Wukong replied joyfully, "I appreciate your efforts, Sect Master!"

Hence, he projected the Golden Lotus into the sky where it hovered in the void.

Tong Tian Sect Master waved his large sleeve, and the Slaying Immortal Four Swords instantly manifested. A fierce and sharp aura surged to the heavens as if to rip the firmament apart. The Sect Master then exerted his strength suddenly, and the power of the Slaying Immortals Sword Formation soared anew. Sword lights soared, and killing intent shrouded the heavens.

The sword light was gentle, slowly circulating around the Golden Lotus as if caressing a lover. However, the "caress" of Sword Qi that burst from within the Slaying Immortal Sword Formation was hardly something a normal person could endure. If touched, one would likely disintegrate into ash and smoke instantly.

"Rise!"

After polishing for a full three days and nights, the Tong Tian Sect Master finally let out a loud cry, startling Wukong awake, and withdrew the Slaying Immortal Sword Formation, taking back the Green Duckweed Sword.

Wukong also made a gesture with his hand, retrieving the Golden Lotus and taking a look at it in hand. The surface of the Lotus was smooth like beautiful jade, polished neatly and very slick, it even had a slippery feel when held. The Tong Tian Sect Master replied, "Patience is key, patience is key. Wait until you’ve slain the Three Corpses, and then fulfil your great ambition to revolutionize the world. I’m afraid by then you shall have reached full fruition."

Wukong said, "Thank you for the guidance, Sect Master."

The Tong Tian Sect Master responded, "There’s no need for such formalities. Your Golden Lotus will likely be of great use when facing the calamity of Yuan Meeting. Fuxi once said: ’With the Golden Lotus, create the world.’ Your Golden Lotus is inevitably linked to this. Should there be any anomalous changes in the Golden Lotus within you, come find me in the Biyou Palace in Upper Clear Heaven. Even if I cannot resolve it, I will notify my two senior brothers, for your Golden Lotus has great purpose."

Wukong nodded and said, "Alright!"

The Tong Tian Sect Master called over an Apprentice, saying, "Take Wukong to find your Supreme Holy Mother teacher."

Once the Apprentice received the decree from the Tong Tian Sect Master, he led Wukong away.

In no time, they arrived at where the Supreme Holy Mother lived. After announcing their purpose, an Apprentice of the Supreme Holy Mother took Wukong inside.

"Wukong has arrived." Having previously met Wukong and knowing that he was sent by her teacher to find her, the Supreme Holy Mother naturally treated him with courtesy.

"Greetings to the Supreme Holy Mother. Holy Mother, I seek you out for a matter," Wukong said.

"Speak your request. If it is within my power, I will help you," replied the Supreme Holy Mother promptly.

After all, should one be sent by the Tong Tian Sect Master to seek her out, it surely meant that the Sect Master had granted his permission for the matter.

Wukong explained his reason for coming, and immediately the Supreme Holy Mother’s eyebrows raised as she decisively said, "Alright! I’ll help you!"

A satisfied Wukong stayed for a short while before departing.
