Global Lord: My Undead Can Undergo Fission -
Chapter 342: Completely Unleashed True Fury
Chapter 342: Chapter 342: Completely Unleashed True Fury
Fang Jie wasn’t worried about the situation on the side of the Dark Forest at all, because these Druids were clearly restrained by the Undead.
Their decaying Tree Demons exchanged defense for deadly poison and duration of existence. However, the poison had no effect on the Undead; instead, it allowed the Undead to easily harm them.
Otherwise, a normal Black Iron level Tree Demon summoning wouldn’t be something that an Apprentice Level Skeleton could break through easily.
But now it was different, every attack left a deep wound on the Tree Demons; a few more hits would suffice to chop them down. Unfortunately, the Tree Demons had also lost their ability to heal.
So the existence duration of these Tree Demons wasn’t much of an advantage here either.
Even continuously fighting could eventually lead to various problems with the plants here. As for specifics, Fang Jie wasn’t sure, but continuing down this path would gradually wear out most of the Druids.
With farmland in hand, even if the entire forest were destroyed, Fang Jie wouldn’t care—he could simply replant later.
The reason for taking this place down was merely to expand the territory and increase the production area, nothing more. Besides, Fang Jie always felt that the larger the territory a Lord controlled, the better.
Even Fang Jie knew that other Lords felt the same.
While combat in the Dark Forest was intense, the New Moon Kingdom and the Blue Sand Kingdom were similarly engaged in fierce battle. Due to heavy losses among the Nobles, the conflict had become irrepressible.
Many Nobles, filled with hatred or other reasons, kept requesting permission to act.
Gradually, the Golden Armies of both Kingdoms were sent to the battlefield—one hard to return from.
After such prolonged combat, their hired Golden Skeletons were nearly depleted. Of course, this referred to the high-end units; the Low-level Skeletons were too numerous to be depleted easily.
Only about two hundred Skeleton Flying Dragons remained from the Blue Sand Kingdom.
They seemed numerous under normal circumstances, but were very scarce in such a significant battle.
Due to the decrease in high-end Skeletons, their Golden Armies could only fight against each other, further fueling their rage. Although many wanted the war to stop, it was beyond the control of a few.
War meant death, starting with members of lesser Noble families, then members of major Noble families, and eventually even the Nobles themselves were annihilated.
From initial border skirmishes destroying lesser Noble territories and families, to later unstable army factions obliterating one city after another—those were the lifeblood of major Nobles for generations.
With their legacy destroyed, stopping was even less a possibility.
At this point, armies of both Kingdoms could penetrate deep into the enemy’s interior.
It was only because the desert Fang Jie occupied was too peculiar that no army ventured into it. Eventually, a force from the Blue Sand Kingdom made a rapid advance, nearly reaching the Royal Capital of the New Moon Kingdom.
Although the advance was halted, the King’s young Princess died in the conflict.
"Damn Blue Sand Kingdom, they’ve gone too far."
"Yes, we need to teach them a lesson." Many now hearing news of the Blue Sand Kingdom were visibly furious. But attacking the Blue Sand Kingdom Capital was beyond their capabilities.
The New Moon Kingdom, due to its narrow land and limited strategic depth, was vulnerable to such situations.
But the capital of the Blue Sand Kingdom was too far to strike quickly.
"I’ll go and ask the old ancestor to intervene; this is beyond us now."
"Your Majesty, is it really necessary? Once the old ancestor intervenes, we can no longer control it." Indeed, while the current fighting was fierce, they still maintained control, but it would be different with the ancestor.
That was the foundation of the nation, a Legendary Expert.
Any mishap would result in outcomes they didn’t want to see. As long as Legendary Experts existed, they could ensure the nation continued.
Even if Gold-level troops were completely exhausted, that wouldn’t concern them.
But if these high-level experts were compromised, then they would truly be fish on the chopping block.
"If this continues, the enemy might soon attack our Royal Capital. You all understand the consequences." Indeed, if the Royal Capital was attacked, it wasn’t just about losing face.
It would signal nationwide that the Kingdom was losing its grip.
That would be enough to cause mass internal chaos. Legendary Experts could sustain a nation’s existence but couldn’t ensure stability everywhere. In such a case, many regions might seek independence.
Or else, they might be occupied by the Blue Sand Kingdom, strengthening it further.
Either way, they couldn’t let it progress to that extent.
The two fiercely clashing Kingdoms could no longer stop, setting the stage for an ultimate battle. Regardless of the outcome, this fight would force both kingdoms to come to their senses.
The two Kingdoms had coexisted peacefully because their top-level powers were equally matched.
People voted with a show of hands, and most agreed to the suggestion.
The next day, three figures emerged from special locations in the Royal Capital and headed toward the front line. These people moved swiftly, nearly flying across the ground, each step covering a great distance.
Before long, the three reached the front lines. The leader, an authoritative elderly man, drew his Longsword and swung it horizontally, instantly clearing a large area. "What are you waiting for? Charge!"
"This is our nation’s War God, Lord Barro. With Lord Barro here, we are sure to win."
Some older Nobles recognized his true identity.
"Who is this person, and why is he so powerful? That doesn’t seem like Magic." The scope of his move was too large, its Attack Power too great, seemingly beyond even what Magic could achieve.
"Shut up, Lord Barro is a member of the previous Royal Family, one of our nation’s War Gods, a Legendary Expert. The two beside him are as well."
Someone quietly informed them on the side: "You know who the other two are? They are Thunder Knights, developed from the Royal Family’s Resources and heritage. It’s so strong, none of the Nobles have produced a Legendary Expert."
"If the Nobles had a Legendary Expert, the King’s position would be unstable."
