Chapter 653: Chapter 653: Siege of the Giant Dragon Demigod
"They’ve retreated, chase them down, we absolutely cannot let them escape."
"Exactly, after killing our kin they still want to escape, we must find their lair and destroy it." The giant dragons roared loudly, at this moment they believed they were certain to win.
After all, ever since they were born, they only knew how powerful and glorious the giant dragons were.
From their inherited memories, they also knew how formidable their race was.
Having never experienced failure, how could they suspect the enemy had any schemes? And even if there were schemes, couldn’t they just overpower them with sheer strength, what could they do to them anyway?
They chased relentlessly, but they didn’t cause much damage to the enemy.
They followed the Undead out of their territory and deep into the ocean, yet these giant dragons didn’t care. To them, the deep sea was just a fish pond right outside their home.
As the battle intensified, an immense pressure swept over them from the sky.
The sea surface seemed unable to withstand the pressure and dropped more than a meter. Similarly, the giant dragons felt this pressure, their bodies’ aura pulsated, but none of them dared to speak.
Because they knew, the only one who could emit such pressure, was the Dragon King of their clan.
Some giant dragons, who had never seen the Dragon King since birth, also knew from their inherited memories what was happening.
"They’ve already come out, they’re about to reach the designated location, we can proceed to the next plan."
Fang Jie nodded and gave a sign. Afterward, some people beside him disappeared. Next, Fang Jie just looked at the screen, decided not to speak anymore, since the battlefield wasn’t very far away.
Who knows what means the other side might have to detect his presence?
Although Fang Jie had reached the Legendary Peak and possessed nearly Perfect Law Seeds,
A Legendary is still a Legendary, and as long as one hasn’t reached Demigod, there is little chance of resistance against a Demigod. Even the strongest Legendary can only struggle a bit more against a Demigod.
At their level, even using numbers to defeat the opposition becomes extremely difficult.
Relying on numbers to kill the opposition was basically impossible, Fang Jie didn’t even dare to think about it.
Besides, they were dealing with one of the top beings—giant dragons; who knows what special Secret Techniques they had.
From afar, the Jade Dragon King followed, opening its mouth and unleashing a Jade Raid. A green, liquid-like bizarre breath burst out, instantly covering a large area.
Within that area, all the Undead instantly stopped moving, their entire bodies turning a jade-like green.
Then, these Undead began to drop, Fang Jie knew they had lost their life essence.
That jade-like color seemed like a kind of petrification Skill, but it was much more dominant than the petrification Skill. After all, it was a Dragon Breath; how could it only restrain without any attacking power?
As the signature Skill of the Jade Dragon King, even if a Legendary was hit, it was a certain death.
"Unfortunately, without some sacrifices, victory is impossible," Fang Jie shook his head.
The next moment, the Jade Dragon King indeed seemed unsatisfied because he had just killed only the Gold level Undead. Not a single Legendary level, what was that supposed to count for? His appearances weren’t meant to be so cheap.
Glancing around, the Jade Dragon King spotted some Gold level Undead clustering around a couple of Legendary levels flying low near the sea surface.
Although there were Legendary levels in other places, they were too scattered, only this location had two.
Thus, without much thought, the Jade Dragon King dived directly followed by a blast of Dragon Breath. Just as before, all the enemies turned Jade colored and died instantly.
The Jade Dragon King felt a surge of joy. He had just finished his Breath and was about to roar triumphantly.
But in this brief gap, suddenly, the sea surface burst open, and from seemingly nowhere, a Knight charged out. It was a Knight clad in all-white White Bone Armor, and the Great Sword was shimmering with a dense light.
The proximity was too close, and just having finished his Breath, the Jade Dragon King had not anticipated being ambushed.
As a giant dragon, his sensory abilities were not lacking. Even though he might have just woken up and not quite in top shape, how this fellow had gotten so close to him was no longer something the Jade Dragon King could consider.
The giant Rune Greatsword, carrying terrifying strength, hit directly at the root of the Jade Dragon King’s neck where the reverse scale was located. Normally, if it was a regular giant dragon and its reverse scale was pierced, it would die instantly.
But a Dragon King is a Dragon King. A sword that smashed through the reverse scale and plunged in, and yet, the Dragon King did not die.
The pained Jade Dragon King roared furiously, swiping with his claw and sending the Death Knight who had not retreated in time flying. Yet before he could pursue them, two more figures appeared beside him, both Demigods.
"Damn Undead." The Jade Dragon King’s sanity was nearly gone by now.
A blast of Dragon Breath shot out, followed by his own attacks. His claws turned emerald green, carrying horrific strength. The dense Law Power would pose a deadly threat to anything below the Demigod level just by contact.
But those opposing him were not ordinary people—they were two Demigods.
The Death Knight that had been hit returned to the fray. His bones had suffered numerous fractures, and visible cracks could be seen.
These injuries might not look serious, but the Law aura within them made the Undead ache unbearably.
No, after reaching Demigod status, they could hardly be called Undead anymore—they were merely of Undead origin.
"This dragon truly has formidable strength, still managing to fight evenly against three despite being severely injured," Fang Jie silently thought, but he did not issue any commands as everything had already been arranged.
Now on the battlefield, the command was in Fang Hao’s hands, and Fang Jie could no longer intervene.
Sure enough, realizing he couldn’t take down his opponents quickly and with two more Demigod level Undead joining the fray, the Jade Dragon King was completely overwhelmed.
With his reverse scale destroyed, even as a Dragon King, the injuries were extremely severe; it had only been a burst of energy before.
Now that the burst phase was over, the Jade Dragon King felt fear, because those Undead really wanted to kill him, and indeed could kill him. Judging by their actions, they were utterly merciless.
"Stop, all of you, I am a Dragon, you cannot kill me."
Unfortunately, the Undead opposite did not care about his identity at all, instead, they were very excited about the prospect of killing a Demigod Giant Dragon. Hunting large creatures was inherently a pleasurable activity.
