Chapter 47 - 47: Conquering Earth 1

With Patrick and Athena's departure, Seilia excitedly looked at the evolutionary code. She then steadily approached the code with anticipation as she stretched her fingers. Seilia finally touched the golden glitching code, which constantly radiated with unlimited power and mysteriousness.

Upon contact with the code, a trembling sound reverberated within her domain as an endless amount of cerulean energy cascaded down her domain like pouring the sea into a bowl.

Seilia's eyes illuminated with thick cerulean energy, completely overshadowing her verdant mana energy as she gasped in disbelief.

"THIS IS ENERGY MEANT FOR MULTIVERSES ONLY, YET, DUE TO THOU'S MAGNIFICENCE, I'M NOW GRANTED THE KNOWLEDGE AND CAPABILITY TO WEILD IT. WITH THIS, I'M NOW FREE FROM ALL PLANETARY RESTRAINTS AND LIMITATIONS."

Seilia said as her verdant energy body instantly dispersed and compounded with the cerulean energy, which seemed to be endlessly pouring into her infinite space domain.

Currently, the world is in chaos. Numerous gate overloads were occurring, and to make matters worse, there were newly emerging gates in different parts of the cities and nations.

The cities became battlefields, as one could see thousands of people awakened in different locations, all combating the never-ending spawn of monsters from the gates.

"Fall back in formation! Focus on protecting civilians to safety!" In London, multiple awakened fought and slaughtered the monsters when their female leader commanded.

She and her team were surrounded by black dog-like monsters with long red fangs and eyes. The monsters commenced their relentless attacks as they dashed at the awakened warriors, tiring them out and even overwhelming several warriors, ultimately killing them.

"Hold on, reinforcements are on the way!!" The woman said with an exhausted face.

"Captain, look out!"

Another member of the team bellowed upon noticing a monster dog, five times the size of a human, lounging at their captain.

Although informed, the captain was late to react, the monster dog reached the warrior, its devious jaws clutched around the woman's left shoulder.

"Argh!!" The woman wailed in pain, mustering the rest of her strength while gritting her teeth as she turned and slashed the monster's head with her sword.

But despite her exhausted efforts, the monster dog quickly dodged the attack, making the woman's counterattack ineffective.

A look of despair appeared on the woman's face as she dropped to the ground, the monster dog standing over her with its red fangs out like a grunting dog.

The other team members saw this as they also lost their spirited and enthusiastic faces.

But just when all seemed lost, a laser sound echoed as the massive monster dog got instantly pulverized into dust. But following that were countless other laser sounds, which were all only aimed at the hundreds of thousands of monsters endlessly pouring from the gates.

The team members reacted with discombobulated faces as they looked up, trying to trace the origin of the lasers. To their disappointment, there was nothing to see; it was as if the lasers descended from the sky.

Like that, the entire city of London was saved. As for who's the savior, that remains anonymous.

Patrick and Athena were in the Z1000X private jet as they zoomed across London. Within the jet, Patrick sat in the captain's seat with a screen displaying hundreds of thousands of red dots like targets. Athena sat next to Patrick with crossed legs as she stared at the ashes of the hundreds of thousands of pulverized monsters dissipating into the surrounding area.

Alpha said while its golden energy body and pitch-black eyes floated next to Patrick.

"Hmm," Patrick grunted. He then turned to Athena and said, "Aren't you going to ask about what the little girl said?"

"You mean about you not being a native of Earth and the fact you are billions of years old, even arriving on Earth before Seilia even awakened her sentience?" Athena asked.

"Yes," Patrick replied.

"With the power I now wield, and being your wife, and with it all being from you, it would be untrue if I said I don't want to know the origin of it all or you," Athena said as she stretched and rested her right hand on Patrick's leg.

"You will know everything in due course, Athena; trust me," Patrick said as he rested his hand over Athena's. He then pulled her in and kissed her. After separating their lips, Athena smiled gracefully as she replied, "I do, with all my being."

"Now, let's conquer this planet, shall we?" Patrick said with a smirk.

"I mean, it's not like there's anyone to stop us anyway." Athena said, as she also smirked, that she even assumed control of the jet as she said, "Set destination: Moscow, Russia."

Simultaneously, as Athena finished her command, the space around the jet slightly trembled as the jet was suddenly hovering hundreds of feet over the city of Moscow, more specifically, over the property of the most powerful family with ancient history in Russia, the Xidirov family.

Within the residence of the Xidirov family, numerous awakened warriors stood guard as they patrolled their surroundings. Two male guards equipped with weapons stood watch at the gate entrance when they noticed a massive object overshadowing them from the sun.

"Huh?!" One of the guards expressed suspicion as he looked up. Seeing the massive jet, the guard furrowed his eyebrows at first, then as if realizing something, the guard's face widened in realization as he bellowed, "Enemies! –

But before the guard could finish his scream, he and his comrade were instantly pulverized into dust. Their remains were immediately swept by the surrounding wind.

In the jet, Patrick and Athena watched the pulverized guards as they said in unison, "Bullseye!" while smiling as if they were playing a shooting game.

"The world is in chaos, yet there isn't a single gate found within a thousand-mile radius of the Xidirov household; they could have at least been subtle with being dogs of that demon brat," Patrick said as he watched hundreds of awakened warriors rush to the scene while activating their respective powers and abilities.

"Alpha, scan the area for all lifeforms and eliminate all S ranks and below. Their presence is unnecessary." Patrick commanded.

Alpha replied as a holographic screen of over three thousand humans and monsters appeared. Some human-awakening warriors launched their attacks at the jet when they were suddenly pulverized into dust. Like that, and in an instant, over three thousand warriors, human or demon, of the Xidirov family were wiped out.

Patrick said as the jet vanished from the scene, leaving the once crowded and powerful Xidirov family residence lifeless and erased from existence.

Inside the White House, in the Oval Office, multiple people seemed to be reporting different information to the president, who was seven feet tall and massive in stature.

The president stood with hands behind him and a calm demeanor as he stared through the window. His expression was unbothered or concerned the least with the current chaotic event happening worldwide.

"Mr. President, we just received news, that the Xidirov family's main residence was attacked and wiped out ten seconds ago. Our satellite images only provided us with images of the destroyed site, we couldn't get any information on who the culprit was or how they could even eliminate thousands of powerful awakened, including some S-ranks, with ease, let alone in seconds."

A man reported while sharing the images on the main display for the room to witness.

The room went silent as everyone expected the president to comment. But despite everyone's anticipation, the president remained silent as he continued looking out the window. It was as if he was unbothered by such significant news. Well, who can blame him, he is the most powerful Awakened in his country, and his actions held no consequences for him.

Unbeknownst to the cabinet, the president seemed to sense something, he assumed a maniacal smirk as he murmured, his tone hoarse and inhuman.
