Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All
Chapter 612: Key Of Destruction

Chapter 612: Chapter 612: Key Of Destruction

Another actress, one who had grown particularly close to Yu Holea during filming, chimed in.

"Honestly, Vivian, you sound jealous. So what if it’s a copy? It’s still a beautiful piece, and it suits Holea perfectly."

Vivian blinked, clearly not expecting the backlash.

"I’m just stating the obvious," she said defensively. "It’s not like I’m lying. Everyone knows Holea doesn’t come from money."

"But she’s earned something much more valuable," said the costume designer, her voice firm.

"Respect. Unlike some people who try to tear others down out of insecurity."

The cameraman nodded.

"And for the record, Vivian, fake or not, Holea’s bracelet has more class than your attitude right now."

Laughter rippled through the group, leaving Vivian visibly flustered.

Her assistant tugged at her arm, whispering for her to let it go, but Vivian wasn’t ready to back down.

"Fine," she snapped. "Believe whatever you want. I’m just saying it’s better to be honest about these things."

Yu Holea finally spoke, her voice calm but sharp.

"Vivian, it’s fascinating how much time you spend worrying about what I wear. Perhaps you should focus more on your own work. That might make people notice you for the right reasons."

The table erupted in applause and laughter, with several people murmuring their agreement.

Vivian’s face turned red, and she quickly retreated to her table, her assistant trailing behind her.

"Who do they think they are? How dare they talk about you like that! If I could, I would have torn them into pieces!" The assistant muttered angrily.

Vivian glared at the assistant and almost shouted,

"Why didn’t you defend me when they were mocking me? You dare to say such a thing behind their back, but once in front of them your tongue seems to get paralyzed!"

The assistant’s face turned pale and she immediately shut her mouth. With her experience, she could tell that Vivian was in a bad mood.

She cursed Vivian in her heart,

’Serves you right! Who asked you to be such a b*tch!’

Vivian gloomily sat down on her seat and messaged her mother asking her to bring the plan forward.

But the response from her mother made her even more angry. Her mother indifferently replied,

"I know you are angry but you need to swallow it for the time being. Haste makes waste."

Vivian almost slammed her phone on the ground in anger. She was seething with anger and all her mother thought was to think about the execution of their grand plan!

The assistant tried her best to make her presence small.

What if Vivian got angry and hit her again? It wasn’t like Vivian never hit her when she was angry.

But to her dismay, the next second Vivian turned to her and said,

"Follow me."

With that, she stood up and left in the direction of the bathroom.

Color drained from the assistant’s face but her eyes flashed with determination. The reason why she stayed with Vivian was because of her grandmother’s hospital fees.

But that doesn’t mean she would endure Vivian’s suppression.

A glint flashes in the assistant’s eyes as she stands up and follows Vivian.

The assistant followed Vivian into the dimly lit bathroom, her heart pounding in her chest.

She knew what was coming—she had seen this side of Vivian before—but this time, she was prepared.

As the bathroom door closed behind her with a soft click, Vivian turned around, her eyes blazing with fury.

"Lock the door," Vivian ordered coldly.

The assistant hesitated for a moment but obeyed, her fingers trembling as they twisted the lock.

Her movements were discreet, and with practiced ease, she slipped her phone out of her pocket and placed it on the countertop behind her, angling it carefully so it would capture everything.

Vivian was too consumed by her anger to notice.

"You embarrassed me out there," Vivian hissed, stepping closer, her heels clicking ominously on the tiled floor.

"Do you know how stupid I looked? And you—standing there like a coward, not saying a single word to defend me!"

"I’m sorry, Miss Vivian," the assistant stammered, her voice low, though inside, her determination steeled her resolve.

"Sorry?!" Vivian snapped, her voice rising. "Sorry doesn’t cut it! You’re utterly useless!"

Before the assistant could respond, Vivian’s hand shot out, striking her arm with a sharp slap.

The assistant winced but bit her lip to stop any sound from escaping. Vivian wasn’t satisfied.

Her rage boiled over, and she grabbed the assistant by the shoulders, shaking her violently.

