Chapter 87: Interactions With The Night Part 46
He pushed open the door of the motel, wiping a bit of dust off his shoulder as he stepped inside.
Kana stood near the counter, arms crossed, foot tapping the floor softly.
Her expression said it all—she’d been waiting.
"You talked with an assassin, right?"
"Yeah," he said without hesitation. There was no need to lie.
Kana’s brow twitched. "Who?"
"Number Three."
Her arms dropped slightly.
There was a pause. Not because she was confused—she already knew the name. Just not the face.
Rumors had circled back then—how Number Three was dangerous, skilled... and very attractive.
Among all the assassins in the association, only Number Three was considered prettier than Kana.
"So you just talked?" Her eyebrow twitched, doubt written all over her face.
"She didn’t come looking for a fight. Just wanted to meet me in person."
"Did she, now?" she muttered, still looking very annoyed "And you just stood there, having a casual chat like old friends?"
"She offered to help. Said their group’s falling apart, wants to defect."
"That doesn’t mean you can trust her."
"I don’t. But she’s useful. And I need stronger people in the base for the next death parade."
"And you believe that’s all she wants?"
Luck gave a light shrug. "That’s what I’ll find out."
She didn’t look satisfied at all.
"She pretty?"
"What?"
"I said, is she pretty?"
He hesitated just a second too long.
Kana clicked her tongue and turned away. "Forget it."
"You’re jealous?" he asked, almost teasing.
Kana shot him a glare over her shoulder.
"I’m not jealous," she snapped. "I just don’t like being kept in the dark—especially when it comes to other assassins showing up out of nowhere and suddenly wanting to be close with you."
Before she could take another step, he moved in and wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"You’re so cute when you act like a tsundere," he murmured against her ear,
She let out a low scoff but didn’t pull away.
Luck leaned in closer, brushing his lips gently along the curve of her neck.
Her breath hitched—not from surprise, but because she didn’t expect him to be this direct right now.
"Stop trying to change the subject," she mumbled, but her tone had softened.
He kissed her neck again, slower this time, his arms still wrapped tight around her waist.
"Not changing anything," he whispered against her skin. "Just reminding you you’re the woman I love."
Kana’s hand touched his wrist lightly. Her body leaned back into him, even as she tried to act like it didn’t affect her.
"You’re an idiot," she said under her breath.
Luck smiled against her neck. "Yeah, but I’m your idiot."
Kana stayed still in his arms, her fingers resting lightly on his.
"Come on. Let’s go somewhere a little more private." he suggested.
Kana didn’t answer right away, but when he gently tugged her hand, she followed.
He guided her down the hallway, past the cracked walls and flickering lights of the motel, until they reached her room.
"Do you think I’ll just forgive you because—"
She turned to face him, but before the words left her mouth, he kissed her.
His lips tongue twisted inside—firm and slow, like he wasn’t in a rush.
One hand slid up her back, pulling her closer.
Kana pulled back slightly, lips still close, her breath brushing against his mouth.
"That’s not fair," she whispered.
Luck gave a half-smile, the kind that made it hard to stay mad at him. "Wasn’t trying to be."
He moved slowly, giving her space to push him away. She didn’t.
"See? You wanted to do it too," he said with a grin.
Warm hands slid to her waist again, then moved up her sides, fingers tracing the shape of her body like he was relearning every inch.
Her breathing deepened as he kissed the corner of her mouth, then her jaw, then down her neck.
She tilted her head slightly, giving him room to kiss her neck.
"Still mad?" he murmured between kisses.
"Shut up." she pretended to be mad before pulling him into another kiss—rougher this time, with teeth behind it.
He chuckled into her lips, walking her backward until her legs hit the bed.
She sat down, but before he could move in, she grabbed his belt and tugged him toward her.
"No complaining," she warned, her voice low and sultry, as she slowly pulled down his underwear. "You made me wait."
Luck didn’t argue.
Kana leaned in, her hair falling forward to create a curtain around them.
She began with a soft, teasing lick, her tongue tracing his manhood.
Soon, she used her hand in tandem with her mouth, her fingers wrapping around the base.
