"So since she is your sister you should know about her favorite food right?"

"Strawberry cake and dumplings."

"Favourite shopping brand."

"She isn’t picky. As long as the clothes are comfortable she will wear it." Yu Sicong replied with a confident smile.

Qiao Jun gritted his teeth but the smile on his face still remained and he finally used the main weapon,

"Alright. Then tell me why she isn’t living with you all currently?"

Yu Sicong’s face darkened and the more he looked at his future brother-in-law the more dissatisfied he became with him.

"It was your Qiao Family who has abducted our sister!"

"Exactly!" Yu Shuchang who at some unknown time had arrived behind Yu Sicong agreed.

Qiao Jun chuckled,

"We abducted her? No. To be precise your own house didn’t have a place for her."

"Nonsense!"Yu Shuchang interrupted him.

"We have invited her so many times but she didn’t agree."

"How can she agree?" Qiao Jun questioned harshly,

"How can she agree? From what right should she stay beside you? A biological sister? If you can bring 20 people who know her real identity of being a Yu Family member, I would break off the agreement.

You claim to be her brother but have you ever tried to fight for her position? Have you thrown out that girl named Yu Mei out of the house?

Have you announced Yu Holea’s real identity to the world? Did you take revenge on those who have bullied her till now?

Yu Siocng and Yu Shuchang turned silent.

They couldn’t refute Qiao Jun’s words at all.

He was speaking the truth after all.

After they came to know that Yu Mei could control them, they ran away, feeling helpless. But now that Yu Mei is in a coma, couldn’t they announce Yu Holea’s real identity?

Couldn’t they bring her home? Just because they are fearful of Yu Mei it doesn’t mean that they can’t fight for Yu Holea’s rights, right?

And Qiao Jun was right. Other than trusting Yu Holea more they have hardly taken revenge on her behalf till now.

Mrs. Yu was even more dissatisfied and just when she was about to scold him, Yu Sicong who had returned, signaled Mrs. Yu to remain silent.

Even Yu Holea sensed that Qiao Jun’s aura was colder than the rest of the time.

She chatted with Mrs. Yu, repeatedly assuring her that she wouldn’t cross any lines and focus on her studies before leaving with Qiao Jun.

"What happened?" Yu Holea asked softly.

Qiao Jun shook his head and said,

"Alright forget it. We should focus on the upcoming engagement party, right?"

One by one the newly made couple met the guest and chatted.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Yu who was lectured by Yu Sicong, felt guilty. Yu Sicong’s lecture was mainly based around the points said by Qiao Jun and Mrs. Yu temporarily forgot about Qiao Jun’s behavior.

In her heart, she started to question her actions and slowly realized that she was indeed not a good mother till now.

For the rest of the party, the entire Yu family has a gloomy mood, however, they don’t show it on their face.

Yu Holea was led to a corner by Qiao Jun, who hugged her and said,

Qiao Jun could only shift his eyes and look at Yu Holea with a wronged look.

Qiao Li was instantly happy and hugged Yu Holea,

"Lea I am so happy that you have become my sister-in-law!"

Yu Holea blushed and said,

"I am yet to become..."

"You have already!" Qiao Li said excitedly.

If she had a sister-in-law like Yu Holea then she wouldn’t have to worry about Qiao Jun at all!

Qiao Jun looked at Qiao Li with a lazy smile, that seemed to indicate that he would deal with her later.

Qiao Li made a face and pulled away from Yu Holea, before dragging her,

"Lea let’s go, the second brother will come on his own."

Yu Holea looked at Qiao Jun who blinked at her and finally, she left.

Qiao Jun looked at the ring on his finger and smiled.

Suddenly he received a voice transmission,

"Master, I found it."

Qiao Jun’s face changed and he asked,

"Are you sure Yue?"

"Yes, master."

"Good. Where are you now?"

Yu Holea arrived at the Qiao Family’s table and was a bit surprised when she saw the Yu family at the table too.

Qiao Heng asked Qiao Li with a dissatisfied face,

"Where is that stinky boy?"

"I don’t know. I tried to find him but couldn’t find him at all." Qiao Li shrugged.

Qiao Heng who got the chance to vent his anger didn’t hesitate and started to scold Qiao Jun,

In the end, Yu Holea quickly calculated the auspicious date, and the engagement was decided to be held on the 14th of the next month.

There were many things be to taken care of so the family quickly ended the banquet and returned to their respective mansion.