"This is all Yu Holea’s fault!" Vivian spat, her voice laced with venom.

"That sanctimonious little nobody! Acting all high and mighty while I’m left to look like a fool!"

As her tirade continued, Vivian struck again—this time delivering a harsh slap to the assistant’s back.

Her attacks were deliberate, calculated to avoid leaving marks on visible areas.

Her blows grew harder, fueled by her unbridled frustration.

The assistant stumbled but managed to steady herself, knowing she needed to endure for just a little longer.

"You think you can get away with doing nothing?" Vivian hissed, striking her again. "You think I don’t notice how useless you are?"

Tears pricked the corners of the assistant’s eyes, but she refused to let them fall.

Inside, a fire burned brighter than her fear.

She clenched her fists at her sides, staying silent as Vivian unleashed her wrath.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Vivian stepped back, breathing heavily.

She looked down at the assistant with a sneer.

"Clean yourself up," she ordered, her voice ice-cold.

"And don’t think about telling anyone. I didn’t touch your face, so no one will believe you anyway."

Vivian pulled her phone out of her pocket and tapped the screen a few times.

A moment later, the assistant’s phone buzzed.

"That’s 20,000 yuan," Vivian said dismissively.

"Use it for medical bills—or burn it for all I care. But if you think about causing trouble, you’ll lose a lot more than your job."

Without another glance, Vivian turned on her heel and strode out of the bathroom, her heels clicking against the tiles.

The assistant stood still for a moment, the echoes of Vivian’s footsteps fading into silence.

Her body ached, but her spirit felt victorious.

Slowly, she walked to where she had placed her phone, retrieving it with shaking hands.

She unlocked the screen and checked the video.

The recording was perfect—Vivian’s every word, every strike, and every malicious expression were captured in crystal-clear detail.

The assistant’s lips curved into a faint smile, her earlier fear replaced by a sense of satisfaction.

"I’ve had enough of you, Vivian," she murmured to herself, her voice low but firm.

She pocketed her phone and turned to the mirror, taking a moment to compose herself.

She wiped her tears and adjusted her uniform, her hands trembling slightly from adrenaline.

Though the marks on her body would ache for days, the video on her phone was the key to ending Vivian’s reign of terror.

When the party began to wind down, Director Ou raised his glass in a toast.

"To a successful production and to Yu Holea, whose kindness and professionalism have left a mark on all of us. We’ll miss you, but we know you’re destined for even greater things."

Yu Holea smiled, raising her glass in return.

"To all of you," she said. "It’s been an honor working with such a talented and supportive team. I hope we’ll cross paths again soon."

As the crowd cheered and clinked glasses, Vivian sat silently in the corner, her jealousy simmering beneath the surface.

Yu Holea excused herself after 5 minutes and walked to the lobby.

Her head was slightly dizzy due to the drinks she had. A waiter passing by stopped in front of her and asked,

"Ma’am, are you alright?"

Yu Holea nodded, waving her hand.

"I am fine. Thank you for your concern."

Yu Holea hesitated as the waiter continued to press her, his tone becoming more insistent.

"Ma’am, please, just drink the water. You’ll feel much better," he urged, holding the bottle out to her as if it were a lifeline.

Yu Holea frowned, taking a subtle step back. Something about his persistence unsettled her.

"I appreciate your concern, but I said I’m fine," she replied firmly, her tone polite but with an edge that warned him to back off.

The waiter’s smile faltered, and his eyes flickered with something unreadable. He took a step closer, and Yu Holea tensed, ready to call for security if necessary.

Before she could act, a sharp voice cut through the air, carrying authority despite its softness.

"Hey! What do you think you’re doing?"

Yu Holea turned in the direction of the voice. A woman in a waitress uniform approached briskly, her expression stern and her eyes blazing with quiet confidence. Her auburn hair was tucked neatly under her cap.

"Stop pestering her," the waitress continued, stepping between Yu Holea and the waiter like a shield. "She said she doesn’t want the water. Don’t you understand when a guest says no?"
