Hades Messenger Is Succubus Master -
Chapter 55 Salvation and Revenge
Chapter 55: 55 Salvation and Revenge
The two sturdy men didn’t seem to notice Roger approaching. They continued dragging the woman roughly, step by step toward a carriage. On the carriage, a coachman was waving impatiently at them, urging them constantly.
Roger walked up without a word and slammed both his fists into the backs of the two men’s heads. They were likely only first-level warrior apprentices, and they collapsed instantly under the force. Without pausing, Roger lunged at the coachman.
The coachman saw the two men go down and was so terrified that he nearly pissed himself. Grabbing the whip, he tried to flee. But before the carriage could move, a foot smashed into his face and sent him flying. Roger peered into the carriage and saw some hemp ropes and cloth piled inside—likely meant to restrain the girl. He didn’t let it go to waste, using the rope to tie the coachman tightly, then gagging him with the cloth.
Walking over, Roger tried to comfort the frightened girl while removing her hood. But the moment he pulled it back, he froze. The woman was none other than Jessica—the same woman who had shared a night of pleasure with him not long ago. Her hair was disheveled, her face streaked with tears, her makeup smudged. She looked completely haggard.
"It’s you? Jessica!" Roger’s eyes widened in disbelief. After the initial shock, he felt a deep ache in his chest.
"Roger... you’re Roger!"
Jessica had just begun to recover from her fright. The moment she saw his face, her sorrow turned to joy. She didn’t care about how disheveled she looked—she leapt up, threw her arms around Roger’s neck, and burst into tears.
"It’s okay, it’s okay, Jessica."
Roger gently patted her back, his voice low and comforting. He inhaled the faint fragrance from her and let her cry against him for a while until her trembling slowly eased. Then, supporting her, he helped her sit on the edge of the carriage, letting her lean against the doorframe. But she refused and nestled into his chest instead.
"Jessica, what happened? Why did those people kidnap you?"
"This is..." Jessica’s face immediately twisted in anger when she thought of her captors. She glared at the two men on the ground with hatred. Just as she was about to speak, something seemed to cross her mind. Her expression changed, a hint of shame appearing on her pretty face, and she fell silent.
"What is it? You can’t tell me?" Roger noticed her hesitation.
Jessica hesitated for a while, then sighed softly. She looked up at Roger and asked, "Roger... do you think I’m dirty? You know about me, I am..."
"Don’t say that, Jessica. There’s nothing dirty about you." Roger gently pressed a finger against her lips. "If we’re talking about filth, I’ve been to brothels more times than I can count. I’m dirty too."
Jessica didn’t respond immediately. She just blinked slowly and gazed at him.
Roger moved his hand from her lips and reached around to stroke her hair gently. "To be honest, I had a great time that night. I really like you. I’m telling you now—so long as I’m in Kulun City, I won’t let anyone lay a hand on you. Unless they step over my dead body first."
"I know." Jessica’s eyes lit up, the corners of her mouth curling into a soft smile. She nodded and leaned into him again, obedient and trusting.
"Then tell me—what’s going on?" Roger glanced at the two unconscious men on the ground.
"They..." Jessica rubbed her face against Roger’s chest, inhaling deeply. His scent calmed her. It was a smell that made her heart flutter no matter when or where.
"They’re men of Viscount Stannis, the nobleman who used to support me."
"Oh? Then why would he send people after you?"
"Because I refused to follow him anymore. I already have someone I like now... I don’t want anyone else touching me." As she spoke, Jessica suddenly turned her head and stared at Roger, her beautiful eyes shining with unmistakable heat.
Even a fool would’ve understood what she meant. And Roger—who had long been familiar with the red-light district—was no fool. He coughed awkwardly and said, "Jessica, I’ll be honest... I have many lovers."
Jessica lowered her head and whispered, "I understand... I know that a man like you will rule one day, and I just want to be there when you do. I only want to follow you. I like being with you and that night too you were so good to me,we spend so much time together. I’m just a commoner... I have nothing but this appearance..."
Before she could finish, Roger sealed her lips with his own. He held the back of her head and kissed her roughly, his tongue forcing its way into her mouth as he greedily tasted her. Jessica didn’t panic—her delicate tongue teased him back, and soft moans escaped her pretty nose. The kiss lasted until they were both dizzy. Only then did they reluctantly part.
"Jessica, if it weren’t for these damn guys, I really want to fuck you right now!" Roger pinched Jessica’s breasts with one hand, and the other hand was not idle either. He reached into her skirt and gently touched the tender soft flesh, stirring up the spring water.
