Chapter 338: Chapter 338: When There Aren’t Enough Mages, the Blood Clan Will Suffice

Large spells flew one after another from behind, and the frontline was quickly cleared piece by piece.

This rate of elimination was much faster than previously anticipated. Because of this, other places with Mages finally let them out to participate in every battle.

As long as they recovered their Magic Power afterwards, the lethality they demonstrated on the battlefield was truly terrifying.

All they had to do was to keep these Mages safe, nothing more.

With each battle, the Mages’ casting abilities grew stronger, and even their Magic Power increased continuously. Unconsciously, some Mages even advanced in rank on the battlefield.

Of course, this wasn’t because the battlefield had a significant effect on the Mages, but because of their prior accumulation of knowledge and research.

Just like the warriors, sometimes the power accumulated by the Mages also needed some stimuli to be transformed into real strength. The battlefield was such a suitable stimulus for them.

Because of this reason, the combat power pinned down by the Mages increased.

But unlike before, these warriors were now willing participants. As long as they protected the Mages, their own side would be safer, and they could clear the enemy faster.

The Skeletons that had always been a headache for them now fell like cutting grass, swath by swath.

However, as the battle progressed, eventually, some regular troop types joined in.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that these troop types were normal, but rather that some creature types of troops had joined. The Lords from Earth showed curious expressions upon seeing these creatures.

Because these were not normal people, they were still troops from various different Territories.

Nevertheless, most of them were ordinary farmer troops, farmers of various races, and were sent to the battlefield one after another.

"No need to think about it, these must be from the Lords inside the two Kingdoms; I didn’t expect them to be pushed to this point," someone said, observing the scene.

"It might not be forced, but a necessity for development. If only one Kingdom develops and the other does not, imagine the consequences." Everyone nodded in agreement, sometimes that’s how it was.

Not fearing that the opponent’s strength was stronger than one’s own, but fearing that the opponent’s growth rate was faster.

"Look quickly, some people are lucky enough to bring out Black Iron-level troops."

Everyone looked in that direction and nodded, Black Iron-level troops stood out like a crane among chickens among a group of Apprentice Soldiers.

Not everyone could develop well, most Earth people in this world were still struggling to meet their basic needs. Even those Lords were mostly still using farmers to develop their Territories.

Being able to have regular troop buildings was considered quite successful.

If one could produce Black Iron-level troops, amongst many Lords, it would be something to boast about.

However, what they didn’t notice at this time was that only troops from the Blue Sand Kingdom were being brought out, the troops from the New Moon Kingdom had not been put on the battlefield, still mainly Skeletons.

"Get ready, let them boast for so long, let them see our strength next," said the frontline Commander, his eyes flashing ferociously as he watched the enemy’s advancing lines.

"Leave it to us, this time let’s show you our strength. But afterwards, you’ll need to help us with our conditions," a figure dressed in red stepped forward.

"Don’t worry, I’ve already made the arrangements, just show us your true capabilities."

The newcomer was a Blood Clan member, or to say, a Vampire.

Because the Mages of the New Moon Kingdom had been wiped out in one fell swoop, they no longer had Mage power to use on the frontline. This was not only due to the hatred brought by the death of a large number of Nobles but more importantly, the lack of combat power and units.

But what they didn’t expect was that the Royal Family later intervened, directly bringing a group of Vampires to the battlefield.

Of course, some of these were real Vampires, but the real backbone were a few Gold-level powerhouses, who were Blood Servants. Over time, nurtured by Blood Honey, some Vampires had reached the Silver level.

The hierarchy among Vampires was strict, though the loyalty varied significantly. But as long as the power disparity wasn’t too great, these Vampires wouldn’t dare to rebel. Being from the same bloodline made them easy to command.

A Vampire stretched out his hand and drew a large amount of blood from the nearby Blood Pool into the air.

This blood was contributed by the regular creature troops themselves. They weren’t sent to the battlefield, but were used as blood reserves. After all, for troop types, this wasn’t much.

If the natives were asked to give blood, who knows what they would have thought.

The blood formed into a glowing orb, controlled by the Vampires, and with a surge of a peculiar power fluctuation, the entire blood orb seemed to transform. Then the Vampires threw it like a fireball into the midst of the enemy’s camp.

The blood orb burst open, not with an explosion, but spreading silently like a diffusion, quickly filling a large area.

In this area, all creatures with blood in their bodies had their skin rapidly decay, their blood pouring out, and they died in agony shortly after. Conversely, the special species were not much affected.

The Skeletons were only destroyed if they were too close; those farther away were unharmed.

The Alchemy Products and Elemental Beings, having no blood themselves, were minimally affected.

But as the Vampires suddenly made their move, the battlefield’s creature troops died or were injured instantaneously, heavily.

"Haha, don’t look at their fierce boasting, but we also have a Mage Team," cheered the people from New Moon Kingdom, finally venting the bad air of the last few days.

The Vampires said nothing, as this actually couldn’t be considered normal Magic.

This was the Vampire clan’s use of blood, almost instinctual, also incorporating some magical techniques. For the Blood Clan, as long as sufficient blood was available, this spell was not costly to use, and its effects were strong.

Only some special species were targeted, but most creatures were not so special.

With the targeting by the Vampires, the offensive of the Blue Sand Kingdom paused, because that manner of dying was simply too terrifying.

Previously, unnoticed, a whole Mage Team was affected, and only one person survived, the strongest one. But although he survived, his appearance was as if he had been skinned, horrifying.

The pressure brought by the Vampires was greater than the Mages, because their strength was stronger, and their numbers were more
