Yu Holea was amazed by Qiao Jun’s superpower but suddenly her expression froze as she asked,

"Can...can you read mind too?"

Yu Holea had always felt as if Qiao Jun was reading her mind.

Earlier she used to think that it was a coincidence but the past few interactions made her believe that maybe...maybe Qiao Jun has mind-reading skills.

Qiao Jun suddenly turned silent.

He wanted to accept it but seeing the narrowed eyes of Yu Holea, he knew that once he accepted the fact that he does have that superpower, he might get into trouble.

Yu Holea waited and waited but there was no answer from Qaio Jun which made her frown and she turned to look at him, only to find that Qiao Jun had closed his eyes.

"Don’t pretend! I know you are not asleep!" Yu Holea said fiercely.

Of course she thought that by talking fiercely she would look intimidating however to Qiao Jun, she was looking like a cat whose favorite food was snatched.

He almost wanted to pull Yu Holea even more closely and kiss her cheeks.

If Yu Holea can become a cat someday he will definitely keep her in his pocket and kiss her every day.

As he was having these strange thoughts, Yu Holea was becoming more and more angry,

"I asked you something!"

No response.

"Fine. You sleep here I am going to Li’s room."

No response.

Yu Holea was truly angered now and tried to stand up, but for some reason, she wasn’t able to move at all.

She instantly understood who the culprit was and shouted,

"Qiao Jun!"

It was the first time when Qiao Jun had heard Yu Holea call his name like that and he instantly jumped.

Like a child, he slowly moved toward Yu Holea, caressed her forehead, and coaxed,

"Darling don’t be angry. I was wrong, okay? I won’t read your mind next time without your permission I swear!"

Yu Holea felt her anger calming down when she heard Qiao Jun accepting that he could indeed read minds and asked,

"So what was Ou Xiangsu thinking when she approached you."

Qiao Jun instantly understood.

His girlfriend was not angry that he hid the fact that he could read minds...in fact, she was angry because she thought that he let Ou Xiangsu near him even when he knew what Ou Xiangsu was thinking.

Qiao Jun chuckled and said,

"I don’t know."

"Huh?" Yu Holea’s anger rose and just when she was about to scold him again she heard him say,

"I don’t know because I didn’t use my superpower on her. I was busy looking at a certain girl who had worn a black dress with a single strap and had her hair open, looking like some model.

I was so mesmerized by the sight that I couldn’t even focus on the surroundings and all I could think of was how amazing it would be to hold that girl in my arms at night."

By the end of his speech, Yu Holea totally forgot the topic they were talking about and blushed.

She was the only one who had worn a black dress with a single strap and had her hair open.

However, suddenly she remembered how Ou Xiangsu had looked at Qiao Jun and decided to teach a lesson to Qiao Jun,

"Oh? So you know what everyone wore, right? I will stop being angry if you tell me what Ou Xiangsu had worn today."

Qiao Jun: "..."

He didn’t know that his little rabbit had laid a trap for him and only thought that maybe Yu Holea truly would let him off if he told her about Ou Xiangsu’s dress color.

But the problem was...he didn’t know what color of dress Ou Xaingsu was wearing today.

He gritted his teeth and tried to rewind his memory to remember what Ou Xiangsu was wearing however to his dismay, he was so focused on Yu Holea that even in his memory other than Yu Holea’s face and dress nothing was clearly visible.

Qiao Jun opened his eyes and saw Yu Holea who was waiting for his answer.

After much hesitation he said,

"Wine...I saw it! She was wearing a wine-colored dress!"

Toward the end, he shouted as if he was pretty confident about his answer.

Yu Holea was surprised when she heard Qiao Jun’s answer.

Does Qiao Jun not want to be forgiven or did he sense that she had set up a trap for him? Or maybe...he truly didn’t see Ou Xiangsu’s dress color...

Yu Holea decided to test him and said in a happy tone,

"Correct."

