"Ladies, if your idea of fighting is to swing objects and throw scrolls, then there’s no need to reincarnate into a thief.

"Even the brats messing around in the streets can do that job."

The Thief Mentor said this with a calm smile, getting up to personally open the door to the room and saw off the Hero and Little Girl.

"Although he seemed polite, it seems that we are not very welcomed?"

As soon as he left the guild, the Hero mumbled in front of the main gate.

"...After all, thief is a profession that greatly values skills."

The Little Girl reflected deeply.

"The method of throwing objects is too brute; we should have at least mentioned setting traps."

"The second to last, Shooter Guild."

The Hero nodded upon seeing the bow and arrow emblem in front of the guild.

Following the map and directions from passersby, the Hero and Little Girl quickly arrived at their destination.

Though it was early morning, the street was bustling with passersby, witnessing tall warriors carrying various building materials, and agile thieves helping to build and assemble.

Compared to the Thief Guild, the Shooter Guild’s premises were noticeably larger, though not due to financial differences.

Targets were set up at the far end of an open space, probably for training purposes.

Next to this field, the town’s residents were busy preparing for the festival.

This town, thriving due to the lake, welcomes two five-month fishing breaks each year, then commences a month-long fishing season at the beginning of spring and end of autumn.

At the end of the most bountiful autumn season, the annual fishing festival is held, celebrating all the harvests and providing a heartwarming celebration before the harsh winter.

"The festival is about to start soon."

Excited by the bustling scenes, the Little Girl exclaimed.

The Hero nodded in empathy.

"Ready—fire!"

In front of the Shooter Association, following a command, two shooters simultaneously released their drawn bowstrings, and the arrows tied with ropes shot out.

Bang bang, the arrows deeply penetrated the poles that were set up, and the banners hanging on the ropes also fell simultaneously.

Perfectly straight lines, absolutely precise.

"Very good!"

The issuer nodded satisfied, then noticed the two girls who seemed somewhat out of place among the group of adults.

"What’s wrong, little friends? The festival doesn’t start until the evening."

The female shooter with short hair said with a smile.

The Hero shook her head and explained their purpose.

"You’re not here to visit...you’re here for a career exploration?"

The female shooter raised her eyebrows.

"That’s interesting."

"Sorry, I need to leave for a bit," the Shooter Tutor remarked to others, then turned and left.

"Follow me."

The Hero and Little Girl hurriedly followed the Shooter Tutor, but they didn’t go far before arriving in front of a stall that was yet to be prepared.

"Raise your hands, let me see."

The Shooter Tutor called the Hero over and had her come near.

The Hero did as told and raised her arms, while the Shooter Tutor reached out, first lightly holding the Hero’s wrist, then moving up to her arm.

She slightly squeezed and carefully felt the muscles in the Hero’s arms.

The Shooter Tutor’s fingertips, calloused from archery, rubbed against the Hero’s skin, conveying a somewhat strange sensation.

"Um... your Constitution is beyond ordinary, but it seems you haven’t focused much on Strength training."

The Shooter Tutor said somewhat regretfully.

"It’s not strange for a girl your age, but it looks like you can only use this."

She let go of the Hero’s hand, turned to the stall, and after rummaging through, she tossed a Short Bow.

The Hero hurriedly caught the Short Bow, her eyes widening at the first touch of the weapon.

"Give it a try, to see if you have the Talent of a Shooter, just try it out."

The Shooter Tutor smiled lightly, handing over ten arrows.

"The arrowheads are non-lethal, no worries if you miss, consider it a rehearsal for the evening’s festivities. We’ll have a shooting game open to Non-professionals here, and whether you can join the profession depends on your performance."

Holding a bow she had never used before, the Hero appeared somewhat troubled.

She had never shot an arrow before and even needed the Tutor’s guidance on how to notch the arrow.

If not for the Tutor’s kindness, she would have already turned around to leave.

"Um..." Observing the Hero’s less-than-standard bow drawing posture, the Little Girl pondered.

"What do you think about Shooter?" the Hero asked softly, pulling the bowstring.

"Shooter, as the name suggests, is a profession skilled in shooting, focusing on long-range combat."

Recalling her knowledge and what she had seen and heard in her homeland, the Princess from the Border said.

"Unlike the relatively independent Mage and Warlock Association, as well as the Church, Thief, Shooter, Warrior these three guilds are somewhat loosely structured."
