He should have hugged that sister a little more and should have said goodbye.

Looking at the smiling face of Erick, Kris suddenly stood up and tried to knock him.

But to dismay, with just one wave of Ercik’s hand, Kris flew and his face was injured.

A lengthy injury extending from his right brow to his left face appeared.

This injury utterly ruined the delicate facial features of the kid hidden by the black paint.

He just lay there.

"B*stard you dare to attack me?"

Erick was angry and took out the hot iron from the fire and started walking toward Kris.

"Today I will teach, what are the consequences of fighting against me!"

Kris didn’t even move as he looked at the hatred in Erick’s eyes.

Just then Kris heard a familiar cry,

"Kris?"

Kris’s eyes widened in surprise.

He turned and saw that it was Yu Holea.

"Sister?"

At first, he was confused then various emotions appeared on his face, shock, joy, reluctance, and finally sadness followed by horror and he said in a panic,

"Sister you go! Don’t come here!"

Others don’t but Erick was backed by a black magic practitioner.

That practitioner will arrive here immediately the moment Erick suffered any injury.

Earlier he used to think the person was loyal and caring toward his b*stard father.

Now it looks like, that black magic practitioner is hired by someone to ensure that Kris can never escape.

Kris’s face turned pale and he said,

"Sister run! Run!"

However Yu Holea just calmly walked toward him.

Erick who was ignored by Yu Holea turned irritated and said,

"Miss, it’s better if you stay out of here, otherwise you won’t be able to bear the consequences!"

Yu Holea ignored Erick’s warning, her focus solely on Kris. She walked closer to him, her eyes filled with heartache, she couldn’t help but say,

"Silly boy! Why did you lie? So it be, if I was put in danger I could have...Huh?"

When Yu Holea touched the face that was dripping blood, she was stunned and she asked subconsciously,

"Why are you bleeding?"

Her tone was so gentle that Kris wanted to cry.

However, thinking how this beautiful sister is weak and will be harmed, he held back.

Kris whimpered but he still pushed Yu Holea away and said,

"You go away! Don’t come here! Leave! This devil will harm you too!"

Yu Holea was about to say something when Erick said,

"Now she can’t leave! Since she knows everything, I can’t leave her behind."

Yu Holea who was talking gently with Kris, turned toward Erick and asked,

"Do you want to die?"

Her voice was low and her aura instantly changed.

Suddenly the atmosphere turned cold.

Erick shuddered with fear but he still held on and said sinisterly,

"You want me to die? Dream on! Do you know who is backing me?"

"I don’t care" Yu Holea yelled.

Her heart was burning with fire just thinking about how Kris’s face was bleeding.

Yu Holea bent down, hugged Kris, and lifted him,

"Let’s go to the hospital! You need to dress the injury or else it will worsen."

Yu Holea was coaxing Kris as if she and Kris were the only ones present there.

Erick was irked and said,

"You dare to neglect me? Let’s see how you continue to neglect me!"

As Yu Holea held Kris protectively in her arms, she ignored Erick’s threats.

With a determined expression, she turned and began to walk towards the exit, her steps steady and unwavering.

Erick, fueled by anger and a desire for control, couldn’t bear being disregarded.

He lunged forward, attempting to attack Yu Holea with the iron rod.

Even though Erick attacked from behind, Yu Holea sensed the incoming danger and waved her hand.

A protective barrier appeared around her.

This was the superpower she gained after reaching Black Rank.

As Ercik reached out, a powerful surge of energy erupted from Yu Holea’s being, causing Erick to be thrown back with an invisible force.

Erick crashed into a nearby wall, stunned and disoriented.

The impact had temporarily incapacitated him, leaving him vulnerable.

Yu Holea quickly made her way out of the room, carefully holding Kris in her hand.

By now Kris was stunned by the view he saw.

Just now, the beautiful sister with a wave of her hand defeated that devil.

Suddenly a surge of dark energy emanated from injured Erick, intertwining with the shadows in the room.