She saw Qiao Jun visibly relax and heard him boost,

"I have a good memory! I remember everything perfectly!"

Yu Holea finally couldn’t hold her laughter and laughed loudly.

Qiao Jun paused when he heard her laughter and sensed that something was wrong.

"Oh...haha...hahaha...hahahahah...I couldn’t believe that you don’t remember the color of her dress but yet you are being so confident...hahaha!"

Qiao Jun’s face turned red and he said in a small voice,

"Stop laughing."

However, Yu Holea didn’t seem to hear him and continued to laugh.

It could be said that she was truly happy today.

After all, it was her first time, that she had tricked Qiao Jun.

Otherwise, it was always her who used to get tricked.

Qiao Jun wanted to be angry...after all, all the people who had tricked him by now were either dead or half-dead but now he was tricked by this little rabbit who only knew how to scratch his heart.

He couldn’t get angry no matter what.

But that doesn’t mean that he won’t take revenge...

Qiao Jun suddenly pulled Yu Holea closer and bit her right ear which made Yu Holea’s laughter die down.

Her body shivered by the sudden pain in her ears. The pain was bittersweet.

Yu Holea felt her brain stop operating as she heard Qiao Jun say in a dangerously seducing voice,

"Yes, I don’t remember anyone’s dress other than yours...because I can’t look away from you Miss Yu Holea. It’s your mistake."

Bite.

"Ahh." Yu Holea could help yelp a little.

Her heart was speeding as if it was racing against time. Qiao Jun’s warm breath on her neck was not helping her either. On top of it, the proximity between them was narrowing slowly.

Yu Holea felt her mouth go dry and she heard Qiao Jun say,

"It’s your mistake for being so beautiful and gorgeous that I can’t look away."

Qiao Jun lightly bit on Yu Holea’s ears one more time before letting go and said,

"Now sleep."

Saying so he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Yu Holea on the other hand shivered.

She couldn’t help but blink. Sleep? How could she sleep now? Her entire body was burning and Qiao Jun’s warm body was not helping her.

She tried to struggle but before she could move, Qiao Jun suddenly woke up and bit her ears again causing Yu Holea’s whole body to go limp and her body’s temperature increased even more.

"I said sleep."

Then Qiao Jun closed his eyes.

In his mind though he was thinking that Yu Holea was truly a rabbit. Just like a rabbit, her weakest spot was her ears.

He had once read that a rabbit’s most sensitive spot was their ears. So it was true!

Yu Holea saw how Qiao Jun closed his eyes and slept peacefully and was at a loss.

How...how should she sleep?

Next morning.

When Qiao Jun woke up, he saw Yu Holea’s beautiful sleeping face and suddenly stiffened.

God!

He hates his body.

Gritting his teeth, he took a long breath and cursed himself for being a beast, before slowly moving away from Yu Holea.

Once out of bed, he made his way to the bathroom and took a cold shower.

When he came out of the shower he saw Yu Holea peacefully sleeping and once again he wished that Yu Holea could grow up fast.

Dealing with this problem every day by himself was very hard...

Slowly he walked up to Yu Holea and kissed her on her forehead.

"Good morning beautiful." He whispered.

Yu Holea didn’t wake up but her slightly tensed expression relaxed a little making Qiao Jun smile.

Qiao Jun checked his phone in a good mood.

However a message from one of his subordinates made him angry instantly and he couldn’t help but laugh in anger,

"Oh? So you have planned so much for my Lea? How thoughtful of you Yu Mei."

The message was a photo of one of the pages of Yu Mei’s diary.

On the page were some brilliant ideas that Yu Mei wanted to execute after Yu Sicong’s accident.

"Calling back Holea to Yu Mansion and trampling on her, forcing her to stay in Yu Mansion by performing...um? Black Magic? Controlling Yu Holea to make her enter the entertainment industry...shining by making Yu Holea her stepping stone..."
