Global Lord: My Undead Can Undergo Fission
Chapter 92: Trouble Caused by the Territory Again

Chapter 92: Chapter 92: Trouble Caused by the Territory Again

"This behavior doesn’t quite resemble Lizardmen. What could have tamed these Lizardmen?" Fang Jie silently wondered, then asked the Skeleton Hero beside him.

"These Lizardmen weren’t like this before; they were very lazy. If it weren’t for the agreement with us, they wouldn’t even bother moving. They just ate and didn’t care about anything else."

That was the normal state of Lizardmen. What was happening now?

"Lord, perhaps these Lizardmen have indeed undergone significant changes," Dorola’s voice rang out.

After the events in the North, Cosette and Dorola followed me back. We left only a regular Skeleton Hero there, expecting no serious issues.

However, just after returning, Cosette entered the Hero Training Tower to advance, so she didn’t come with us.

Fang Jie nodded, allowing the Death Crow to continue forward. As the Death Crow leveled up, his visual range expanded, becoming larger. Although the more distant the view, the blurrier, he could still make out some details.

"Eh, I see them. It looks like those Lizardmen really suffered backlash."

Fang Jie saw a large group of unusual Lizardmen; these Lizardmen didn’t look well. Their skin was ashen, their scales were falling off, and they occasionally screamed in pain, appearing to be in great discomfort.

Ironically, these Lizardmen weren’t working; instead, they relied on other Lizardmen for care.

But for what reason did these Lizardmen choose to suffer backlash and betray?

Regardless, this seemed to bring them no benefit whatsoever. They clearly knew whether they betrayed or not, they had to remain in the Great Swamp, and absolutely couldn’t match the strength of the mighty Undead Army.

"Wait, how come the Lizardmen troops are so organized?"

Fang Jie noticed some Lizardmen formations that the usual Lizardmen lacked in discipline.

Moreover, each of these Lizardmen wore standardized leather armors and held tridents, which were also standard-issue. Forging was by no means a strong suit of Lizardmen.

Even though they were strong, merely being uncomfortable near fire wouldn’t make them able to turn into smiths.

Moreover, it seemed challenging to mine in a swamp.

"This feeling, why does it seem like these troops were manufactured?" Fang Jie thought about the troops he saw near Qin Lan and the North; they gave off a similar vibe.

With these thoughts, Fang Jie continued to advance the Death Crow.

Finally, after searching for most of the day, Fang Jie saw a particular island within a large area. It was rare for such a big island to appear in a swamp.

However, in the middle of this island, there were many very primitive special buildings.

The Lizardmen and these buildings weren’t incongruous, but it was clear Lizardmen weren’t the builders. Suddenly, a Lizardman climbed out from a pool and looked just like the other troop Lizardmen.

Upon emerging, this Lizardman immediately joined the other Lizardmen troops, standing rigidly in formation.

Also, some very weak Lizardmen emerged from the biggest house in the middle.

Upon exiting, they began various construction tasks. It seemed they were preparing to build a defensive structure around the island. However, the city walls were made of wood, which Fang Jie was familiar with.

Before his Territory upgraded to a town, wasn’t it using this sort of wall?

"Is it really a Territory? I wonder who made this?" Fang Jie was puzzled.

However, suddenly, a distinct Lizardman below seemed to notice something and suddenly looked up at the Death Crow in the sky. The next moment, a spear flew out of the Lizardman’s hand.

Fang Jie felt a darkness before his eyes, and then he couldn’t see the scene anymore.

"Was I discovered? They even have aerial attack capabilities. Very well, but now I know your cards."

Fang Jie roughly understood; somehow the other party had acquired the rights to develop a Lord’s Cottage, allowing for the potential to strengthen their community.

And this Territory was likely originally one of the Earth people, modified by special methods by them.

Previously, the troops he saw were those manufactured Lizardmen troops and Lizardmen farmers. Because he used the Death Crow as his viewpoint, Fang Jie couldn’t see the data.

But one thing was clear: their development was far inferior to his side.

"What are you all doing?" Fang Jie suddenly saw a group of Undead up ahead doing something unknown.

Dorola spoke, "We are trying methods to enter into the swamp. Lord, look, as long as we summon the White Bone Worm to create skeletons, and then fill them with stone, we can make a road."

Dorola then pointed to another direction, "They tell me that there is an area of stone terrain over there with three small stone hills, which can provide plenty of stones, perfect for this task. The problem is, we don’t know where their main base is." This was Dorola’s biggest concern.

It was even possible that the Lizardmen species had no main base.

Fang Jie smiled in satisfaction, truly deserving of an independently-advanced Hero; his mind was exceptional.

"I found their main base. It’s a Territory, located on that small island over there."

"In that case, we can mount a direct attack, no need to worry about them escaping."

After thinking it over, Dorola spoke again, "What about their Territory Level, and the strength of their troops?"

Fang Jie thought for a moment, "Didn’t see Black Iron level troops, might have them but can’t produce them." High-level troop manufacturing required special resources, much more troublesome than their Undead.

"Also, the Territory Level is still at a village level, possibly 4 or maybe 5, but definitely hasn’t reached the town level."

Fang Jie deduced this from the scale and the wooden fences.

In fact, the Lizardmen had defected too hastily. If not for this, once developed further, it would not have been easy to deal with them. After all, Fang Jie really wasn’t accustomed to swamps.

"In this case, we can just attack directly. Our forces are stronger, and they stand no chance."

With overwhelming strength, any tactic would be a waste. Fang Jie also considered this.

"Since this is the case, let’s gather materials and start building the road." Fang Jie found that he had fewer Skeleton Labor than he brought, but for now, that would have to do.
