Chapter 360: Chapter 360: Poison Blood Pool and Fire Bomb Bunker

The day the Blue Sand Kingdom was conquered, a great deal of items had already been delivered into Fang Jie’s hands.

However, what bothered Fang Jie was that, although there were indeed many good items stored by the Blue Sand Kingdom, most were either useless to him or too low in level to be of any use.

After picking and choosing, Fang Jie found that the only truly useful item to him was a blueprint for the Poison Blood Pool.

This blueprint was of silver level, but it was a special blueprint that could be used by the Undead Camp. There were not many other blueprints, and even if there were, most belonged to other camps, mostly used by the Human Faction.

Perhaps those blueprints could be used later to develop human towns and be given as rewards in the future.

Fang Jie collected the blueprint and then started the construction within his territory. He then opened the Treasure Box.

After opening the Treasure Box, there indeed wasn’t much he found appealing, apart from a blueprint for a Fire Bomb Bunker which was still decent but also of silver level and was a special type of defensive building.

"With this, I now have three different types of defensive buildings, and this type is special too. Let’s build one and see," Fang Jie sighed, having no choice but to begin construction.

After sorting through things, there wasn’t much of use which was quite frustrating.

Jia Siwei was ready on his side and began to move his people towards the Blue Sand Kingdom.

Jia Siwei himself came to Fang Jie’s side, ready to move a town directly. "So, you’ve already thought it through, choosing a human-type town?"

Jia Siwei nodded, "I’ve made up my mind. After all, the Blue Sand Kingdom was originally dominated by humans, choosing anything else would not be suitable."

Fang Jie nodded, "In that case, I’ll give you this then" and chose a territory that was about to be upgraded.

After bowing, Jia Siwei proceeded towards the Northern Plateau because that territory was situated there. Once Jia Siwei became the manager of the territory, he would be able to move it with Fang Jie’s approval.

When Jia Siwei left, two buildings had already been constructed on Fang Jie’s side.

Let me see how much capability this thing really has, Fang Jie thought, opening the panel.

Poison Blood Pool (Silver): Soaked in highly poisonous blue blood, it can be used to breed highly poisonous Undead Creatures. Undead soaked and bred in it will carry terrifying poison in their attacks.

Building requirements: Silver Corpse Bones 50 units, Silver Blood 20 units, Blue Sand 10 units, Advanced Yin Gathering Stone 30 units, Storage Crystal Stone 1 unit, Energy Points 50,000 units

The silver-level Poison Blood Pool is used to breed highly poisonous Undead. Fang Jie had let Undead enter it for experimentation during construction. The highest could only breed up to silver level creatures.

However, the breeding requires time. If it is a silver level Undead, it needs soaking for a month.

Fang Jie couldn’t wait that long and used energy points for acceleration. It wasn’t very expensive for just one.

Soon, a blue skeleton climbed out from the blue Blood Pool. Indeed, the blood in the pool was not red, but blue, which had a comforting appearance.

The blue skeleton looked the same, crystal clear and almost translucent.

It looked almost like an artwork, but it carried lethal poison. After testing, Fang Jie discovered that the poison on these skeletons could even compare to a silver-level Highly Poisonous Spell.

"Truly vicious. Besides needing some time, this thing indeed has great effect."

But unfortunately, it was only of silver level, so Fang Jie decided to only produce a batch.

"I wonder if soaking Zombies would make them look a bit better. Well, let’s try."

Fang Jie used Zombies for soaking again. Although they didn’t look as good as the skeletons, they did indeed change their appearance and turned blue.

How much more pleasant to look at, right? Fang Jie planned to build a batch of poison blood pools in the overseas territory.

Then, Fang Jie turned his attention to another item, the Fire Bomb Bunker. This was a defensive building. Blueprints for such defensive structures were very rare, even more seldom seen than troop buildings.

Being able to get it from the Treasure Box showed his luck wasn’t so bad.

Fire Bomb Bunker (Silver): Capable of laying down Fire Bombs within a one kilometer radius, any marked enemy target approaching will cause an explosion; each deployment has 100 bombs, with a cooldown time of 1 minute, and a total of 2000 Fire Bombs can be maintained. Any excess will automatically vanish after three hours.

Building requirements: Refined Stone Bricks 300 units, Refined Stone Slab 100 units, Crystal Stone Powder 200 units, Storage Crystal Stone 1 unit, Fire Element Gem 10 units, Gold Coins 20,000 units, Garrison Troops x2 (Silver)

"A radius of one kilometer is also not bad, and the bunker isn’t very conspicuous, indeed good for setting traps."

Fang Jie observed a nondescript bulge on the ground, that was the bunker’s location. Inside, it could hide some troops, not many, but if it’s Undead, hiding one or two thousand should be no problem.

The power of the Fire Bombs was also strong, similar to land mines, but they had a larger range and were more flexible.

They explode just getting close to the killing range, without needing direct contact.

As they consist of condensed Magical energy, they could not be detected by any special means. Without a specific detection spell, it was impossible to find the exact location of these things.

The explosive power is barely at the silver level, equivalent to silver spells.

And it could mark enemies, only exploding when enemies approached, so there was no worry of detonation by allies.

"Two drawbacks, the first being it must be manufactured using gold coins, and my sources for gold coins aren’t that extensive." This defensive building wasn’t exclusive to the Undead, so it required gold coins, which couldn’t be replaced with energy points.

"The second drawback is that this itself is a functional building."

This isn’t much of a drawback, after all, functional buildings can only be constructed within the territory range. Building outside requires constructing a Fortress first, which was very troublesome.

"Perhaps I could find a workaround, like constructing a Fortress first and then demolishing it. That would make it less conspicuous. Or maybe directly constructing it on a sea fort. I wonder if it’s possible to arrange Fire Bombs on the sea surface, if it’s possible, that would be impressive."

Indeed, setting Fire Bombs in the sea would have the same effect as Water Mines.

Water Mines are much harder to make than land mines, and so far, I haven’t had any defensive capabilities on the high seas. I should experiment when I get a chance.