"Ah! Ah! It’s so itchy... Stop it..." Jessica panted as if no one was around.
"So, you were planning to break off your relationship with Stannis, and then he sent these people to kidnap you, right?" Roger pulled his hand back from the beauty’s crotch and put the finger covered with lewd juice to her mouth. Jessica sucked obediently and lewdly, making a sound of "tsk tsk".
"Hmm." Jessica sucked and licked, and she gave Roger a nasal sound as a reply.
’I’m now determined to take Jessica. If Stannis finds out, he will definitely bear a grudge. If I let him live, he’ll always be a hidden threat. So why not...’ Roger thought, and a wicked smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
After all, he was a messenger of the Chaos God—his actions should be more unconventional. He could be open and aboveboard, or insidious and vicious.
"Honey, what’s wrong with you?" Jessica noticed Roger’s smile and felt a chill down her back.
"Oh, nothing. I just thought of a good way to make sure Viscount Stannis never bothers you again."
"Really?"
"Don’t worry. Get in the carriage first. You don’t need to stay in this house anymore. I’ll arrange a better place for you."
Jessica obediently got into the carriage. Roger quickly dragged the two men into the carriage as well, tying them up tightly with the hemp ropes, and then drove the carriage back to the Hades headquarters. It was almost midnight, and the mercenaries guarding the gate didn’t recognize Roger at first—nearly causing an armed conflict.
Fortunately, the noise outside awakened Matar, whose hearing was exceptionally sharp, and Roger was able to enter the Hades headquarters safely.
Roger immediately asked Matar to find Randy and Commack.
Once the three sat down to discuss things, Roger was pleasantly surprised. He had been worrying about how to explain things to Sophia after killing a noble. But when Randy mentioned that Viscount Stannis had personal ties with Waberlan, wasn’t that the perfect excuse to kill and burn?
’That’s right. As a noble, if you don’t have some private dealings, why would you visit someone else’s brothel?’ Roger thought, stroking his chin. It didn’t take long for them to finish their planning and come to a decision.
Matar didn’t want to go, and Roger didn’t force her. He simply asked her to help settle Jessica while he, Randy, and Commack went off to find some masks. After boarding the carriage, Roger killed the two men tied inside. The coachman was so terrified his legs turned to jelly. If Roger hadn’t pressed a sword to his neck, he probably wouldn’t have been able to stand back up.
As the carriage made its way toward the Viscount’s mansion, Roger initially thought that Stannis would have taken Jessica to a secluded location. But unexpectedly, Randy noticed that the coachman was heading straight for the Viscount’s estate. Being cautious, he leaned his head out and whispered into Roger’s ear: "The carriage is going to the Viscount’s mansion. Is this some kind of trick?"
"That shouldn’t be the case. Jessica said the Viscount doesn’t know my identity yet. There’s no way he could’ve set a trap for us in advance," Roger replied, pressing the sword harder against the coachman’s neck.
"I’m telling you—if you dare try anything, you’ll be the first to die!"
"I..I... I don’t dare! Sirs, I swear I don’t... I wouldn’t dare!" The coachman stammered, practically pissing himself in fear.
As the luxurious estate of the Viscount drew closer, Roger retreated into the carriage but extended his heavy sword out from within and pressed it against the coachman’s waist.
"If you dare say another word, I’ll cut you in two right here," Roger growled viciously.
The coachman dared not defy him and passed the estate guards without a word, parking the carriage in the stable beside the Viscount’s mansion. Through the swaying curtain, Roger vaguely saw a figure moving on the upper floor of the ornate building. The person looked rather anxious. When he noticed the carriage enter, he began waving urgently before disappearing again—likely heading downstairs.
Once the carriage came to a halt, the coachman looked nervously into the carriage, awaiting further instructions from Roger and the others. What he got instead was a dagger swiftly and cleanly thrust into his throat, sending him to hell in an instant. There was no other choice. A man who knew too much could not be left alive. This was a consensus among the three of them.
Randy was the first to step out. He wiped the bloody dagger clean on the coachman’s clothes. Then came Commack, followed by Roger. The three of them quietly disembarked and looked around the courtyard, which was neither too large nor too small.
After all, Stannis was only a viscount—among the nobility, the lowest rank. His resources and power were limited. The courtyard was sparsely guarded, with only about six or seven men, all of them just first-level warrior apprentices.
Even the captain of the guards had barely reached the second level. These men were no threat at all to Roger and his group. Seeing that there was no significant danger, the trio couldn’t help but feel at ease.
Now, all that was left... was to wait for that man to appear.