The air grew heavy with malevolence as an eerie presence materialized beside him.

It was the black magic practitioner, an enigmatic figure clad in dark robes, his face concealed by a hood.

The practitioner’s eyes glowed with a sinister light as he assessed the situation.

Sensing the strength emanating from Yu Holea’s barrier, he spoke in a voice tainted with darkness,

"Step aside, girl. This doesn’t concern you. Your interference will only lead to your own demise."

Yu Holea raised an eyebrow and said,

"Let me and Kris go, otherwise the consequences will not be great."

The Black Magic practitioner paused and said,

"Do you know who I am? I am Haoyu, my powers surpass anything you can comprehend."

Yu Holea’s brows furrowed and she said,

"I don’t care if you are narrow universe[1]"

There was a silence before the dizzy Kris laughed and Haoyu became angry.

"You!

After taking a deep breath Haoyu sneered, his dark aura intensifying.

"Foolish girl. You underestimate the forces at play here. You cannot comprehend the depths of darkness that await you."

With a swift motion, Haoyu unleashed a wave of dark energy toward Yu Holea, attempting to break through her protective barrier.

But Yu Holea, drawing upon her newfound powers as a Black Rank, stood her ground.

She channeled her inner strength, reinforcing the barrier and pushing back against the onslaught of darkness.

The clash of energies created a fierce struggle within the room.

The walls trembled under the strain, cracks forming from the sheer force of the battle between light and dark.

Kris, still in Yu Holea’s arms, watched in awe as his sister fought valiantly to protect him

He felt like if he died now, he won’t have any regret knowing at least someone cared for him.

Haoyu was stunned by the fact, of how easily Yu Holea was able to fend off his attack.

Just now he used 75% of his strength but the girl was unaffected.

He grimly turned toward Erick and scolded him,

"How did you provoke such a powerful enemy?"

Erick who was staring t Yu Holea with resentment was stunned and asked,

"Is she too powerful?"

Haoyu was so angry that he almost fainted and said in a low voice,

"I won’t be able to hold on for a long while and go snatch Kris, I will distract her. The moment Kris comes in your hand, kill him!"

"Ok!"

Unfortunately for them, Yu Holea’s listening power was much stronger than others, and heard the entire conversation.

She smirked and started chanting a spell.

Soon Haoyu felt something strange and looked at Yu Holea in fear,

"You...you! How do you know...Great Dragon Spell...."

Yu Holea ignored him and pointed her finger in Haoyu’s direction and suddenly commanded,

"Go!"

A golden dragon shot out from her finger and attacked Haoyu.

"No!"

Haoyu screamed in horror.

What could be more horrific for a black magic practitioner? The golden light of holy power.

Haoyu’s body slowly turned black and his body turned into ashes as the dragon attacked it.

Yu Holea came to know about this because of her Black Rank.

From the moment Haoyu appeared a sentence floated in Yu Holea’s mind,

’Haoyu can be defeated by Great Dragon Spell.’

She just happen to know about the Great Dragon Speel and tried it.

Who would think that Haoyu will be really fearful of this spell?

Yu Holea was praising her rank when Zepyr’s voice sounded,

"It was me who informed you about his weakness."

Yu Holea was surprised and said embarrassedly,

’Oh! Then I will have to thank you!’

Saying so, she turned toward Erick and said,

"Now it’s your turn!"

Erick was so scared that he didn’t dare to move.

His previous arrogance was gone but his nasty mouth didn’t shut up and he threatened,

"Do you know who is behind his kidnapping..."

Yu Holea felt that it was a waste of time to talk with him and without giving Erick a chance to finish his sentence, Yu Holea flicked her wrist and a surge of energy shot towards him.

The energy wrapped around Erick, immobilizing him and rendering him unable to speak.

"I don’t care who is behind all of this," Yu Holea said coldly. "What matters to me is the safety and well-being of Kris."

This idiot was too hateful!
