Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All
Chapter 628: Plan

Chapter 628: Chapter 628: Plan

"Qiao Jun for the win. Can he teach my toxic relatives a lesson too?"

"Holea, you better claim this king before someone else does!"

Yu Mei, desperate to shift the tide, raised her voice.

"Even if you think you’re protecting her, you’re just another distraction in her life! She doesn’t even care about you, Qiao Jun. Why do you keep coming back when she clearly wants nothing to do with you?"

Yu Holea sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose as if she were growing tired of the theatrics.

Before she could respond, Qiao Jun tilted his head, his smile turning almost playful.

"Why do I keep coming back?" he echoed, his gaze locking onto Yu Mei’s.

"Because unlike you, I don’t give up when things get hard. Love isn’t about convenience or reciprocation on demand, Yu Mei. It’s about devotion, patience, and knowing what’s worth fighting for."

Just then the ambulance arrived.

Yu Mei wanted to stay and argue a bit more but she knew that if she continued to stay others would know her true motive.

So she can only leave.

Once they left, Qiao Jun turned to Yu Holea and said softly,

"Wifey sit down, you must be tired, right?"

Seeing how quickly he changed from a cold, emotionless businessman to a clingy puppy, the smile at the corner of her lips almost couldn’t be contained.

She was amused by his attempts to soothe her.

"Wifey," Qiao Jun began, leaning slightly forward, "after all I’ve done for you today, don’t you think I deserve a reward?"

Yu Holea arched a brow, her lips curving into a faint, teasing smile.

"A reward?" she repeated, her voice calm. "And what exactly do you think you deserve?"

Qiao Jun’s grin widened. He didn’t hesitate.

"At the very least, a date with you. And," he added, his gaze flicking to her lips for the briefest moment before locking back on her eyes, "a kiss."

Yu Holea let out a low chuckle, leaning back against the sofa. She regarded him with an amused glint.

"You’re being greedy, Qiao Jun."

He feigned a wounded expression, placing a hand over his chest as if her words had physically struck him.

"Greedy?" he echoed dramatically. "I’ve risked my reputation, my time, and even my fortune for you, and you call me greedy?"

She rolled her eyes at his theatrics, but her amusement was evident. "Greedy," she repeated with finality.

Qiao Jun quickly adjusted his approach, leaning in closer. His voice dropped into a softer, more persuasive tone.

"Fine, then. Forget the date. Just one kiss, and I’ll be satisfied."

Yu Holea tilted her head, as though considering his words. Her lips twitched, betraying the ghost of a smile.

"Just one?" she asked, her tone skeptical.

"Just one," he affirmed with a solemn nod, though his eyes twinkled with mischief.

She glanced at the door, then back at him. Her next words caught him off guard.

"You have fifteen seconds."

Qiao Jun blinked, momentarily stunned. "Fifteen seconds?" he repeated, incredulous. "That’s barely enough to—"

"You’re wasting time," she interrupted smoothly, crossing one leg over the other as if entirely unbothered by his shock.

His body, however, seemed to have a mind of its own.

Before he could think, he leaned closer, his gaze fixed on her lips as the seconds ticked away.

Just as he was about to close the distance, the front door burst open with a loud bang.

Both froze mid-action, their heads snapping toward the entrance.

Standing there was Sheng Yin, her eyes wild as she scanned the room.

When her gaze landed on Qiao Jun hovering inches from Yu Holea, her expression morphed into one of outrage.

"Qiao Jun!" she snapped, her voice sharp enough to cut through steel. "Get off her, now!"

Qiao Jun turned to her, blinking in surprise. Yu Holea, meanwhile, smirked knowingly, leaning back with a perfectly composed expression.

"Sheng Yin," Qiao Jun began, his tone calm and unbothered, though the corners of his lips twitched with irritation.

"You’ll have to wait your turn."

Sheng Yin’s jaw dropped, her disbelief giving way to fury as she marched toward him.

"Wait my turn? Are you insane? Get away from her this instant!"

Qiao Jun didn’t budge.

Instead, he cast a sidelong glance at Yu Holea, who was watching the scene unfold with barely concealed amusement.

