Chapter 139: Chapter 139: Take and Ask
Old Zhou, with a face full of indignation, pointed at Yang Fan and said, "You little rascal, you’re not being fair. I just brought you such a big benefit today, and now you’re turning around and doubting my business integrity? Let me tell you, you can forget about such good deals in the future. And what about the market price? It’s definitely the market behind my buttocks, where else could it be?"
"Alright, alright, I wronged you. But don’t talk about me like I’m ungrateful. When I have good stuff, I still think of you first." Yang Fan laughed, "Then rest up, we’re going to pick up the goods."
"Do you need me to come over? Our main thing is providing thorough service, with pick-up and drop-off." Old Zhou grinned with his dark face, his smile resembling that of Maitreya Buddha.
Yang Fan chuckled softly, "Are you serious?"
"Serious—no, don’t set a trap for me, I’m not going to your house!" Seeing something off about Yang Fan’s look, Old Zhou quickly changed his statement, "That’s for big clients, you’re not one yet."
"Then you’re just talking nonsense, enjoy your sunbathing." Yang Fan said resentfully, "I thought I could save a few hundred yuan on fuel from now on, but you’re still just sizing up people."
"I’m talking about big clients, you’re considered a retail customer, our service levels are definitely different. If you can accept a small discount, I can actually run every day," Old Zhou said with a sly smile.
"So you’re spouting nonsense." Yang Fan shook his head, "Rest up, you."
After walking a distance, Yu Hong Dou asked somewhat uneasily, "I’ve been to this place several times before, can we trust it?"
"I’ve always supplied Old Zhou, and although business is business and some things are inevitable, he conducts his business very conscientiously; you can be sure of that," Yang Fan said earnestly, "as long as those tea bricks are preserved well, the price he just mentioned is definitely stable."
Yu Hong Dou nodded gently and muttered weakly, "I see now, these people just fleece those who don’t understand."
Yang Fan began to laugh, "No matter what you’re buying, you definitely need to do a little homework beforehand, get to know the market. Otherwise, if you expose your cards in just a few words, you can’t blame others for taking advantage."
"Let’s go, you lead the way, we’re going to fetch the stuff."
Yang Fan rode a tricycle with Yu Hong Dou out of the market and, guided by Yu Hong Dou, arrived at the city center.
Yu Hong Dou’s home was in the heart of the city; though it was an old town area, it was still bustling.
Inside the neighborhood, they climbed the stairs bearing old memories up to the top floor, where Yu Hong Dou opened the door on the right.
"Come in, my place is a bit messy. I’ve been busy raising money and running to the hospital, haven’t had time to tidy up," Yu Hong Dou said apologetically.
"It must still be neater than my place," Yang Fan said casually as he entered the home.
Yu Hong Dou’s home was quite large, seeming to be a four-bedroom layout.
This location, this area, easily worth a million.
With such a big house, Yang Fan was baffled once again that Yu Hong Dou would engage in that sort of work for just thirty thousand yuan.
This girl’s way of thinking was quite bizarre.
"Didn’t you think about leveraging your house when you were raising money? Even mortgaging it, I think, would have been better than what you were doing," Yang Fan couldn’t help asking.
"I’ve thought about it countless times, but this house belongs to my grandfather, and he’s still in a coma. I can’t mortgage it. Actually, I’ve had it appraised; this house could get a loan of eight hundred thousand," Yu Hong Dou said solemnly.
"That’s true," Yang Fan said.
"If that’s the case, then there’s really nothing we can do."
Yu Hong Dou opened one of the locked bedrooms, saying to Yang Fan, "This is the room where my grandfather stored his collection. There’s quite a mix of things inside. Brother Fanzi, you know a lot. Can you help me check the other items as well?"
Yang Fan responded, and the two entered.
The room was large, resembling a master bedroom, with walls on three sides filled with display shelves, all crammed with various items, and densely packed cardboard boxes as far as the eye could see.
Yu Hong Dou brought over a stool and stood on it, saying, "I opened one of the boxes here before. I remember it seemed pretty old."
Yang Fan walked over and supported Yu Hong Dou, his palm naturally grasping her tight and alluring buttocks.
Yu Hong Dou’s face subtly turned red. She slightly shifted her feet, leaning toward Yang Fan’s side and took down a box from the top.
Yang Fan kneaded her appealing, perky buttocks, pressing his nose against the tightly squeezed area of her golden valley. Suddenly feeling playful, he lightly breathed a few breaths into it through her pants.
"Brother Fanzi, stop it, it tickles..." Yu Hong Dou coyly said.
"Tickles? Let me help you with that," Yang Fan joked, immediately reaching to undo Yu Hong Dou’s buttons.
Yu Hong Dou did not stop him, but only blushed and softly asked, "Brother Fanzi, do you want it now? Can you wait a bit if I go wash up first?"
"Doesn’t it hurt anymore?" Yang Fan asked with a smile.
This girl was a bit too generous toward him.
"It still does a little." Yu Hong Dou said shyly, with a smile, "But if Brother Fanzi wants it, I can endure."
"Let’s not, wait until you’re healed. I was just kidding. You’re so tempting; I could want you anytime," Yang Fan laughed.
Yu Hong Dou bashfully smiled, "I’m not that great..."
"In my heart, you’re like a fairy. Isn’t that right?" Yang Fan said as he held Yu Hong Dou’s buttocks and lifted her off the stool.
Yu Hong Dou lowered her eyelids, her cheeks flushed with an enticing peach color, and said shyly in a low voice, "Stop saying that, you’re making me float. Let’s look at the tea..."
Yang Fan gently scraped her cute perky nose and took the box from her hands.
The box was covered with a dust bag. Upon opening, it was filled with ten neatly stacked tea bricks.
Yang Fan picked one up and sniffed it, "It’s very well preserved; there’s nothing wrong with it. This is four-year-old tea brick, starting at four thousand. This whole box looks to be four years old. Just with this box, you’ve far exceeded the amount you were raising. I think there’s no need to look at the others."
"How about we sell the oldest ones? What if those items lose their value later? Wouldn’t that be a loss? I remember there seemed to be several that are over ten years old," Yu Hong Dou pondered, looking around at the nearby shelves.
Yang Fan stopped her, "No, this shouldn’t drop in price for the next few years. Do you know why these are expensive? Because their production is scarce. There are only so many ancient trees on Taicang Mountain; they can’t produce many tea bricks each year."
"Even those merchants in the market, if they can keep one or two boxes of such tea bricks, that’s already hard to come by."
"But I often see a lot of Taicang Mountain tea bricks?" Yu Hong Dou said puzzled, "Is there a difference?"
