Sheng Tang continued with a smile, "If it were real, I would save you."

A faint smile tugged at the corners of Gu Shiting’s lips.

The car arrived at the Gu Family Villa. He set down his bag and instructed someone to notify the kitchen to prepare a few light dishes.

Sheng Tang and he casually ate something, then Song Chen came over to inform them that the training room was ready.

Gu Shiting stood up, leading Sheng Tang downstairs.

The Gu Family basement was spacious, equipped with fitness facilities, various types of gyms, and a large indoor swimming pool.

"This is nice," Sheng Tang said to Gu Shiting, "We could swim here in the evening."

"Do you know how?" Gu Shiting asked.

Sheng Tang nodded, "Yes. Have you forgotten who saved you last time?"

"You shouldn’t go home tonight. After practice, let’s swim," Gu Shiting said.

"We’ll see."

The room at the back of the basement was empty, with a mannequin standing in the middle.

The coach had been waiting for a while.

He was a man in his forties, dressed comfortably in sportswear, with a bit of gray at his temples but thick hair and sharp eyes.

"This is Miss Sheng, and this is my young master," Song Chen introduced as he followed them in.

The coach greeted them briefly.

"Beginners must be careful. Listen to my instructions and don’t rush things," the coach reminded the two.

Sheng Tang acknowledged.

The coach handed her a very finely made whip, which could extend and retract automatically.

The whip was made of soft leather. If it were made of solid steel, it could take a life.

In a law-abiding society, harming others is illegal, so soft leather is better, inflicting only skin injuries.

Sheng Tang tried it out first.

The coach wanted to stop her, but it was too late. The whip in Sheng Tang’s hand moved like a snake, completely out of her control, flying out without retracting.

Seeing the whip about to lash back at her, Gu Shiting grabbed it in one swift motion.

During this session, Sheng Tang learned an important lesson: humility in learning.

For the next two hours, Sheng Tang and Gu Shiting followed the coach’s guidance on how to exert force and control the whip.

Sheng Tang had an extraordinary memory, absorbing every demonstration by the coach, while Gu Shiting was no slouch in learning either.

After two hours, both of them could control the whip, avoiding self-injury.

The coach finally smiled, no longer stern-faced: "You two are the best students I have taught over the years."

"Thank you, coach."

"I had told Mr. Song earlier that it might take forty sessions to teach you both. Now I see, ten sessions will be enough," the coach said.

Sheng Tang rejoiced.

Gu Shiting estimated privately; he believed he could master it in three sessions. But how wonderful it would be to go home with Sheng Tang every day for the next ten days!

He secretly decided to slow his learning pace.

"Will we study every day?" he asked the coach.

The coach replied, "Depends on your schedule. If you can study every day, that would be even better."

Gu Shiting’s plan succeeded, his eyes sparkled with excitement.

He looked at Sheng Tang.

Sheng Tang, on the other hand, was quite busy.

She still had to work out to lose weight.

Her exercise efforts had clearly paid off; she was now down to 130 pounds. With a bit more effort, she could complete her weight loss goal ahead of time.

Fat loss was rapid, and she felt light and agile every day, with no discomfort, so she no longer worried about her health.

"We’ll discuss it further," Sheng Tang said.

By the time they finished learning, it was already 8 PM, just enough time to head home.

But Gu Shiting wouldn’t let her leave.

"Didn’t we agree to swim?" he urged her.
