Through the glass window, peeking through the curtains, the morning sunlight paid a visit to the inn room.
The heavy curtains blocked most of the light, allowing only a thread-like beam of dawn light to pierce through the darkness.
At the end of that beam was a large egg buried in a pile of pillows.
Sensing the gentle knock of the sun, the big egg suddenly wobbled, its surface unveiling fine cracks.
The gentle crackling sound startled the little black-haired girl sleeping beside the egg.
She rubbed her eyes and looked at the egg, which was already taller than herself.
Realizing that the Hero was about to hatch, she quickly got out of bed and drew back the curtains.
The room lit up instantly.

2. Turn into sparks♛

In that moment basked in the glow of dawn break, the grey eggshell ignited like flammable tinder, with sparks scattering throughout the room but setting no furniture ablaze.
The little girl gently caught one of the sparks with her hand, feeling no heat, only a warmth that seeped from her palm to her heart.
After the sparks dissipated, the big egg vanished without a trace, replaced by a newly born pink and white girl.
"Sister Hero, good morning!" The little girl greeted while sneakily observing the Hero.
The Hero blinked her emerald eyes and responded with a smile.
’Without further ado, let’s have breakfast and then head to the church!’
It had been the third day staying in Lake Town, and not to mention the possibility of Grandfather worrying, the little girl’s itinerary couldn’t be delayed any longer.
Her skin, bathed in sunlight, had a dazzling sheen, though accustomed to such a posture, the Hero briskly stood up after gesturing a couple of times.
In the presence of a same-gender friend, she had nothing to hide.
Stretching her slender and long limbs, the Hero put on prepared clothing and turned to look at the little girl still in her pajamas.
She looked regretful, watching the Hero’s skin being covered by clothes, coughed slightly, and nodded.
Thus, after changing clothes and eating breakfast, they set off together to the church.
After the Fishing Festival’s celebration ended, the lakeside town entered a busy period, with many fishermen preparing to work early in the morning, the hustle continued until winter arrived.
Yesterday’s Goblin invasion ended quietly without any turmoil, many didn’t realize that several hundred Goblins were slain while they were singing and dancing, only realizing afterward why so many guards and adventurers were in the streets.
Therefore, the Hero who disappeared after exterminating the Fiendish Goblins didn’t attract much attention, despite her covert deeds.
Though many who participated in the Ceremony of Unsheathing the Sword recognized the girl and warmly greeted her.
The Hero nodded politely in response, and throughout their journey, experienced no further surprises, arriving in front of the church.
Early in the morning, within the church, the Cruising bishop finally awaited the person he thought about incessantly.
"Holy Sword Hero, you’ve finally arrived!"
Perceiving the visitor from outside, before the Hero could knock, he opened the door with a welcoming smile.
"Please come in, you must be here for the profession appointment today, is there any profession you’re interested in? You can inquire anything! All fees waived!"
Barely raising her hand, the side door suddenly opened, seeing the Cruising bishop full of enthusiasm, the Hero couldn’t help but step back.
The Holy Sword Hero...it was exaggerated.
Though knowing the person meaning no malice, the Hero was unaccustomed to the bishop’s perpetual enthusiasm, blushing she shook her head.
"Don’t be so humble, without your contribution yesterday, it’s uncertain if the festival would have peacefully concluded."
The bishop lightly coughed, moderated his conduct, and smiled gently.
"Even the mayor is grateful to you, having scolded his son, saying the Holy Sword’s recognition truly holds merit."
And there is the prophecy as well.
"Let’s proceed inside, today I’ll act as a temporary Mentor to introduce the church’s professions to you two." His expression became earnest, slightly bowing, leading them inside.
Suddenly, the Cruising bishop furrowed his brow.
He looked behind the Hero and the little girl.

The Cruising bishop’s face, previously filled with smiles, suddenly turned serious.
"Both of you, please come inside first."
Following this advice, they complied, yet noticed the change in the Cruising bishop, but once inside the church, they didn’t leave, instead, curiously looking back.
Behind them there was no one, but later, a figure slowly appeared from the far end of the street, heading towards the church.
