Our world might have those treasures too. It’s just luck if you can find them or not."

"Aren’t the fortunes of Huan Caiyi and Zhi Hui too good? They got the perfect treasure for their scenario," spoke another grand elder.

"Or maybe they decided to take that step because they had that treasure," Jing Han commented and continued.

"Anyway, I think my guess is right. Nothing else explains it otherwise. So we can safely say that Hong Yi wasn’t able to find them till now. As for how our other elders died... Huan Caiyi and Zhi Hui might not be capable, but they are deviously smart, so it wouldn’t be surprising if our cultivators met a grade 8 beast because of their plot."

"Supreme Elder, if it is really a treasure of that level, then wouldn’t it be almost impossible to find them?"

Jing Han looked at the elder and spoke slowly,

"Every treasure has its limit. You, of all people, should know that. Let’s discuss how we should proceed now. Speak. I need all your opinions."

All grand elders nodded and thought for a moment before speaking one by one.

The discussion went on for a while before Jing Han nodded and said,

"I’ve come to my decision. We will invade that forbidden zone if Hong Yi did not find Huan Caiyi and Zhi Hui in a decade or so. Then it will be time to involve all the top sects. We will ask them to join us. If they do, it will be good and they will be rewarded tremendously. In fact, we can give the concealment treasure to the one who performs the best. If they don’t join, then suppress them everywhere."

"Yes, Supreme Elder, this is the best route. I will go inform the whole sect about it," one of the grand elders stood up and left.

"Sigh... go back to your seclusion," Jing Han said and left himself.

Five years passed in the blink of an eye after the opening of the Inheritance Site.

Jiang Hao was standing on the mountain peak and looking at the mist covering it.

The whole mountain was empty now. Both Huan Caiyi and Zhi Hui had left with Ming Yue yesterday.

It was time for Jiang Hao to break through to the Nascent Soul Realm. He could have done it yesterday with Senior Sister Ming Yue, but he decided to do it today.

Five years wasn’t much time but also isn’t a small amount for his level. He had made progress in his array mastery along with the sword’s way.

Jiang Hao still hadn’t broken through to the Sword Intent Realm, but he was close. It wouldn’t even take a year now.

Jiang Hao had improved his array mastery though and had reached expert level in arrays.

With that, he could create grade 4 and 5 arrays easily, although he doubted he would use them.

The reason he even used arrays was to not let his enemies escape in the Inheritance Site, where it was easy to know where to draw arrays for them to work.

Jiang Hao sighed and sat down. The breakthrough to Nascent Soul Realm isn’t hard, but it’s still an impactful one.

It is the stage which births your nascent soul, an exact copy of your physical appearance, but in essence, it is your true soul.

Having a nascent soul has many benefits, but the most important is survivability.

If by any chance your physical body gets destroyed, you will still have a chance to escape using your nascent soul.

There are some restrictions though. Since at Nascent Soul Realm the soul is just born, it is very fragile, so it won’t survive long unless you find a body to take over.

But it is impossible to take over any body, even that of a mortal, with the strength of a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator, so you need to have someone strong enough by your side to help you.

So all in all, the nascent soul isn’t of much value at the Nascent Soul Realm itself, but with each breakthrough, it grows stronger, so there will come a time when you can survive without your body.

After learning that a dantian also exists in the nascent soul at the Heavenly King Realm, it was given that you wouldn’t even lose your cultivation realm—only your body cultivation would be lost.

Body cultivation is easier to recover till the Heavenly King Realm. You just need resources, not careful concentration for cultivating.

After the Heavenly King Realm, Jiang Hao doesn’t know, but since your insights in the Dao aren’t something which will be lost just because your body gets destroyed, it means that once you reach the Heavenly King Realm, then the heavens themselves will let you recover to the peak.

Jiang Hao started observing changes in his soul sea, as Nascent Soul Realm is all about the birth of your nascent soul, which increases the strength of spiritual qi to the next level.

Jiang Hao could see that the more spirit qi he was absorbing, the more his calm soul sea—which hadn’t even moved once—was churning right now.

The spirit qi he was absorbing right now was getting absorbed inside his soul sea instead of his dantian.

And all the qi was getting absorbed into the whirlpool vortex that was created inside his soul sea.

Jiang Hao watched closely as the size of the vortex increased from 1 meter to 10 meters in seconds.

It was increasing without stopping.

After 2 minutes, the vortex which was absorbing qi reached the size of about 100 meters and stopped.

A few seconds later, the absorption of spirit qi inside his soul sea decreased. All the qi now was entering his dantian.

Slowly, the vortex started to decrease in size and Jiang Hao eyes fell upon a miniature black figure which was naked and looked like him.

Only its size was about as big as his palm. He could feel an inherent connection to it. Well, in essence, it was him, so it would be wrong to say he didn’t feel anything.

Right now, his nascent soul’s eyes were closed, but if he wanted, he could make it open. However, once that happens, his consciousness will transfer to his nascent soul and its projection will be lost.
