Chapter 200: Chapter 200 Changlin Wants to Treat Guests_1

"Alright, how about I do a live stream with Brother Grape tonight?" Li Changlin couldn’t help but laugh, too. Brother Grape was his number one fan. If he did a live broadcast with Brother Grape that night, he believed it would definitely shock the bros!

Thinking about it, Li Changlin felt really excited.

"Sure, I also want to see what it’s like to be a live streamer. Let’s do it! First, how about we hit up Hegemon Hotel, the fanciest place in Jincheng, for a meal?" Brother Grape spoke with his usual magnanimity.

In reality, he was a tycoon, so naturally, when he went out, he’d opt for the most upscale places.

"You’re a live streamer?" Zhou Xingxing’s demeanor was not as stern as before, but he still exuded an aura of ’keep out.’

After hearing the conversation between Brother Grape and Li Changlin, a hint of emotion briefly flickered across Zhou Xingxing’s face, making one wonder what had suddenly crossed his mind.

"Yeah, I’ve been streaming on the Endless platform, and it’s been less than four months." Li Changlin nodded at Zhou Xingxing, then suddenly had an idea, "Brother Grape, I bet you’re tired of fancy hotels. Let me take you and Brother Zhou to a special place today to taste some cooking that’s even more awesome than the chefs at high-end hotels. How about it, are you two brothers interested?"

"There’s cooking even more awesome than high-end hotel chefs?" Brother Grape was slightly startled, then slapped the steering wheel and shouted, "We must go, of course! Come on, Changlin, you better tell me the location quick, I’ll set the GPS."

"Really? Is it that awesome? Or are you just blowing smoke!" Compared to Brother Grape, Zhou Xingxing was skeptical.

After all, he considered himself a foodie; he had almost tried everything that could be put on a table, yet Zhou Xingxing had never encountered chefs that awesome.

You have to understand, if there really was such an amazing chef in the world, he certainly would have rushed to try the delicacies long ago. Why would he wait for Li Changlin to start boasting about it now!

"If Brother Zhou doesn’t believe it, you’ll know once you try." Li Changlin laughed and immediately gave the location of the residential complex where Grapevine Little Dot rented a room.

"Damn, Changlin, isn’t that where you stay?" Brother Grape naturally knew where Li Changlin lived.

So when he heard the address Li Changlin gave, he was filled with confusion, "Tell me Changlin Brothers, the place run by the chef you just said is more awesome than high-end hotel chefs, it’s really near where you live?"

"That’s right, it’s really next to the complex where I live." Li Changlin smiled, then continued, "Brother Grape, Brother Zhou, but when we get there, please don’t freak out. If you end up losing face, don’t blame me for not warning you ahead of time."

"What, from your words, does that chef have some special rules?" Zhou Xingxing was a foodie, so he certainly had seen many chefs with all sorts of peculiar rules.

So upon hearing Li Changlin’s words, Zhou Xingxing couldn’t help but look forward to it.

"His place has plenty of rules." Li Changlin gave a carefree smile. Just thinking about Qian Ziwei’s bizarre rules made him twitch inwardly.

Qian Ziwei was naturally the chef Li Changlin mentioned, more impressive than the cooks at high-end hotels, and the prices in her place were rather eye-watering.

Speaking of which, high-end hotel food was already quite expensive—with even a simple plate of vegetables costing at least a hundred or so.

Yet, the restaurant run by Qian Ziwei was on another level of awesome.

Thinking about it, Li Changlin felt somewhat depressed. Eating a fried rice in Qian Ziwei’s place cost 188 yuan?

And that was the lowest price. If you wanted to add a dish of hot sauce, the price would jump another 100 yuan, totaling 288 yuan.

Given such high prices, one would generally assume there wouldn’t be many patrons.

But in reality, it was quite the opposite; Qian Ziwei’s restaurant was only open for about four hours a day, yet every time she opened, the queue for dining stretched right across to the opposite side of the street.

In Qian Ziwei’s restaurant, there were only four dining tables; the small shop was barely over twenty or thirty square meters, accommodating at most around ten diners at a time.

There was no helping it, who could resist Qian Ziwei’s delicious cooking? Not even the gods!

The car sped quickly, and before long, they reached the community where Li Changlin lived.

"Brother Grape, let’s park in the community’s parking lot first; they don’t allow parking outside," Li Changlin directed Grapevine Little Dot to the community’s parking lot once they arrived at the community.

Afterward, the three of them walked out of the community and headed towards Qian Ziwei’s restaurant.

Qian Ziwei’s small eatery wasn’t far from the community, just a few minutes’ walk.

"Damn, are all those people heading to the restaurant you mentioned?" From afar, they could see a long line not too far ahead.

Seeing this, even Zhou Xingxing couldn’t help but make a comment.

Isn’t that impressive? Could the chef in that restaurant really be that amazing?

For a moment, Zhou Xingxing’s heart filled with anticipation.

"Changlin Brothers, looking at this situation, we might have to wait a long time if we queue up!" Grapevine Little Dot was also surprised; he could tell that all those people in the long queue were gathered at the entrance of a small shop.

That small shop didn’t seem all that large, yet amazingly, so many people were willingly waiting outside in a long line.

Could it be that the chef in the restaurant was truly as incredible as Li Changlin had described?

In Grapevine Little Dot’s heart, there was also a growing sense of anticipation.

"Which one of us three should line up, or should we play rock-paper-scissors?" Zhou Xingxing spoke casually as they walked.

The queue outside now had roughly forty or fifty people; queuing up would indeed be an ordeal.

Zhou Xingxing didn’t really mind the issue of queuing, but if he had to line up by himself, he would be very reluctant.

Of course, Zhou Xingxing also understood that since it was Li Changlin treating today, he probably wouldn’t be made to line up.

It was just a matter of setting the expectation upfront, and besides, wouldn’t playing rock-paper-scissors make it more thrilling?

Zhou Xingxing was quite confident, after all.

He believed no matter what tricks were played, he couldn’t possibly lose to Li Changlin and Brother Grape.
