(reviewed at ch 220+) The MC is so hard to like. He comes from a humble beginning but once he get that lotus cheat or whatever, he becomes insufferable, arrogant, childish, and just annoying to read and root for. He drinks alcohol most of the time, skip classes, late to classes, continue to taunt his enemies, and rashly does something that will definitely get him into trouble. So so shortsighted and arrogant. I have lost count on how many mistakes he has made from the beginning of the story. Like he knows that lotus is a power that everyone wants but he flaunts his power like there's no tomorrow, so what did he expect when he failed to kill that puny villain? Of course, that puny villain is going to tell everyone that he got a powerful inheritance. He could've play the long game, more cleanly, surely things would not have escalated like this. He's OP but he's so irresponsible, i feel like hitting his head countless time and scream to his ear to get a grip.

It has a Good Concept and all, but the main character is just a huge weak point. He starts of fine hardworking for his goal, but when he starts at the academi.

He firstly skips a class, and then has this childish personality. When he is someone who so wanted to come out of poverty, and his so idiotic just showing new recieps to someone he dosen’t even know.

Its just infuriating that a novel with such potential became this shitty.

I'm all caught up.

Imo one of the greatest stories on this site so far!

Starts up slow (I almost does in the beginning because of that but I'm so unbelievably glad I didn't!)

Premise is kind of luke Martial world bit in a magus universe, the main character is in my honest opinion a well rounded one, he's younger in the beginning and prone to make mistakes but he actually matures, people like to s*it on him in the beginning for "taking his time" and "actually enjoying life, he should be getting stronger".

Bu I despise s*it like that.

I love when MCs have genuine hobbies and genuine connections with people!

I love how he actually feels human and I adore how after his little school arc (around chapter 200 something) he grows up to become more mature in decision making but STILL KEEPS HOBBIES ETC.

The personality is refreshing and it's a joy to read.

Around chapter 600-something I was genuinely crying cuz of backstory stuff.

I implore you to read this!

One of the greater stories on this site!

Please do yourself a favor and read it and you have to believe me that once he leaves the school/academy it genuinely gets better or rather once he gets onto rank 2!

Please take my word for it!

The story is good and the world building is also great. The main character is great along with the side characters they have depth.

And it also achieves the comedy part perfectly.

So overall great story great writing and great at everything.

One of the best stories on this site imo. It has great character growth and world building. The progression is very clear and linear. While he does, of course, have a very OP item, he does struggle a lot with the antagonists in a way that makes sense. His 'cheat' is not an end all cheat, it's something that will aid him throughput his journey. His obvios disadvanage is his rank and the time he needs to rank-up (which is quite long), so he needs to scheme a lot as he gets embroiled with much stronger enemies.

I seriously recommend this. To an experienced reader who doesn't have much left to read as I feel like I've read most popular stories, this one is a great find.

Quite good actually when u stop looking at his mistakes specifically. I think making mistakes is plot armour to the story, otherwise he would be too OP.

I am absolutely loving the book. ❤️

I always read each chapter as soon as it’s released. Can’t wait to see how the story will unfold and how Powerful Adam is going to become.
