He then inserted the artifacts he had found into the holes, linking the boulder to the wall next to it. He did this to prevent Manager Chen from reaching the tomb’s entrance and activating the mechanism to sink the boulder back into the ground, which would reveal the entrance and allow for a possible escape.

After securing the boulder in place, Qi Tian had essentially completed all the preparatory work. Only then did he turn his attention towards the Inner Underground Palace of the Saint’s Tomb. It was time to settle the score with Manager Chen properly.
