent. Their cultivation levels were similar to that of Wu Jiahui, but the forces behind them were certainly no match for the Ink Flood Dragon Association, leaving them with little confidence to verbally spar with Wu Jiahui.

Wu Jiahui was pleased with the effect of his words. Flicking his head, he said, “Follow me.”

Qi Tian and the others left the gathering point with Wu Jiahui and headed towards the nearby entrance of the secret realm. It was also guarded by several Nascent Soul Masters and over a hundred Gold Core Realm cultivators, whose duty was to ensure the entrance’s security; they would not participate in the combat within the realm.

Xu Xinge stood at the entrance to the secret realm, his hands holding a batch of premade teleportation talismans, which he was distributing one by one.

As he handed them out, he explained, “Everyone, please take good care of your teleportation talismans. Do not lose them, or you might not know how long you’ll be trapped in the secret realm. Furthermore, the duration of this contest is three months. If, after three months, people from both sides still remain in the realm, we will determine the final ownership of the realm based on the number of people left. Everyone must persevere; do not crush your talisman until the very end. Even if you find a place to hide, that’s still better. Also, don’t foolishly think of hiding in the realm after the contest concludes to avoid coming out, or you will face joint execution by the two major Sacred Cultivation Places, and the consequences will be very serious. Everyone, be smart about this.”
