Francisca Harker stared at her new Assistant as she flared in anger .

Yet,this time she controlled herself.

The hall was completely silent as the higher ups of the clan stared at her with fear and trepidation visible on their faces.

Were they going to experience another "replacement " again?

Francisca had been killing and replacing her assistants for three days now. She felt that this was an attempt to use fear to motivate them to search for Kailen Darkhaven in hopes of finding him and yet ,he was nowhere to be found .

Francisca had always been one to use fear as a motivation to stimulate better results when it came to her clan, and it had always worked,only to fail her this time.

There was no point in killing this assistant.

Besides ,the number of strong and resourceful awakened she had lost in an attempt to stimulate more " motivation" amongst the clan members to search for Kailen Darkhaven was not small.

If she kept doing this, she’d only lose more resourceful people.

Her husband Samaron ,remained silent , still playing the role of a lamb ,standing by her side.

However no one knew what he was thinking.

Francisca cursed " So you are saying that all the bounty hunters, even the galactic level bounty hunters sent after him suddenly disappeared?"

" Ye-es , clan leader "

The assistant stummered as he replied with a fearful expression on his face.

He wasn’t sure what his reply would lead to. However he knew death was better than not replying this vicious woman,so he replied with a voice full of fear.

Surprisingly ,Francisca did not kill him.Instead she sighed deeply, then mused outwardly under the fearful gazes of everyone in the room

" Is Darkaven behind this ? "

Many hesitated to voice their thoughts , scared of her.

" Speak, you good for nothing fuckers!"

She flared, the temperature in the room soaring to higher heights .

Many swallowed thier saliva ,saying their final prayers, ready to die ,when she suddenly calmed down.

Someone finally spoke, not ready to have her go on a rampage .

" With all due respect mistress, I don’t think Cyrus Darkhaven is behind this. He wants to kill Kailen Darkhaven as much as we do. An anonymous yet reliable source on the Darkweb revealed that he’s the one behind the second bounty . I think he has more to gain if the bounty is claimed by you and he doesn’t have to pay for it in the end"

Many nodded their heads at the words of the one who had just spoken.

Even Francisca herself who was a block headed person, found these words extremely reasonable.

Another person added " There are rumors circulating that the Alchemy Association is secretly protecting him. With the power of the alchemist association, it’s the most likely conclusion . After all, President Ha may not be physically strong , but the connection he has to galactic level lifeforms is not small,not to mention even the alchemy association’s connections to galactic lifeforms"

A female elder added " I agree. I think the only reason why that old man is not openly supporting Kailen Darkhaven is because he does not want to do anything that will put the alchemy association branch in the capital on the bad side of our family. After all, our family has made many contributions to the alchemy association by producing many alchemists. However he may be supporting the youngster in secret . There’s no way the Alchemy association will let a youngster not only talented in Alchemy, but has terrifying battle prowess ,can escape from galactic level lifeforms and has an elemental dormant physique to come to harm. I believe they are protecting his loved ones secretly because they anticipated that harming his loved ones will be the method we’d use to draw him into the open. Also, they are secretly protecting him and probably hiding him somewhere"

Everyone nodded at her words, agreeing more with the reasoning of this female elder.

Surprisingly,Francisca could not be mad at her for mentioning Kailen’s talents, although it reminded her of several things, such as -him appearing and dissapering from them as though he was taking a walk in the park after he kidnapped her daughter and returned her back in a state where she was committing suicide , flipped them the middle finger and vanished into thin air.

Although this woman was a rank 1 beginner stage galactic lifeform an was weaker than Francisca, She was an instructor in the Astral Empire Academy, therefore even Francisca could not mess with her.

She was one of the people who had boosted the family’s prestige to another level.

Being an instructor in the Astral Empire Academy after all, was no small feat. If she messed with this woman ,she could just decide to leave the clan and the clan would be on the losing end.

Francisca therefore had to swallow her displeasure with the woman’s " inconsiderate words".

" I suppose that is the most likely conclusion . The Alchemy association must be behind him now.

However it’s a different thing when he enters the academy ,as no body guards or guardians are allowed to accompany students in the academy, as every student has to rely on their own strength to survive .

I want to get rid of him . If that Cyrus manages to do it, before we do,it will a humiliation I do not think I can ever stomach . I heard some rumors that he’d be participating in the academy entrance exams, sister can you do something about him during the academy entrance exams?"

Enna , Francisca’s sister remained silent for a while before she spoke.

It was really a breath of fresh air for everyone in the room to see someone who could disrespect the clan leader anytime she wanted and reply her whenever she wanted.

" I can’t do anything about the entrance exams as the academy pays serious attention to the entrance exams, but I can manage to get rid of him during academy missions when he enrolls in the academy"
