The three of them left the area that would only open on the second day and headed toward Meng Han’s location.

Bound equipment is only bound to a player while they are alive. If the person possessing bound equipment dies, the bound equipment will also drop. It can then be picked up by anyone and will temporarily bind to the new professional who picked it up, but the ownership can only be truly confirmed after 24 hours. If the original owner is resurrected within 24 hours, the equipment will still belong to them, and your temporary binding will be removed.

Therefore, when bound equipment drops, it’s best to let someone of the same profession pick it up. If you pick up bound equipment that your profession cannot use, it’s only good for dismantling, as you can’t equip it to benefit from its effects—a complete waste.

Bound equipment is also one of the reasons that instigate ambushes and murders within these dungeons. Some people target others of the same profession who possess top-tier bound equipment. If their target becomes isolated, they will try to focus fire and kill them, then distribute any money among their accomplices while keeping the equipment for themselves.

A single person, however strong, has limitations. Not everyone is like Chen Mo, capable of dealing high damage, having high health, and also being immune to control effects. Once someone is controlled and hit with debuffs, while their enemies apply buffs to themselves, the power gap between them can shrink dramatically in an instant. Even with top-tier equipment, it often amounts to nothing.

This is why being isolated is a very dangerous situation. The very reason for the existence of so many professions in the world is for them to complement each other’s strengths and cover weaknesses. If you are isolated, you will inevitably have vulnerabilities.

Chen Mo originally had many weaknesses too, but through his Composing Ability and numerous SSS-level rewards, he gradually managed to compensate for them.

So, wanting to kill others for their loot isn’t actually that difficult!

Among these three ambushers, two are assassins with stealth skills. Their backstab and stun abilities give them extremely strong assassination capabilities.
