Chapter 127: Chapter 129: Knocked Away!

One security guard lay on the ground, unable to get up, kicked there by Fang Yi.

Fang Yi’s gaze was ice cold as he swept it over the security guards, exuding an intimidating aura forged only from a life-and-death battlefield, a life he had walked out from.

The security guards shrank back, intimidated by Fang Yi’s gaze—it was usually they who frightened others, but now they had met their match in Fang Yi and were scared.

Just then, one of the three young men stepped forward. His name was Wang Wenwu. He came to the side of the security captain and glared venomously at Fang Yi, saying, "Kid, if you know what’s good for you, you’ll bow and apologize right away, or you’ll suffer in the security room."

That was a direct threat.

"That’s right! Kid, you better not resist, or you’ll suffer," the security captain snarled.

Fang Yi chuckled and said, "The security at Jide University is really something—assaulting without understanding the situation and even wielding stun batons. I could complain to the school about you."

The security captain sneered, "Go ahead and complain! Let me tell you, this is Jide University, a place of hidden dragons and crouching tigers. Kid, if you don’t want to suffer for the rest of your life, follow us now, or you’ll regret it."

Fang Yi responded indifferently, "I’d like to see what you could possibly do to make me regret."

The security captain and Wang Wenwu exchanged glances, and then the security captain quietly barked, "Charge!"

The security guards charged at Fang Yi again.

Knowing Fang Yi was a formidable opponent, they didn’t use their fists or feet this time but instead all wielded stun batons. Fang Yi pushed Qin Xin back a bit to prevent her from getting hurt like before.

In the next moment, Fang Yi glanced at the security guards, his gaze sharp as a knife, seemingly lethal.

One guard holding a stun baton shivered. Fang Yi stepped forward, snatched the stun baton from his hand, and then slapped him across the face, knocking him to the ground.

A few security guards remained, and Fang Yi swiftly dealt with them as if recounting inventory. It didn’t matter whether these guards had stun batons or if they were armed with swords, spears, clubs, or batons—Fang Yi was unscathed.

This was the gap between ordinary people and practitioners.

In an instant, the security guards lay on the ground, screaming in pain; Fang Yi had not incapacitated them, merely caused them pain.

Both the security captain and Wang Wenwu were stunned.

"This... how is this possible..." The security captain was dumbfounded.

Fang Yi, who appeared elegant and clean-cut, showed no signs of fighting capability, but within a blink, he had downed all the security guards he had brought. His skills were terrifying—could he be a practitioner?

The idea made the security captain’s heart skip a beat—a practitioner? It would take at least a dozen men to handle one!

Wang Wenwu was speechless too. He had thought Fang Yi would surely be defeated, but the ease with which Fang Yi took down the security guards was as simple as drinking water.

Wang Wenwu was terrified.

"I’m not a student of this school, and you better not mess with me, or it won’t end well," Fang Yi said coolly, making it clear he did not wish to continue.

However, at that moment, a mocking laugh sounded.

"It sounds like you think you’re all that! As if you’re the only tough guy in the world!"

Fang Yi raised an eyebrow.

"Bai Yuanshao is here!" someone shouted.

"This guy is dead meat!"

"He’s a Taekwondo Black Belt Sixth Dan!"

"Oh man, Song Shiji hasn’t arrived yet, but Bai Yuanshao is here; this guy is so unlucky."

Many students were discussing among themselves, some extremely excited for the showdown, while others made sarcastic remarks, declaring Fang Yi was doomed—either dead or disabled, no one believed Fang Yi stood a chance.

A youth with two others parted the crowd and emerged; he bore a resemblance to Bai Mingqi with his gaunt face, giving off an icy and stern aura.

When Bai Yuanshao entered, he immediately spotted Fang Yi and flashed his ghastly white teeth, saying, "Come here and kowtow to me, let me break a few of your bones, and I’ll let you go."

Arrogance, conceit, haughtiness, aggression—these were the immediate impressions Fang Yi got.

Qin Xin wanted to step forward, but Fang Yi shook his head at her, signaling her to step back as he could handle it himself.

Then, Fang Yi raised his eyebrow and looked at the disdainful Bai Yuanshao, saying, "You want me to kowtow to you?"

Bai Yuanshao replied, "Kowtow to me, let me break a few of your bones, that would be the greatest mercy I could show you."

Fang Yi laughed; he found Bai Yuanshao ridiculous, "I’ve seen the arrogant, but never someone as arrogant as you."

Bai Yuanshao arrogantly said, "That’s because I have the capital to be arrogant."

Fang Yi said, "Alright, if that’s the case, shall we fight?"

Bai Yuanshao responded, "I will make you utterly convinced in your defeat, let me trample you underfoot!"

The crowd of students roared, ready to watch a spectacle unfold.

"Black Belt Sixth Dan! Bai Yuanshao is certainly going to win!"

"That guy is definitely going to lose miserably, this time it’s not just about breaking a few bones!"

The students were convinced Fang Yi would lose without a doubt because most of them knew how challenging it was to reach Black Belt Sixth Dan, only three levels shy of the supreme title of Black Belt Ninth Dan!

Moreover, Bai Yuanshao, who often challenged others and had never lost, maintained an unbeaten record that was widely talked about in Jide University. They believed Bai Yuanshao was bound to win, and Fang Yi was bound to lose.

Bai Yuanshao stepped forward, looking at Fang Yi with disdain and said, "I’ll let you have three moves."

Faced with such disdain, Fang Yi was neither irked nor angry, "Are you sure?"

Bai Yuanshao replied, "I’ll let you have three moves, to give you some face! That way, no one can say I bullied you."

Fang Yi said, "Good, since that’s the case, I won’t hold back."

Bai Yuanshao let out a cold huff, his eyes filled with contempt and his face radiated confidence.

The next moment, Fang Yi made his move.

When Fang Yi struck, he was always decisively fierce.

Fang Yi threw a punch directly at Bai Yuanshao’s forehead, taking the offer of three moves in stride, hitting hard as he ought to.

But the formerly overconfident Bai Yuanshao, upon seeing Fang Yi’s punch, instantly changed color; he felt the air pressure from Fang Yi’s fist.

To generate wind with a punch...

Bai Yuanshao immediately recalled his elder brother mentioning that if a practitioner could produce wind with a punch, it must mean that he had developed external force, achievable only by reaching the Human Level Third Layer!

Damn it! He was only at Human Level Second Layer!

Left with no alternative, Bai Yuanshao chose to dodge, deciding to figure out the reality of the situation first. While he was about to dodge, Fang Yi’s icy voice rang out:

"I thought you wouldn’t dodge—turns out you actually would," his words dripping with mockery.

Bai Yuanshao’s effeminate face flushed with anger; stimulated, he threw caution to the wind despite his earlier harsh words and leaped forward with a Tornado Kick aimed at Fang Yi.

Fang Yi’s punch hadn’t retracted and still reached forward, landing right on Bai Yuanshao’s sweeping Tornado Kick!

Bai Yuanshao’s body flew backward like a kite with its string cut.
