Chapter 1134: Chapter 0662: Encounter with the Small Space_2 Chapter 1134: Chapter 0662: Encounter with the Small Space_2 The minor sandstorm was not willing to admit defeat, it shook once again, with even more grains of sand falling off its body like bullets, shooting toward the major sandstorm that blocked its path.

Had these grains of sand received reinforcement, undoubtedly, the might of the major sandstorm would have continued to soar. Just at that moment, however, a Transporting Whirlwind burst out from within the major sandstorm, interposed itself in front of the incoming grains, and with a casual twist, swept up the freshly shot sand, preventing them from merging into the major storm.

Then, the Transporting Whirlwind, carrying the grains it just collected, circled past the sandstorm, returning to Qi Tian’s hand, and after spitting the grains into Qi Tian’s palm for him to gather, it plunged back into the major sandstorm.

Qi Tian looked at the minor sandstorm and chuckled, saying, “I don’t know if you are intelligent or can understand my words, but I’ll assume you can do just that. I should remind you that you can freely shed more sand from your body and let it merge into your subordinate’s mass, but while doing so, consider carefully whether it might be intercepted by me.”

The minor sandstorm whirled furiously but wisely halted the thought of continuing to supply reinforcements to the major sandstorm.

The Transporting Whirlwind engaged the major sandstorm in an enduring battle, and as time passed, the major storm gradually weakened, not a match. If this continued for a few more minutes, the Transporting Whirlwind would be able to subdue the major storm and then forcefully drag it into the storage room of the Heavenly Dao Engine, at which point the sandstorm could only await its fate as fuel for the Engine.

The minor sandstorm seemed to realize the futility of its situation. If it kept lingering there without retreating promptly, once the major sandstorm that shielded it from Qi Tian was subdued, he would definitely turn his spearhead toward it, and by then, it would be very difficult to escape.

Without hesitation, the minor sandstorm sprang into action. Through some unknown command, the nearby sandstorms rapidly converged, and as they gathered together, spreading across different areas in crisscross patterns, they fully blocked Qi Tian’s line of sight, preventing him from seeing the minor storm’s whereabouts, which then commenced its escape.

These sandstorms were incredibly formidable, capable of directly attacking the flesh and posing a tremendous threat to a cultivator’s Divine Sense. Otherwise, the two Gold Core Realm powerhouses sent by Emperor Jianwu into the thick fog during daytime wouldn’t have lost their lives in such a bewildered state.

The minor sandstorm had good reason to believe, after such a setup, that it could block Qi Tian’s vision and Divine Sense, making it impossible for him to detect its movements, thus easily accomplishing its retreat and ensuring its safety.

However, the minor sandstorm underestimated Qi Tian; it could never have imagined the existence of a miraculous treasure like the Heavenly Dao Engine. Although Qi Tian’s Divine Sense could no longer be used, the Heavenly Dao Engine’s ability to sense Spirit Qi remained wholly unaffected. It didn’t matter if only a few sandstorms were in the way, even if their number increased several fold, it still wouldn’t affect the Engine’s sensing capabilities. As long as it was within the detection limit of the Heavenly Dao Engine, Qi Tian could easily track the trajectory of the minor sandstorm.

Qi Tian didn’t rush to capture the minor sandstorm; still, he remained in place. After using the Heavenly Dao Engine’s function to sense Spirit Qi and lock onto the minor sandstorm’s trajectory, he continued to command the Transporting Whirlwind, subjugating the major sandstorm in front of him. The energy contained within it was too significant to ignore, several times stronger than that of other major sandstorms, too precious to be let go.

After a prolonged struggle, the Transporting Whirlwind finally gained the upper hand, dragging the major sandstorm into a black hole in the palm of Qi Tian’s hand, subsequently depositing it into the storage chamber of the Heavenly Dao Engine.

At this time, the small sandstorm had completely vanished. Qi Tian maintained a steady pace as he moved forward, continuing to use the Transporting Whirlwind to gather more of the sandstorm and the dense fog without forgetting to collect them.

It was here that Qi Tian arrived at a certain place. Through the feedback from the Heavenly Dao Engine, he could confirm that the small sandstorm had disappeared right here. As to how it disappeared and where it had hidden itself, the Heavenly Dao Engine did not give him a direct answer.

Qi Tian was not in a hurry. He stayed where he was and carefully studied the feedback from the Heavenly Dao Engine.

Since entering the Imperial Family Secret Territory, Qi Tian had uncovered some new features of the Heavenly Dao Engine. Among the most important was his mastery of how to read the three-dimensional imagery fed back by the Heavenly Dao Engine and eventually determine the entrance to a small space. He had to thank Emperor Jianwu for being able to unearth this function.

Qi Tian quickly discovered that at his current location, there indeed was a hidden small space. It was even more concealed and harder to detect than the small space where Emperor Jianwu had hidden, but all these were relative. After being scanned by the Heavenly Dao Engine again and again, it eventually could not escape detection and was unearthed by Qi Tian.

Having discovered the entrance to the small space, the rest became straightforward. Qi Tian unleashed the Transporting Whirlwind once more, beginning to strip away the defensive power sealing the entrance to the small space. As long as this restraining force was completely worn down, it would become very easy to enter the small space.

The process was not easy, but neither was it too difficult. Under the repeated plundering of the Transporting Whirlwind, the entrance to the small space soon began to loosen, no longer as solid as before.

Qi Tian then reached out, grabbed the entrance to the small space, and with a forceful tug, he tore open a crack.

The small sandstorm hiding within the small space had not expected Qi Tian to find its hiding place in such a short time. It was even more astonished that Qi Tian could tear open the entrance to the small space so swiftly. It became panicked and anxious, knowing that the sandstorms and dense fog it created could pose no threat to Qi Tian. Yet unwilling to concede defeat, the small sandstorm entered a state of extreme frenzy as the entrance was not yet fully opened by Qi Tian. It whirled wildly, and the sand grains swirling around it were endowed with enormous energy, falling off its body like bullets. They shot out through the crack of the small space entrance towards Qi Tian, intent on ending his life.

Although each grain of yellow sand was small, their power was immense; each grain contained the strength to evolve into a large sandstorm. One can imagine the terrible consequences if such a grain of sand were to hit Qi Tian.

Yet Qi Tian was not worried at all. Numerous Transporting Whirlwinds constantly circled him. After he had torn a crack in the entrance to the small space, these whirlwinds, under his command, entered the small space through the crack. They then constructed a solid defensive net around the fissure, intercepting the sand grains filled with terrifying energy as they approached.

The defense was significantly effective, with the first few grains of sand posing no danger to the Transporting Whirlwind whatsoever. However, as more sand grains shot towards them, the whirlwinds became overwhelmed. After all, each grain of sand carried almost the same amount of energy, and the quantity was so vast that it quickly approached the limit of what the Transporting Whirlwinds could withstand.
