Sheng Tang didn’t care who ranked first.

In the morning, the Chinese and Math exam papers were handed out first. She did okay, scoring 101 in one and 112 in the other, both above average. Jiang Baocu, however, scored much higher than her.

Midway through, the Geography papers were also given out, and Sheng Tang’s score was within her expectations.

At lunchtime, while eating with Gu Shiting, Sheng Tang noticed his Math and other two subject scores were nearly perfect.

"That’s impressive!" she exclaimed.

Gu Shiting didn’t show much interest in the exams and just stuffed the papers away carelessly, "Let’s eat."

Sheng Tang nodded, feeling quite pleased.

She told Gu Shiting about her plans to visit Le Si the next day.

As Gu Shiting listened, he felt a little uneasy; it seemed like he really wanted to go himself.

But with such a crowded place, he absolutely wouldn’t dare to go.

The food tasted like sand to him.

"I’ll send you photos later," Sheng Tang said.

Gu Shiting nodded.

In the afternoon, the History and Politics exam papers were handed out first, and Sheng Tang did quite well in those too.

The final subject was English.

In every subject, there’s always one student who scores the best. For instance, Math is Chen Shen’s forte, English is Bai Shaolin’s, Chinese is Jiang Wei’s, and Social Studies is Wang Haihao’s. Among these students, Wang Haihao also ranks second in Math, and is well-rounded in English and Chinese, which is why he usually secures first place in the whole grade.

"I’m doomed. If I don’t score at least 110 in English, I might drop out of the top 50," Jiang Baocu worried.

The person in front of her desk overheard and turned around to respond, "The English exam was really difficult this time."

"Bai Shaolin said it wasn’t hard. She expects to score above 130."

"Her level doesn’t represent ours."

"What about you, Sheng Tang?"

Originally, Sheng Tang was much worse than them, but this time, her total score from the exams that had been handed out was just a few points short of theirs.

"The English papers are about to be handed out. Of course the first place has to treat everyone," Bai Shaolin said loudly, then pointed at a few others who were also first in their subjects, "You guys should treat everyone too."

The crowd was confused.

Bai Shaolin glanced at Sheng Tang.

In her heart, she was resentful, thinking, you got the teacher’s favoritism and won first place in the speech contest last time. Do you really think you have a chance to replace me?

Everyone could see the tension.

Sheng Tang shook her head helplessly.

Jiang Baocu, unable to stand her attitude, gently patted Sheng Tang’s arm, "Don’t listen to her. Does she have any chance of treating anyone?"

Sheng Tang smiled, "She never did."
