Shen Binan suddenly sighed, looking at her lively and quirky younger sister, said, "You’re still a student, and you should still prioritize your studies, you know?"

That evening, Fang Yi had just finished dinner when he suddenly received a call from Shen Xiaoxiao.

"So here’s the thing, brother-in-law, tomorrow I’m planning to go to the amusement park with Jian Qing and Qin Xin, you coming?" Shen Xiaoxiao asked with a hint of anticipation.

"You’re paying?"

"...Yes, I’m treating," Shen Xiaoxiao seemed serious on the other end of the phone.

"Alright, I’ll be there."

"Oh yeah!" Shen Xiaoxiao cheered on the phone, then suddenly as if she remembered something important, she added more seriously, "But speaking of which, you’re really stingy, brother-in-law."

Before Fang Yi could say anything, Shen Xiaoxiao had already hung up the phone.

Fang Yi sat down on a nearby bench and lit a cigarette. Sporting three women’s purses, he had quite the impressive "sharp brother" look about him.

Fang Yi smiled, "You don’t know? That’s fine... Is it very hot?"

"Ah? Um... a little..." Qin Xin replied.

The reality was far more than just a little hot; it was extremely hot. In the August heat, fine beads of sweat appeared on Qin Xin’s fair and delicate face. It would be strange if it weren’t hot.

"Here, keep an eye on the bags. I’ll go buy you some ice cream," Fang Yi said, removing the bags from around his shoulders and placing them beside Qin Xin.

He then went to a nearby ice cream shop and bought four large freshly-made ice creams, two in one hand, and headed back. But upon approaching, he found a group of people surrounding Qin Xin, with Shen Xiaoxiao and Jian Qing surprisingly among them.

Fang Yi glanced at these people and his expression immediately darkened.