The contrast of sensations was intoxicating, the soft wetness of her mouth paired with the firm grip of her hand, creating a symphony of pleasure.
Kana’s other hand reached up, her fingers tracing the lines of his abdomen, teasing and exploring.
"Yeah, that’s it... Keep going... I’m close."
Her head bobbed faster. She could feel his manhood throbbing insider her mouth.
With a final, deep thrust, she felt hot, slimy liquid fill her mouth, her throat stretching slightly as she was forced to swallow every last drop.
When he finished, his thumb brushed her chin, wiping away what had spilled. Then he made her lie on the bed.
Now was his turn to devour her soaking wet pussy.
.
.
.
Nightfall.
The zombies arrived in waves, with more variants among them this time, but Luck handled most of them without much trouble.
Compared to what he faced during the Death Parade, this was nothing.
He scanned the area—no sign of the assassin group.
Looked like they had no plans to show up tonight.
With the job done, he returned to the motel with Kana, ready to pick up where they left off, and waited for morning to come.

Luck stood near the railing outside, sipping from a dented metal cup, eyes on the horizon.
"Big Boss," Jun called out. "Can we talk?"
Luck gave a short nod.
They walked back to the motel without saying much.
"I’ve been hearing things," Jun said. "About Shane’s group."
Luck stayed silent, waiting.
Jun continued, "They say he’s setting something up behind your back."
"You sure about that? I’ve been running this place pretty well. Are they really that dissatisfied?"
Jun shook his head. "No, it’s just Shane and a couple of his buddies. Three of them, tops. Mostly loudmouths who don’t know when to shut up."
He paused, then added, "Boss...Want me to kick them out? "
Luck took a moment before answering. That mission still needed his attention, especially because it was performance-based.
"No, I’ll handle it myself. Pretty sure his buddies are just tagging along. Once I make an example out of him, the rest will fall in line."
Jun nodded, trusting that his boss would handle it better than he ever could.
Back in his office, Luck opened his laptop and pulled up the CCTV footage from the past few days.
The cameras were well hiden so none knew about them.
He scrubbed through the recordings, fast-forwarding past the routine.
His focus narrowed, watching for any slip-up from Shane or Lor.
And then he spotted it — the time was 3:00 a.m. Shane and Lor started kissing.
At first she resisted, but slowly she began kissing him back.
They made out against the wall, and in the darkness of the night, they fucked. Lor was pressed against the wall as Shane took her from behind.
If not for the night vision, such a scene would have been almost impossible to see.
’Checkmate.’
With this evidence, he could have completed the mission, but he felt it wouldn’t give him the best result.
So he saved the clip to his phone, then stepped outside and called Lor over to the side of the motel for a private talk.
"You... needed something Boss?" she asked, voice cautious.
Luck leaned against the wall, arms relaxed at his sides. "How’s life here? With Rick and your son?"
Lor blinked, caught off guard by the question. "It’s... fine. Rick’s been doing his part. And my son’s safe thanks to you, which is all I care about."
She shifted her weight, glancing behind her, then back at him. "Why are you asking? Did something happen?"
Luck didn’t answer right away. He just watched her, studying the way her fingers fidgeted and how her voice tensed at the end of every sentence.
"Nothing much, really. Just needed some advice,"
"W...What is it?"
"Well, here’s the thing. I know someone—a woman with a husband and a kid. Says she loves them both. But then she lets another man fuck her. So I’m wondering... does that mean she doesn’t love her husband anymore? Or can a woman actually love two men at the same time?"
He tilted his head mockingly. "Help me out here. I could use some perspective."
Lor’s face went stiff. "You’re joking... right?"
Luck didn’t smile. "Am I?"
Her throat bobbed as she swallowed hard. "I-I don’t know what you’re talking about."
"I didn’t even say anything yet. Why are you acting so guilty?"
"I’m not..." Her voice faded into silence, and the panic in her eyes deepened.
"I see," Luck said calmly. "Then if you’re not guilty... maybe you can kindly tell me what’s going through that woman’s mind?"
His gaze stayed locked on her, giving her no room to dodge.
"Because if she truly loves her family, why do something that could destroy it?"