Realizing he’d been outmaneuvered, his lips quirked into a resigned smile.

"Schemer," he muttered under his breath, loud enough for only her to hear. She responded with a subtle, triumphant shrug.

Still, Qiao Jun wasn’t one to back down so easily. Without breaking eye contact with Yu Holea, he said to Sheng Yin, "I’ll move... once I’m finished."

And with that, before Sheng Yin could reach him, Qiao Jun swept Yu Holea into his arms with startling ease.

He leaned down as though to fulfill his earlier condition—but instead of following through, he winked at her.

"Let’s go."

And with that, he vanished along with Yu Holea.

Sheng Yin watched as Yu Holea and Qiao Jun disappeared.

"You-" She can only angrily look at the air where Qiao Jun was previously.

The world blurred for Yu Holea as Qiao Jun whisked her away, the faint sensation of air rushing around them barely registering.

When they stopped, the sudden calm was jarring. Yu Holea blinked, her surroundings coming into focus.

They were on the villa’s terrace, the night sky stretching above them, pinpricked with stars.

She took a step back, trying to regain her composure, but Qiao Jun was quicker.

His hands slid to her waist, steadying her before she could say a word.

His piercing blue eyes locked onto hers, the intensity of his gaze making her breath catch.

"Qiao Jun," she started, her voice edged with both confusion and warning. "What are you—"

Before she could finish, Qiao Jun leaned down, his movements deliberate yet fluid.

His lips found hers in a soft, claiming kiss, cutting off whatever protest she might have had.

For a moment, Yu Holea froze, her mind racing to process the sudden shift.

Then, instinct took over.

Her hands moved to his chest, not to push him away but to steady herself.

Slowly, almost hesitantly, she kissed him back, her initial restraint melting as warmth spread through her.

The kiss deepened, as though they were both finding something they had missed for far too long.

Qiao Jun’s hand moved to cup her cheek, his touch tender despite the fervor of the kiss.

For all his earlier bravado, there was something raw and vulnerable in the way he held her, as if afraid she might pull away.

Yu Holea didn’t.

She let herself sink into the moment, her guard slipping as she responded to him with equal intensity.

A soft sigh escaped her lips, and Qiao Jun took it as encouragement, his hold tightening slightly as if anchoring her to him.

But even as the kiss lingered, a part of Yu Holea’s mind tugged her back to reality.

She placed her hands on his chest again, this time gently pushing him away.

Their lips parted, leaving both of them slightly breathless.

Qiao Jun’s gaze searched hers, a flicker of vulnerability visible beneath his usual confidence.

"I missed you," he said quietly, his voice carrying an honesty that caught her off guard.

Yu Holea’s heart skipped a beat, but she quickly masked her emotions with a wry smile.

"You’re shameless," she replied, though her tone lacked its usual bite.

Qiao Jun’s lips curved into a small smile, his thumb brushing against her cheek.

"Only for you," he murmured, his words sending a shiver down her spine.

She rolled her eyes, stepping out of his hold but not moving far.

"If you’re done showing off, we should go back," she said, though the faint blush on her cheeks betrayed her calm demeanor.

Qiao Jun tilted his head, the playful glint returning to his eyes. "Not until you admit it."

"Admit what?" she asked, narrowing her eyes.

"That you missed me too," he said simply, his tone teasing but his gaze unwavering.

Yu Holea sighed, crossing her arms. "Don’t push your luck, Qiao Jun."

But the slight curve of her lips as she turned away told him everything he needed to know.

Once Yu Holea was teleported back she had to take a lot of time to calm down Sheng Yin who wanted to beat Qiao Jun for stealing Yu Holea.

After a while, the Yu family members arrived too.

Yu Sicong hugged Yu Holea and muttered,

"I am sorry. I am sorry, you have to go through without us."

Yu Holea was surprised, she patted Yu Sicong’s back and said softly,

"I am alright. They didn’t do much."

Mrs. Yu on the other hand was fuming,

"That b*tch Yu Mei! Sicong goes and announces her true identity! Let’s move forward with our plan!"

"Plan?" Sheng Yin was confused and the face of Yu Holea and Yu Sicong changed.

Mrs. Yu bites her tongue.
